It’s no secret that I think Howie Carr is a vile right wing Pig, so it was a little amusing to me to be listening to him the other day go on a rant about how he believes that the recent Newsweek cover of Sarah Palin is the most sexist cover he’s ever seen. Man, I was starting to think that ole Howie was truly changes his colors before my eyes, but then I made the mistake of listening to him again the day after his rant, because during this particular rant about Alexandra Kerry (daughter of John Kerry whom Howie hates and despises!) getting an OUI, ole Howie proved me correct that he is a sexist right wing Pig by telling his listeners (paraphrasing but close), “You gotta see this photo of Alexandra from a few years ago! Hey Sandy (his assistant on the program), put that photo of her up on the website so everyone can see it! I’m telling you right now….if I had to arrest someone dressed like that, I wouldn’t be able to!”.

Get it now? According to Howie he’s very good at knowing sexism when he sees and he believes it’s not sexist to put a photo up on your website showing the nipples of the daughter of a sitting Senator for everyone to gawk at, but it is sexism if you put up a photo of Sarah Palin on the cover of a magazine where she’s wearing shorts and not a nipple in sight!
