Well, today is Wednesday, you know…..the day in the middle of the work week. While you and I were working hard today the right wing welfare recipients in Boston showed up to see Sarah Palin speak at the Tea Party scheduled there.

SIDEBAR NOTE: We have to make this assumption that they’re all welfare recipients who refuse to get a job and who would rather sit at home to suck off the government’s tit, because this is what the right wingers are always saying about us liberals who go and see President Obama speak during the week or who show up at a protest.

I’m sure Sarah’s welfare recipients today applauded her when she gave her anti-tax message too! These right wingers are lazy, no good for nothing, non-taxpaying U.S. citizens anyway, so of course they loved her talk about less taxes…..THEY DON’T PAY ANY! Do they realize yet that Sarah is duping them all by saying she’s one of them, can feel their pain all the while making $100,000 every time she opens her mouth? I bet they don’t, because why would they care? They got to see Sarah today in leather for free! See? And if you hear there was no trash left behind at today’s rally, well, you can chalk the reason up as them not having any welfare money left over after spending the first two weeks of their monthly take-in on booze, cigarettes, a bazillion inch plasma television and lobster! By the way….

Who wants to bet there were lots of other right wing Bostonian welfare recipients who wanted to come to see Sarah today, but couldn’t, because they had no way to get there and didn’t have a phone to call DHS for a ride? I bet there’s at least another million right wing Boston welfare recipients who were at home glued to their gigantic plasma tv’s because they couldn’t get there to see Sarah in person! Maybe Sarah could have sent them some money to come? Naaaaaaah. She hates these people and is using them. No way will she part with her money when she knows she’s going to jump on a private plane (complete with bendy-straws for her wa-wa) for her next speech to make more money!

I bet Scott Brown was glad he didn’t show up today to have to hear Sarah talk in her fingernails-down-a-chalkboard voice! Oh wait. He’s not a welfare recipient! Nevermind!

What a crock of crap coming out of Howie Carr’s (a millionaire) mouth today (same shit, different day!). If you’re wondering where the class wars are, just tune into WRKO’s Howie Carr’s show to hear the constant berating of the poor and kicking them down when they don’t deserve it. Howie also hates the homeless in our country. He’s one of many conservatives who thinks all the homeless needs is a good long shower and a haircut to be able to make it in America! Spit. But that’s another post.

Today on Carr’s show, he stated that all the kids on the first day of school who have brand-new clothes are the poor kids, while it’s the kids of the working class who arrive on the first day of school wearing hand-me-downs. Can you believe this bullshit? Is Howie trying to make his listeners hate the poor even more than they do by saying it’s the kids on welfare who get all the benefits? Yep! That’s exactly what he’s doing! He’s absolutely lying about the poor in this country.

I can tell you right now (I’ve spent a decade and a half in the homes of the wealthy because of my job)…..THE RICH KID’S CLOSETS & BUREAUS ARE PACKED WITH NEW CLOTHES FOR THE NEW SCHOOL YEAR. Not only that, during the school year some of these kids shop for clothes all year long! One of my customer’s daughter has a clothing allowance. A clothing allowance. Did you have a clothing allowance when you were in school? LOL! I didn’t! In fact, my father was a Union paper mill worker and my mother would order our clothes from Sears. We’re we wealthy? Nope. We’re we upper middle class? Nope. We’re we part of the working class. Yes, but that did not mean we lavished ourselves with clothes all year long. What it did mean was: THOSE WERE THE ONLY CLOTHES WE WERE GOING TO HAVE FOR THE WHOLE ENTIRE SCHOOL YEAR and if we ripped our pants or stained a shirt….oh well! We still had to wear them. And that was that.

I remember the delivery truck showing up to our house from Sears and then being made fun of in school for the clothes I was wearing! We couldn’t afford the nice brands, but you know what, we were clothed for crying out loud! Not only that, I also got hand-me-downs from my cousins while the poor in my class never had new clothes. Same goes for today. The poor of today are not buying the latest fashions. What they are doing (and it’s what I’ve done for years with my son) is buying a couple of outfits for the new school year, buying some clothes at Christmastime (if they can afford it of course) and then clothes on the birthdays (again, if they can afford to). This is how the poor and lower middle class survives. The wealthy and the upper class? They’re buying tons of clothes every year and if they have a kid who only wants to wear hand-me-downs during school, this kid is most likely considered the ‘weird kid” at school! LOL

The class wars are coming from the right wing in this country. The health care debate is fueling it too. They think all Americans who don’t have health care are the poor ones and not the people of the middle class who have lost their job and can’t afford to buy new insurance or they have a pre-existing condition and can’t! Howie wants you to believe that it’s only the poor of America who has it good while it’s the rest who are suffering because of the poor. What bullshit!
