Beck is fortunate that his name isn’t Pecker, but then if you act like one? Anyway, CNN, that used to run much of the day in the background on my TV (often as “whitenoise”), is no longer. I have switched from “Fox-Lite” to MSNBC. Let racists like Beck and Dobbs enjoy their circle-jerks.

Beck has an interesting background. He’s an admitted reformed alcoholic and drug addict. His mother committed suicide when he was 13. He has had two other family members commit suicide since then, including a brother. (Wonder if he’ll show a little compassion for Dennis Kucinich.) Also, he was raised Roman Catholic, but has since become a Mormon. I suppose we can expect him to wag Romney 24/7 if he gets the nomination. It’ll be boring.

Kay, Beck doesn’t bother me like most of the other talking heads… At least he is trying to get people to e more eco-friendly and self-reliant. I heard him talk the other day a bit about how it didn’t really matter who won the next election. I am completely ok with him working to dis-hearten the republican party! Could it be that he is secretly on our side???

Glenn Speck (me) is an aging environmental chemist in Oklahoma City. As luck would have it, I am a Republican, and as an environmental scientist of 36 years experience, I do think that global warming is nonsense. I do not yet have a radio show, and think that my prospects of getting one soon are rather bleak.
