I thought Hillary Clinton looked very presidential last night dealing with the hostage crisis in New Hampshire…
By kayinmaine ~ December 1st, 2007. Filed under: Election 2008, Kucinich, Politics, Terrorism, republican.
….but she’s still not my pick for the presidency next year….Dennis Kucinich is. ![]()
Here’s her press conference after the hostage taker was arrested:
I thought she handled herself properly with compassion and concern like a true leader should.
Hillary commented, “Everything stopped, and it had to because we had nothing on our minds except the safety of these young people who work for me…”, which is exactly what a true leader should do. You don’t continue with your day if your people or your citizens are suffering or in trouble. Oh, but George Bush always has. Remember Georgie when Katrina was drowning Americans in their attics? Yep, playing guitar and eating cake while ‘Rome’ burned! Remember the morning of 9/11/01? Yep! Georgie sat there reading a children’s book not looking stunned at all, but waiting for someone to say something to him, because he had no idea how to act. In fact, he had the authority to have these planes shot down, but he never gave the order and instead Cheney was the one to do it and Cheney had the F-16’s fly out over the Atlantic, which was the exact opposite direction where the action was going on that day! A big faux pas? Nope. Intentional move on Cheney’s part? I think so.
Anyways…
George Bush would have somewhere invoked 9/11, Osama, or the ‘waronterra’ if he was the one doing this press conference. Thankfully, Americans didn’t have to have his white noise of propaganda shoved down our throats! Hillary acted in a mature manor which is a far cry from what Americans have witnessed with George Bush over the past seven years. I’m looking forward to that asshole being gone!
My first thought when the breaking news came about this hostage situation in New Hampshire at Hillary’s campaign office was…who is this person doing this? I figured this person had to be one of 3 things:
~a reich winger whose hate for Hillary Clinton had made him go batshit crazy
~a lefty who was not a Hillary supporter but wanted some questions answered
~a mentally ill person who wasn’t political at all and was using her campaign office for attention
Of course, because of my ideology and political stances, I figured this person was a typical reich wing nutcase who was probably paid to do this to Hillary’s staff to put the fear in them. A Ron Paul supporter? Yep, I figured this guy was. Now that the truth is known that this man was mentally ill, I still believe the wacko is a reich winger. LOL Hey, most of them are mentally ill, aren’t they? My proof and answer to this question lies in the comment section of most posts here on White Noise Insanity! I’ve not met a reich winger yet online who doesn’t show some kind of mental dysfunction. They truly are insane!
Speaking of insane reich wingers from New Hampshire….my parents have friends in New Hampshire, who are your typical soft spoken couple who’ve been married for years. My parents and them have known each other forevah. Well, a few years ago (in the 1990’s) their daughter Rachael (she is ex-military…Army) met a guy in New Hampshire who ended up being a white supremacist/neo-Nazi insane reich winger. They married (personally, I think Rachael was brainwashed by this guy) and then this guy moved he and Rachael to the mountains there where they ended up having two daughters. He literally kept Rachael from having contact with the outside world. Rachael’s parents were not able to see their granddaughters because of this wacko. This guy was insane for sure and it took her a few years to be able to break away from him to get back to normalcy. She feared for her life for awhile, but it’s my understanding that things are finally quiet for her. This is the kind of guy I figured had taken Hillary Clinton’s campaign staff hostage! A total fruitloop.
So, what were your thoughts when this hostage crisis was underway?

Us right wingers aren’t all crazy. Check out the latest Gallup poll results on the mental health of Democrats vs. Republicans.

Master, that comes from the “Knock me over with a truck” news department.
Regressives entire identity is invested in gloom, defeat and self-loathing.

December 1st, 2007 at 11:53 am
Yes, we know about this poll. No matter what this poll says, 70% of Americans think you’re crazy because you support George Bush, support his lies, support Dick Cheney, his lies, support Sen. Susan Collins, support her lies, and you support an illegal occupation of a sovereign nation but refuse to fight in it to “save America from the terrorists”! See?
December 1st, 2007 at 11:56 am
Very true, Redneck. The republicans of our nation are the regressives and the rest of the country is progressive and forward thinking.
I love how you trolls are now going around the Internet posting this gallup poll everywhere. How come? Is it the only “proof” you have at this point and will be using this poll from this week for the next 10 years to let everyone know that you’re not insane like Americans know you are?
Can you explain how the poll was conducted? Who was polled?
December 1st, 2007 at 11:58 am
Would a republican say, “I’m voting that my mental health is not good”? Nope! Republicans lie. Democrats would be honest in saying that their mental health has changed over the last seven years, because George Bush & Dick Cheney have ruined our country, our reputation, and have shit on the US Constitution, which is a document real Americans hold to their hearts. Not you reich wingers though! You’re happy with the last seven years because America is quickly becoming the next Uzbekistan. You’re happy with an authoritarian dictatorship for America. See? You consider your mental health good just like Oscar the Grouch is happy with his messy smelly home.

That poll really bothered you:)

That poll must be pretty accurate.

Yes it is. The freaks are happy with the destruction of America and sleep well at night just like George Bush has for the past seven years. See?

December 1st, 2007 at 4:01 pm
But, one thing that nobody is pointing out is that this is a self identifying poll. Which could also be taken as Repubs are just deluding themselves into thinking that they have less mental illness than any other group.
Besides, we all know that reich wingers are deluding themselves every day with things like Geo. Bush is great, we are winning the war, Bush for god, etc…..
December 1st, 2007 at 4:20 pm
Obviously Jim, you don’t know how Gallup does it’s polling, and conducts it’s polls. Gallup does not do a poll that’s not scientific, nor will it publish the results of a poll with an error greater than a couple of percent.
Why do you call right wingers “Reich wingers,” alluding to the Nazis. Any half of a fool knows that the Nazis were the left wing run amok. Hitler was a liberal, and The Nazis were your relatives, not ours. Get your history straight. If you called us fascists, you’d be a little more on the mark.
December 1st, 2007 at 5:03 pm
The asylum inmates are most likely to believe they are the sane ones…in Republicanland or best known as crazytown people think they are sleeping sound when they are really sleepwalking in unreality.
December 1st, 2007 at 5:20 pm
First of all, asking a group to rate itself on anything is not very scientific. I will agree that Gallup usually does a much better job than it obviously did this time.
To quote the article from Gallup:
Republicans are significantly more likely than Democrats or independents to rate their mental health as excellent, according to data from the last four November Gallup Health and Healthcare polls.
One example that I will cite for the ‘reich wing’ comment is based on the religious fanaticism of the reich wingers. A perfect case in point is the movement toward a more religious educational system. For example, the use of public money in the form of school vouchers being used for religious schools and “intelligent design.” Ok, two examples.
And of course…
Secular schools can never be tolerated because such schools have no religious instruction, and a general moral instruction without a religious foundation is built on air; consequently, all character training and religion must be derived from faith …we need believing people.
Adolf Hitler, April 26, 1933, speech made during negotiations leading to the Nazi-Vatican Concordant
December 1st, 2007 at 5:48 pm
The trolls don’t know the right from the left. Nazism/fascism is FAR right just as communism is far left. Hitler was a reich-winger. In fact he was constantly weeding out, executing communists from his Reich. Just because it was called the National Socialist Party didn’t make it socialist. Even Stalinism was perverted socialism as in reality, the PEOPLE in the Soviet Union had no power, either.
Liberals are better educated and therefore probably think more deeply. There is a reason for the old adage….Ignorance is bliss! Those who don’t think probably don’t suffer as much from depression. Bush tells them all is right with the world, and they sleep very well.
Utah, who went 82% for George Bush, is now the most depressed. It looks possibly that Mormonism in conflict with the outside world may be a factor:

Kay you have your opinions which is your right but you are so wrong .
December 1st, 2007 at 5:59 pm
And Adolph would never lie to the Pope………
Hitler was a liberal. His own Nazi party was an amalgamation of the Nationalist and SOCIALIST parties. He raised taxes, grew government, regulatedbusiness excessively, persecuted opposing viewpoints, instituted excessive governmental programs, fixed prices, invented Political Correctness, advocated aborton, euthanasia, controlled the media and tolerated no opinion but his, engaged in social engineering, reformed health care system, taxed windfall profits, lied a lot, and ensured everyone had security from the womb to the tomb as long as they did what the government told them to do. Sounds like a liberal to me.
December 1st, 2007 at 6:15 pm
My post at #17 was caught by your Spamcatcher, Kay. Somehow the trolls seem to get easy passage here, but it may be due to my posting credible links which are most often foreign to most trolls.
Below is a link to a good article on the psychological differences between liberals and conservatives. It also shows how 9/11 caused some on the left to move to the right, even some becoming neocons. It appears that the Rovians tapped into that insecurity which for awhile gave Bush approval numbers around 90%. Often we identify we are either Republican or Democrat due to what our parents were and often don’t analyze why we think of ourselves as right, left, or in the middle. It’s always easier to follow the dictates of a “decider/dictator!” As somebody raised in a nearly 100% Republican family, I CHOSE what to believe while in college.

At least Kay allows trolls at her website. There is no such freedom of speech for liberals who try to post at Free Republic, Red States, and other reich-wing websites. Well, Jeff, I thought we would have a good debate about this, but you seem more bent on proving to me that Hitler was a liberal and not addressing any of the points I brought up. So, here goes…
He could not stand for any diversity. Aryans only for him.
He justified his anti-semitic massacre based on the Bible.
And Hitler also rounded up the gays (together with the old, handicapped, coloured and gypsies) and perform atrocities on them before shoveling them into furnaces.
Bush on the other hand has cut taxes for the wealthiest people in our society and ….
grew government, regulated business excessively, persecuted opposing viewpoints, instituted excessive governmental programs, [snip] tolerated no opinion but his
December 1st, 2007 at 8:03 pm
Jim, You need to revisit your history about Hitler, as you are unaware of certain things. Hitler wasn’t Aryan only as you state, nor was he totally anti-semitic. Of the Semites, he only hated the Jews…he had good relations with the Arabs. He also had good relations with the Japanese, Italians, and Spanish, which could hardly be classidied as Aryans.
Any sophomore in college who actually read Mein Kampf would realize that Hitler’s Final Solution was not biblically based.
Liberals do something as bad to minorities as Hitler did to the Jews, they create a welfare state, and make them victims to ensure their vote.
Liberals insist on Political Correctness, yet don’t tolerate any divergent opinions.
The wealthiest people in society should have their taxes cut. They’re the ones paying for all of these programs you want to put in. I’m tired of having my wealth transferred to non-productive citizens through such insidious devices such as the Earned Income Credit and other welfare. Getting the government involved in welfare has just created a permanent underclass…who’ll incidently vote Democratic.
The wealthiest people pay the lions share of the taxes and should get tax relief. I don’t know what your financial situation is, but excessive taxes and regulations sure hurt my business. Check out the Laffer curve, applied right, cutting taxes will make everyone better off.

It’s the wealthy of this country who hide most of their income, cheat on their taxes, and pay the lowest percentage in taxes! These asswipes complain about the poor getting $25/month in foodstamps for crying out loud! Put a sock in it. If you don’t like socialized medicine too, then you’re saying our troops should have their socialized medical benefits yanked away and have them pay their own bills for their injuries incurred on the battlefield, isn’t that right Fascist Troll Bush Hitler Supporters?

All I can say is that if Americans are foolish enough to elect Hillary to the presidency; they will soon discover they are getting a Dem version of Bushco in spades!
Nothing Bushco has done to trash the Constitution from the Patriot Act to his signing orders scam will change. Hillary will simply continue the process of eroding our freedoms. We’ll also continue to remain in Iraq and Afghanistan until the 12th of never.
I simply know too much about the Clintonistas and their unholy alliance with the Bushistas going back to Bill’s days as governor of Arkansas;ie., Mena, Iran/Contra, CIA drug-smuggling in CONUS, etc.
*****
Flowchart for transgenerational tyranny…

If this were a grade school fractions class and we had to determine the lowest common denominator we would come up with Bush/Clinton for 30-40 plus years!
We need fresh blood in the presidency to say the least. This can only happen with the complicity and blessing of the MSM with their constant referencing to poll results. This is their way of pre-conditioning the electorate to accepting their choice for this high office. “We the People” get to simply indemnify the shadowy NWO oligarchs’ choice for our national leaders via the voting process; now compromised too, via the “Diebold Overide” phenomena…!
America and it’s citizens are in harms way with this continual stream of mattoids in control of the U.S. and it’s peoples.

Well, I looked in on Red’s dissent and rational debate encouraging site. It’s pretty much the same old shit you find on all neocon sites. All predicated on the belief in the big lie that every single muslim in the world wants to kill us. Same crap that happened to the Jews in Europe in the 20th century. Dogpack mentality. Don’t engage neocons because you can’t, their minds are made up. Rather, concentrate on defeating them.
And, for God’s sake, never, ever, ever, that they seek anything like peace. They want total war. They get off on war. (Watching it, that is. Not actually fighting it themselves. That’d be dangerous.)
December 2nd, 2007 at 8:52 am
Never, ever, ever think that they want anything like peace.
December 2nd, 2007 at 9:09 am
Gage, those who support the GOP do not like peace. They’re afraid of diplomacy and they only stand up for stem cells….everything else should die and be rid of! Like you pointed out, they would never fight in George & Dick’s nation building exercise over in Iraq. No way! Too scary for them. As chickenhawks, they support what Georgie is doing but are too wimpy to actually go fight in it. Pigs.
I’m proud to call myself a liberal. I could never be proud to call myself a reich wing jackboot licking knuckle dragging neocon.
Starting tonight, we’re getting snow and we can expect 12-20 inches where I live. Wow! I’m working today instead of tomorrow, of course.
Talk to you later!
December 2nd, 2007 at 10:13 am
Kay, the thing is, most of the people who think they are neocons don’t really know what a neocon is. It’s the “conservative” part of neoconservatism that they fix their minds to without bothering to wonder why “neo”. Here’s why: Neoconservatism is not conservatism. It’s deliberately vague, but if the people who THINK they are neocons would simply look at what the neocons in Washington have brought them — expanded government, expanded executive powers, a war that has the potential of becoming a world war and has done not one goddamn thing to curtail terrorism, and an enormous deficit and national debt — they’d know they’ve been deceived. I’m not conservative per se, but my fight isn’t with conservatives. My fight is with NEOconservatives.
And that term is an oxymoron anyway, because, not only is neoconservatism not conservatism, it’s not new (neo) either. It’s what Adams argued for against Hamilton and Jefferson: A Federalist government. A two-tiered government comprised of an executive, where most of the power is vested, and a parliament, chosen, not elected, and subject to the executive. Nothing NEW about it. It’s exactly what Britain had at the time of the American Revolution.
This isn’t something I came up with. If the supposed neocons in this country would bother to read up on Leo Strauss, the neocon’s mentor, and what he advocated, beckoning to Adams, they’d know this. But they don’t. On that site that Red posted, one lady quoted from The Art of War. If she’d give that book a thorough read, she might get to the part about divide and conquer. That is exactly what is happening to US, Americans. And who’s doing it to us. The NEOCONS. (The real ones.)
Oh, and one other thing. Something ironic. One of the issues that the neocons have (undeservedly) gleaned a lot of votes from is the gun owners’ lobby. If the neocons are successful, if they do in fact manage to erode the power of the Congress with things like presidential signing statements and crap like that, then, essentially they will have created that two-tiered government Adams argued for. A king and a parliament subject to the king. A dictator in other words. Now, do you think a dictator is going to allow for his subjects to be armed? Point to one who ever did.
December 2nd, 2007 at 2:57 pm
Batten down the hatches, folks.
December 2nd, 2007 at 8:32 pm
OMG Gage! Thanks so much for explaining why I hate the neocons so much. They are a far cry from conservatives and have seedy intentions under a huge cloak of deception, manipulation, lies, and propaganda to fake out the masses…hence the name White Noise Insanity. These assholes are using their own form of white noise to drown out what they’re doing to America! Gawd I hate their guts. I’m the same as you…it’s the neocons I despise and I don’t care what they think when I voice it loudly either. They’re the ones who hate America….not the rest of us like they say.

A great story in my Sunday Chronicle about Houston’s first Bosnian restaurant that serves the 10,000 Bosnians who have emigrated here. One of the co-owners is Muslim while his partner is Greek Orthodox. While there have been centuries of strife in the Balkans, the Muslims and Christians who have come to live here, do so in peace with each other. Gives us some hope for the rest of the world someday.
