THE BUSH SUPPORTERS’ CREDO
By Nancy Greggs
Those of you who still believe in George W. Bush and his party, please place your right hand over your heart and repeat the following – all eleven of you.
I BELIEVE that President Bush is a good Christian, who is guided by God in all of his decisions – even when God tells him to torture, steal, lie, kill hundreds of thousands of innocent civilians, and ignore his own citizens when they are dying in New Orleans.
I BELIEVE that all homosexuals are sinners who should be shunned by society – except those who are mouthpieces for the GOP, evangelical Christian leaders who get caught, or children of the vice president.
I BELIEVE that losing the respect of countries around the world strengthens my country, and inciting the people of the world to hate us is the true path to making the nation safe.
I BELIEVE that this administration supports the troops – despite sending them into battle unequipped, housing them in deplorable conditions when they return, and doing everything possible to cut their pay, pensions, benefits, and long-term health care needs.(Walter Reed Hospital)
I BELIEVE that the War on Terror is vital to our national security – along with the War on Christmas, and the War on Easter.
I BELIEVE that any president has a right to ignore the Constitution and break the law – as long as he’s a Republican president.
I BELIEVE that the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan are proving to be wildly successful – and the stories about civil war and the return of the Taliban are fabrications concocted by the media.
I BELIEVE that things like the Geneva Conventions are quaint and outdated – along with the Bill of Rights.
I BELIEVE that religion should play a larger role in government – as long as it’s my religion, and not someone else’s.
I BELIEVE that ‘family values’ are an important part of a politician’s persona – but it doesn’t matter how many ‘families’ a Republican politician has had, or how he has treated them.
I BELIEVE that this administration always tells the truth – no matter how many times they are proven to have lied.
I BELIEVE that George W. Bush has always had a sound strategy for military operations in Iraq – he has simply chosen not to share that winning strategy for fear of tipping off the enemy. Ho Ho Ho
I BELIEVE that people like Perle, Wolfowitz and Kristol will someday be proven correct in all of their predictions – perhaps not in my lifetime, but some day.
I BELIEVE that the fact that administration cronies have wound up making a fortune during Bush’s tenure in office is mere coincidence – as amazing as that coincidence may seem.
I BELIEVE that Ann Coulter is a humble, patriotic woman – while Cindy Sheehan and the 9/11 widows are merely publicity-seekers.
I BELIEVE that when FOX-News reports things like Barack Obama having spent years in a madrassa, they are correct – and all public records proving the contrary are clearly wrong.
I BELIEVE that when President Bush says he served his full military duty, he is correct – and all public records proving the contrary are wrong. That is a good one to think about.
I BELIEVE that unemployment, deficits, and national debt are positive signs for the economy – and the fact that the trickle down theory hasn’t trickled down to millions of Americans yet is of no real consequence.
I BELIEVE that good Christian values should be part of government – except when it comes to feeding the hungry, sheltering the homeless, and caring for the sick, in which case Christian values have no place in government at all.
In summary, I BELIEVE everything I am told to believe by people who have lied to me, deceived my country, manipulated the government in order to line their own pockets, eroded my rights, destroyed my freedoms, and wave their ability to get away with it in my face at every opportunity.
I BELIEVE – because I am an idiot who will believe anything.

Awwww how cute. Do they still wear red armbands and jackboots? Huh. I wonder.
I believe that a severe, unyielding case of crotch rot should befall Bush and company.
I hope you’re right Mike. If not, maybe we can get them to sleep with Ann Coulter to achieve that! Ewwww.
nice one.
Off topic, but funny! A friend of mine told me about this obituary in the Portland Press Herald last night. It’s from Wednesday of this week. Read the first paragraph! LOL Freaking hysterical!:
Sara Katherine Petterson Brouillard
Sara Katherine
Petterson Brouillard, 55
CASTINE — Sara Katherine Petterson Brouillard, 55, of Castine passed peacefully at Eastern Maine Medical Center on Wednesday, March 21, 2007, following a brief, courageous battle with cancer and a long and aggravating marriage to Paul Brouillard.
Sara was born July 22, 1951, in New Haven, Conn., to Joseph F. and Susanna D. Petterson. Sara moved to Castine when she was 6 months old. She attended The Adams School in Castine, St. Juliens School in Portugal, and graduated from Sumner High School in Sullivan. Sara attended Keuka College in the finger lakes of New York, where she graduated with a BA in Sociology in 1973.
After graduating from Keuka, Sara lived in Petaluma, California, Hawaii, and then returned to Castine where she met and married Paul E. Brouillard in June of 1981.
Over the last 25 years, Sara and Paul restored many buildings and started several businesses in the area, including The Castine Harbor Lodge, which they have run for the last 17 years. Sara was very active in her children’s lives and in the community. Amazingly, she also made time for her beautiful gardens and to travel with her family, both of which she took great pleasure in.
Sara is survived by her husband, her three daughters and two grandsons, her parents, two brothers and four sisters, and many nieces, nephews and in-laws.
Funeral services for Sara Brouillard will be held on Friday, March 30, at 3 p.m. at the Main Street Trinitarian Church in Castine, with a reception to follow at The Castine Harbor Lodge.
Please send donations in Sara’s memory to:

Bush’s policies detest my tribe but:
1. Bush had a “thang” with Jeff Gannon
2. Cheney’s daughter is a dyke-for-hire
3. Karl Rove’s step-father is gay
4. The Bush twins are fag hags
5. Bush was known as “Lips Bush” at Yale
Frankly, I would expect to see Bush #43 at Tea Dance in the Pines on any Sunday afternoon.
The Republicans who voted for the chimp believed in the vision, so just what does that make them – idiots or morons?
Love this post, Ms Kay! And for whomever decided to smack Paul Brouillard, I bet he deserved it!
Mike, I dunno about the crotch rot, but the party of Bush et at is rotten to the core and I predict, right here and now, that their sorry corpses will be safely buried in Nov ‘08…altho that might pollute the groundwater.
A burial for these monsters is out of the question; much too dignified. Let them all burn in Hell!
A time ago there was a type of people called traitors, they were killed in various ways for betraying their nation and helping the enemy, now they are simply called liberals and are allowed to speak their lies freely with a tight control over most of the media (CNN and the New York Times for example). The liberals are very anti-christian and will become the leading factor in the fall of America, it will happen someday but the liberals are just weakening the country from the inside with their lies and anti-christian attitude. I can not stand political correctness, these liberals must be taken care of or they will take everyone down with them.
I mostly hate liberals because of their hypocrisy. My ultra-lib sister-in-law dogs me for living in a rural area, and denying my children exposure to other races, yet when her neighborhood began to change all of a sudden public schools were’nt good enough for her kids and they were enrolled into a private (white) school. Another example, when her purse was snatched by a young “person of color”, the words “fuckin’ Nigger” rolled off her tongue as smoothly as if she were Mark Furman. There are many other examples of liberal celebrities, and politicians that like to tell us how to live our live our lives, yet their own lives are an orgy of “Me first and to hell with the rest of you!!” and “do as I say and not as I do!” Fuck all of you liberals . I hope we have a war so I can put about fifty notches on my AK47 stock. Maybe more I hope
Kay, I’m afraid you aren’t being fair. You are asking that Bush Reichers to place their hands over parts of their anatomy that they have lost, as the post above mine clearly shows.
New York Idiot sez:
“I hope we have a war so I can put about fifty notches on my AK47 stock. Maybe more I hope”
And that, folks, sez it all.
LOL TomCat! ^5!
Now this seems a little odd, because with all the Oil Maggot Trolls we’ve had here at WNI, we seem now to be attracting the plastic dealers. LMAO!
jr*****@plasticswarehouse.com
AK-47… hmmmm…
Isn’t that a communist weapon by design?
If you live in a rural area, you’re living with the neocon dogs! Ha ha. I live in a rural area and the people in my town are mainly moronic Bush supporters who crave to have a beer with their Master Bush! Bunch of wackos.
Oh and by the way troll? Liberals do not like the “N-word”, okay? IT’S THE REDNECK RIGHT WINGERS WHO USE THAT KIND OF LANGUAGE!
LOL Rocky. I think you’re right. Awwwww how cute, the right winger has a communist gun. Not surprised! All the fascist pigs are liars!
Apparently some latent commies as well, Kay!
#18 with regard to #14!
I’m slow, today.
I bet he wears pink too, Rocky.
Better dead than red, Kay!
When you’re red, you’re dead in the head, and subsequently alone in bed, and don’t have no bread, ’cause you’re rhetoric-fed!
Okay… I won’t quit my day job.
I was just thinking.
We could all come together and buy a huge plot of land – like a 1,000 acres outside Albuquerque, NM (away from the NE winters) and each of get say, 100 acres each. We could build our homes in any style we damn well like and in effect, live in liberal splendor. Make it a GOP-free zone.
It’s time for the return of the hippy commune but ours would have to be wired.
Hi all. Just a quick visit tonight due to being sick with a nasty chest cold. I’m glad you posted something about the neocons being fascists. It goes with what I’ve been ranting about most of the week. It’s a March 29th article by Glenn Greenwald concerning said neocons and the redefinition of “left” and “right” by the neocons and it goes to my point that these people or trolls who support Bu$hcon and Cheneyburton who claim to be “conservative”, either they are hopelessly deluded or they are first class liars, knowing perfectly well who and what the neocons are all about and most likely are on the gravy-train this regime provides them.
I know you have a link to his sight Kay, but I thought it important enough to link to this article:
Neoconservative radicalism has reshaped our political spectrum
Being liberal has taken on another meaning also.
We are close to a fight for our lives. Believe it.
I likes New Mexico…
*Sigh*
I love Mexican food and mild winters.
Oh well, we have 18 months to go and we’re blowing out of the Northeast faster than you can say Harriet Miers.
Hi all, just a quick note, I’m a sicky tonight, but a suggestion to read this article by Glenn Greenwald if you haven’t already:
Neoconservative radicalism has reshaped our political spectrum.
I tried posting this earlier, but it got eaten by wordpress.
‘night all
Oh yeah, it’s on salon.com. But you guys already knew that. My brains aren’t working too well now. See ya.
Fight of your lives. This lot started in the thirties and stayed underground because decent people saw through their lies. They are no easy game and must be beaten. Life won’t be worth living if they succeed in taking power permanently. You can bet they know the weaknesses of the current system and have sabotaged the hell out of it by putting their own in charge. That is why loyalty is the first quality they look for. ( Not being very bright helps with the ranks : pretty much like what they’re reduced to accepting in the forces these days )
Church, cults and theocracy are their opening. Makes a change from devil worship I guess, which was the mantra the last go round in the forties. This plan has waited to hatch until America’s power seemed unstoppable. Oddly enough, for science deniers, weapons tech is something they’ve always gone for. Guess that’s why the budget has been obscene and wars have been engaged in just for practice ( and graft ). This is the lot that ran Vietnam.
You will hear again and again – America must be strong to fight off her enemies. Sounds like a good reason to go out and make more.( You know that’s satire, right ? )
The soldiers are young and idealistic. Their civilian bosses ? We know who they are.
very informative article
I really like this one a lot. It proves once and for all how blind, ignorant, and stupid certain people are. And I thought lying was one of the 7 Deadly Sins. Apparently not if you are a so-called Conservative Republican who only THINKS he/she is a good, honest, all-American Christian!
George W. Bush is indeed hated and despised. Bush may not be “self-aware” relative to his narcissistic personality disorder. A lot of mentally ill people are oblivious and/or in denial of their mental illness. But Bush is probably aware that he has psychological problems. Bush may quibble over semantics or interpretations or opinions about whether it would be appropriate or fair to say that he has psychological problems of “clinical significance.”
George W. Bush is gravely mentally ill and needs help.
It is on the Internet: people are “counting the days til Bush leaves office.”
The American people can hardly wait til Bush leaves office. The presidency of Bush has been a nightmare for the American people and for the world. The narcissistic personality disorder of Bush has certainly contributed to what is almost his inability to do anything right.
