The Maine GOP is a joke. They’re not organized, they have Paul LeTeaBag as their mascot, and they have no new ideas. Nothing has changed here! Same as usual!
A couple weeks ago the Maine Democratic Party created the following video asking where Paul LeTeaBag is because after he made an ass out of himself by making up lies about Arden Manning of the MDP, he went into hiding. He told the press that he would no longer speak to them and would issue his responses to them in writing. Since the time he made that statement, he also decided to not participate in the September gubernatorial debates, because well, he’s a coward. Here’s the video the Dems created:
Simple, and to the point.
Now, fast forward to today and you would think there would be ONE creative republican in the Maine GOP who could create their OWN video using their own idea. Nope! Not even close! I’m telling you….republicans in Maine and across this nation are all alike. They’re nothing but a bunch of robots who are programmed to do what their Masters tell them to do, and when they can’t come up with a new idea, they just copy the closest Democrat. And they did! Here’s “THEIR” video against Libby Mitchell (which is filled with lies, deceits, and distortions):
Is that the gay Ken Mehlman speaking on this video? Could be!
Okay, now the truth about Libby Mitchell…
She’s pulled out of TWO of the upcoming forums because the other candidates running for governor were not included. She feels that it’s not fair to them to not have a voice in this race, because all worked hard to get on the ballot. Paul LeTeaBag? He’s not going to ANY OF THE DEBATES, because he doesn’t want the people of Maine to know his real stance on the issues. If Mainers heard them, they would run for the hills pulling their hair out!
Libby Mitchell, as a Maine Clean Elections Act candidate, has been meeting with the people of Maine from one end to the other since her campaign first started, because she has time to. Since Paul LeTeaBag is not a MCEA candidate, he has to raise funds! So, who is he meeting with on the campaign trail? Oh wait! He’s begging for money!!!! That’s how he spends his time and I’m sure he’s glad that two conservative groups here in Maine are suing the MCEA because they don’t think it’s fair! (well, your LeTeaBag could have ran as one but he decided not to! Why? He loves the big out of state money and all rich people!) Speaking of meeting and talking with local business people….
….has Paul LeTeaBag interviewed himself yet? I wonder. He’s screaming all the time that welfare needs to be reformed, but I have yet to hear him state what he does with his employee’s at Marden’s. Does he pay them a decent wage so they aren’t able to qualify for food stamps and other welfare programs? Are his employee’s at Marden’s offered part-time employment only like Wal-Mart employees are so they’re unable to get medical benefits and are forced to have to use Maine Care/Medicare? Huh? I think it’s time LeTeaBag MEET WITH HIMSELF ON THESE ISSUES! He might scare himself with his answers! Oh wait. Here’s one…
“No one can afford it,” he said. “In 1996, 71 percent of Marden’s employees took health insurance. Today, we’re down to 29 percent. Why? Because the other 25 percent that the employee is responsible for is unaffordable.”
LePage has been general manager at Marden’s since 1996.
Connection? Yep! He took all those full-time people and made them part-time so they wouldn’t qualify for insurance! See? Saved Marden’s a ton of money to show a profit to their investors I’m guessing! The republican theory of leadership is very simple: Screw the little people to prop up the big people at the top!
Here’s what Libby Mitchell has said about Maine’s financial situation:
“We want to do everything we can to make sure that Maine comes out of this recession stronger than it started,” Mitchell said. “We want to support those businesses that are trying to create jobs in the state. We want to invest in our workforce and our kids. We want to help all those who are in need. We are in tough times, but we are optimistic.”Mitchell said elected officials understand the need to get business done and to go home and she described the budget crisis is “an opportunity to improve the way state government delivers its services.”
As much as I don’t like Gov. Baldacci, he cut many social programs to help get our state above the surface of the water (which is why I don’t care for him…he cow-towed to the republicans way too much!). We are better now financially than we were when George Bush was given the office in 2001! Having Paul LeTeaBag in as governor would make our finances worse. He would do exactly what George Bush did: TAX CUTS FOR THE WEALTHY RESIDENTS/BUSINESSES while SPITTING ON THE POOR AND MIDDLE CLASS to take up the slack.
The republicans can’t create a video without copying the Democrats and when this republican was asked what besides tax cuts is a good way to stimulate the economy, he said, “tax cuts”. See? They’re all robots! ONE NOTE IDIOTS!
