QUOTE OF THE DAY:

<br />

GLENN BECK AT CPAC 2010: ‘Hello, my name is the Republican Party, and I’ve got a problem. I’m addicted to spending and big government…I’m addicted to spending and I just don’t want to spend today.’ (CLICK HERE FOR LINK TO QUOTE)

"If by a “Liberal” they mean someone who looks ahead and not behind, someone who welcomes new ideas without rigid reactions, someone who cares about the welfare of the people — their health, their housing, their schools, their jobs, their civil rights, and their civil liberties — someone who believes we can break through the stalemate and suspicions that grip us in our policies abroad, if that is what they mean by a “Liberal,” then I’m proud to say I’m a “Liberal.” ~ John F. Kennedy, 1960

His last name might be Weiner, but he has a big hairy chest with lots of muscles in my eyes!

Oh man. You gotta watch this video of Rep. Anthony Weiner giving the republicans a swift kick in the ass! Love him:

Will Rep. John Boehner show up drunk to President Obama’s health care summit?

johnboehnerdrunkass__whitenoiseinsanitydotcomphoto

If Rep. John Boehner shows up sober to Thursday’s Health Care Summit it would be an absolute shocker, because honestly, Boner right now is really trying to distance himself from President Obama’s 6-Hour-Slaughter. Boner has always been about the length of the Democrat’s health care bill saying it’s too damn long for any drunk guy to read with one eye open, so when President Obama provided an eleven page outline for Boner to read, he now says it’s too damn short (not enough drinking time between chapters now apparently!)!

Buck up Boner! You can do it!!!!! LOL

The republicans are control freaks, so it wasn’t surprising to read that the republicans really want to control the seating arrangement for Thursday, because well, you know, they really don’t want a lot of face time for the Democrat’s to use in their commercials during the 2010 mid-term election!

The Washington Post explains the seating catastrophe:

An intense argument has been raging ahead of Thursday’s health-care summit: Will President Obama and members of Congress sit around a U-shaped table or a round one?

Seat assignments are no small matter. The event is scheduled to be televised live for nearly six hours, and its outcome could be shaped by whoever gains command of the room — or at least appears to from the vantage point of the four television cameras placed in carefully negotiated spots.

To that end, White House officials have been tussling with Republicans, and the television networks, over the arrangement of the room at Blair House, across the street from the White House.

The initial plan called for Obama and Vice President Biden to sit at the head of a U-shaped table, with some lawmakers seated in front of them like an audience. But Republicans balked and the idea was scrapped. On Tuesday, a White House official said the participants will be seated at tables in a “hollow square setup” — an arrangement Republicans approved of, they said, because it would put them on even footing with the president.

[...]

“It’s like the Vietnam peace talks,” said longtime reporter Ann Compton of ABC News, whose network was part of the negotiations over the number and location of cameras. “They spent more time arguing about the shape of the table than anything else.”

Think Progress pointed out last night that Rep. John Boehner to show his manhood and to show how he has a grasp on republican control of all things far and wide has announced that the republicans will ‘crash the party’ this Thursday giving the impression to their neck drooling teabaggers that they were not invited in the first place. See? I’m telling you….the republicans are running out of oxygen and they’re just grasping at anything right now to save themselves from embarrassment!

I don’t know about you but I expect Boner to show up Thursday drunk with his tie pulled loose and his hair messed up! Should be fun to watch and I plan to.

Here’s a little tune for the republicans…

MEDIA MATTERS: “House Republicans have voted to cut over $1 TRILLION from Medicare since 1991″

You can read all about it HERE. Luckily, most of these measures failed or were tabled. If you think voting for a republican this year is a good thing and will save your Medicare or Social Security, think again. The republicans don’t give a shit about you. All they care about is their lobbyists who work hard for Wall Street, okay? They would love nothing more for Medicare and Social Security right now to be in the hands of the private sector, you know, no different than how the current health insurance companies are acting: RAISING YOUR RATES BY 30-40% A YEAR AND GIVING YOU LESS AND LESS ALL TO IMPRESS THE INVESTORS OF THESE COMPANIES!

The insurance companies have already said that they will raise American’s insurance rates by 40-50% whether health care reform passes or not. All they care about is the bottom line which is profit and they know a strong public option or single payer will be their deathblow, but do we honestly care about their well-being at this point after all they’ve put the average American through? They’ll find something else to insure (Hey! Maybe they can insure food like Foodinsurance.com advertises on Glenn Beck’s radio program!) or the lower level people will end up working for the government’s insurance option where they’ll find themselves actually doing good in people’s lives rather than finding any excuse not to pay for an American’s surgery etc! See? Could turn out to be a good thing.

The other evening I went to my state representative’s house to a Meet the Candidate party for Steve Rowe, who is one of many Democratic candidates running for governor this year and who I support. Steve is a great guy (he’s Maine’s former Attorney General! He’s a smart man!) and what he proposed here in Maine is something that I’ve been talking about for a long time myself. All communities in Maine and across America should have clinics (nothing fancy….just a clean place) set up for basic health care where it doesn’t cost you an arm and a leg to be treated. If you think you have the flu and don’t have insurance and need meds because you have a high temperature, wouldn’t it make sense to walk into a government run clinic/facility where you would pay (just throwing these numbers out but I would love it if it was in this range!) $5 for the antibiotics and $10 for the visit? I mean, really, at this point it costs at least $1-200 to be seen by a doctor and then the meds and other services that you need can triple or quadruple the amount (or more) and for those who are uninsured…paying out this kind of money can cause major setbacks all because they got sick! The government has a huge amount of buying power and they could easily use a small part of  the money we are paying monthly for the government’s public option to buy MRI machines and other pricey machines/medical devices at a much lower cost. That way….there would be no cost to the patient for using these machines! Does that make sense? On the grand scale of things, I see a great future in health care because of the government’s public option, don’t you?

Speaking of unAmerican deceitful republicans, the National Republican Congressional Committee mails it’s own Census form to their idiots

Here’s the top part of Rep. John Boner’s mailing to the carefully chosen republican leaders across America (click for larger view):

republicancensusform

(YOU CAN SEE THE WHOLE ‘CENSUS’ FORM BY CLICKING HERE — pdf warning)

Now, you and I know the difference between a real U.S. Census form and a fake one, but will the right wingers who get this form know the difference?

How many of these ‘republican leaders’ will believe they’ve filled out the real Census form and when the real one is mailed to them in March won’t fill out the form because they believed they already did? Seriously, the republicans in our country are the uneducated Americans! Though, we all feel bad for them for this reason….it will not be funny if they don’t complete their American duty of filling out the U.S. Census form because their leaders duped and deceived them. This tactic reminds me of my local Selectboard members where we had 3 slimeballs on it up until last week when we kicked two of the slimeballs off in two separate Recall Elections. A week before the Recall Elections, one of the slimeballs up on the chopping block decided to give his ‘resignation’ to dupe voters in my town that he’s gone so there’s no reason to vote him out. Of course, the other two slimeballs on the Board that night didn’t move to legally accept the resignation, so in essence, the Slimeball was not officially resigned, but was hoping no one would notice! Well, myself and others weren’t fooled by this asshole, so we used every avenue we could to get the word out to still vote the bastard out by checking ‘yes’ next to his name. IT WORKED. He’s officially gone now.

The U.S. Constitution demands a census of the nation be done every 10 years. It’s now obvious the right wingers of America continue to spit on the Constitution by using deceitful practices! What other techniques will the republican slimeballs resort to under John Boner’s direction?

President Obama to have the GOP meet this month to talk about health care reform

boehnermcconnelldontlikechange__whitenoiseinsanitydotcomphoto

(image created by KayInMaine of White Noise Insanity)

Since republicans will be in attendance at this meeting at the end of the month, we can call it a “Retard Summit”. See? Sounds about right.

I’ll tell you what the outcome of this summit will be: THE REPUBLICANS WILL PUT FORTH THEIR IDEAS, THEIR IDEAS WILL BE ACCEPTED AND ADDED INTO THE FINAL BILL, AND THEN THE REPUBLICANS WILL VOTE AGAINST THE FINAL BILL!  Maybe we should call it the “Asshole Summit”. Hey, either way the republicans won’t let us down. We’ll get to use their comments at this meeting against them for the mid-term elections, though! Should be fun seeing them in favor of change and then in the end voting against change and reform.

One thing is for sure, President Obama is a smart man!

VIDEO: Getting the gay out of your 5 year old child means beating him senseless and then running him over with your truck!

As I watched the following disturbing video this morning, I couldn’t help but think that this man is still angry at his mother for not accepting who he truly was and is still gay despite his mother severely abusing him to ‘get the gay out’:

Child abuse (mental/physical/sexual) originates in the religious right’s homes. This video proves it. This man is obviously living a lie on behalf of his deranged and abusive mother. Yes, he’s married, but he obviously isn’t a happy man!

President Obama spoke to the GOP Daycare today!

OMG! Too funny. Did you see President Obama’s question-and-answer session with the republicans of the House & Senate today? It was terrific! Every right wing talking point was brought up to President Obama and he shot them down with the truth! It was beautiful.

wambulance

Think Progress shows us how Fox News had to break away from the discussion because it was a little bit “combative” and was more like a lecture than anything (code for….we republicans don’t like hearing the truth! Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!):

Rep. Eric Cantor felt like President Obama had cut off his lemon drop sized testicles:I felt like he was admonishing Congress and certainly lecturing Republicans, accusing us of being an obstructionist party, when what it is we’re about is trying to focus on the issue, which is control the spending and let’s go about creating an environment for jobs.” — House Minority Whip Eric Cantor (R-VA)

The last question today was by right winger Rep. Jeb Hensarling about the budget. The right wingers must have thought that this question would trip President Obama up, but instead, it gave the President one more chance to SMASH THE RIGHT WING LIES AND RHETORIC (from Booman Tribune’s post….the actual question & answer is in the blue box in his post with the sidebar scroll):

President Obama: Now, look, let’s talk about the budget, once again, because I’ll go through it with you line by line.

The fact of the matter is, is that when we came into office, the deficit was $1.3 trillion. $1.3 trillion. So — so when you say that suddenly I’ve got a monthly budget that is higher than the annual — or a monthly deficit that’s higher than the annual deficit left by Republicans, that’s factually just not true, and you know it’s not true. And what is true is that we came in already with a $1.3 trillion deficit before I had passed any law. What is true is, we came in with $8 trillion worth of debt over the next decade.

Had nothing to do with anything that we had done. It had to do with the fact that in 2000, when there was a budget surplus of $200 billion, you had a Republican administration and a Republican Congress, and we had two tax cuts that weren’t paid for, you had a prescription drug plan — the biggest entitlement plan, by the way, in several decades — that was passed, without it being paid for, you had two wars that were done through supplementals, and then you had $3 trillion projected because of the lost revenue of this recession.

That’s $8 trillion. Now, we increased it by $1 trillion because of the spending that we had to make on the stimulus.

I am happy to have any independent factchecker out there take a look at your presentation versus mine in terms of the accuracy of what I just said.

Republicans are children. No doubt about it! I am so glad President Obama took the time today to speak to the right wing children to set them straight. Children are very impressionable and it’s obvious they are still ruled by lies, deceits, and distortions, so seeing President Obama gathering the children around the table for a little chat was completely needed!

I’m sure the children won’t sleep well tonight after all the truth they heard today. Hopefully President Obama has ordered some warm milk for them to settle their tummies and to relax them into sleep. Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww.

Have the right wingers come up with any solutions to our nation’s problems yet?

Well, there’s a loaded question and I’m sure the neocons will come running out of the woodwork today to tell us how to create jobs, how to fix our health care system, and how to be a good citizen now that Scott Brown is walking on water as you read this sentence! Seriously, all I hear is bitching, complaining, and whining from the right wingers. Do they have any answers? Not that I can see. Let me know if you hear of one. Maybe if we all rubbed and stroked Scott Brown’s business suit the answers would come easily and our nation will be saved? Huh. Maybe.

Here’s a copy and paste that is going around Facebook that ended up on mine yesterday after a friend posted it to her Facebook page:

Shame on you America: the only country where we have homeless without shelter, children going to bed without eating, elderly going without needed meds, and mentally ill without treatment – yet we have a benefit for the people of Haiti on 12 TV stations. 99% of people won’t have the guts to copy and repost this

It truly pissed me off! I created two posts after I saw it…

“I laugh when I read that some are against helping the Haitians when we Americans don’t help each other out, but if you mention a public insurance option for Americans to purchase with no preexisting conditions, these same people scream “no way!”. WTH….”

“Should we care that there were 5-6,000 Americans killed in the Haitian earthquake or should we just lump them in with those “dirty Haitians” who don’t deserve our help in getting their loved ones out of the rubble and much needed water and food?”

Some Americans truly are stupid and it makes me sad that a couple of them are my friends on Facebook! *shudder* Anyway, I spent some time last night pointing out to the dummies that Haiti is extremely poor, their government is pretty much gone, and we as Americans must help them. Hell, it was the Haitian government that asked us to bring our military down there because they need us! The friend who originally posted her diatribe ended up doing a post apologizing to all she offended. Damn straight she did! I honestly don’t understand where the heart of Americans have gone. Apparently “Americans are barbarians” has stuck with them after 8 years of George Bush! Gees.

Our nation had 8 years of blatant fascism under George Bush and we’ve had a one year reprieve thanks to President Obama being in the White House, but what is most disturbing is an Animal Farm Revolution is underway again where the animals are demanding to go back to those 8 years of fascism because they believe it’s better and they’ll be happier! How many times do we have to tell the imbeciles of our country that whenever we have a republican president in the White House our nation goes into a recession, our money ends up missing in huge clumps, and we end up miserable and suffering? Huh? How many times? Give me a Democratic president who is bonking an intern in the Oval Office while creating 22 million jobs or a president who knows that one false move to the financial sector could cause Wall Street to retaliate could hurt us and that it’s going to take years to fix the messes George Bush wrought on our nation (slow progress is better than no progress!)! I’ll take those two any day of the week but one day of a fascist right wing president running our nation? No thanks!!!!!!!! A detriment to the sanctity of our nation!!!!!!

How was your weekend? We’re recovering from head colds in my house. :-)

Is it bad that President Obama has kept some of George Bush’s people in their positions?

waristerrorwordwisewebphoto

Nope, and I’ll tell you why. By doing so, President Obama has basically cut off the testicles of the right wing of this country, because as Karl Rove proved recently…..blaming Michael Teiter of the National Counterterrorism Center for the failures of the Christmas Day bombing attempt, he’s basically blaming George Bush!

Oh man I love it. What is the right wing going to run on this year during the 2010 mid-term elections when President Obama has kept in some of George Bush’s key people from his 8 years of terror and has kept a portion of George Bush’s policies in place? Huh? Anyone know?

George Bush’s policies don’t work and they’re un-Constitutional!

For a political party who is always touting how big and strong their ‘toolbox’ is between their legs and how it’s only the white republican who can save our country from sheer disaster, I guess it’s President Obama who will be holding up your testicles at the end of this year for the country to see! I smell some victory do you? Bah hahahahahahahahaha!

After the mid-term election is over and even if the republicans pick up a few seats in the Senate, President Obama is going to do a 180 degree turn from what he’s done over the last year. He will try to push through some real change and you watch…..the right wing will continue to block and they may be successful. And guess what? President Obama will then use the right wing’s “We Hate Americans! Don’t Care If You’re Safe Or Not!” meme against them in 2012!
