Isn’t it nice to know that the republicans are still the ones we turn to to think ahead and prepare? Not. Spit. Sen. Susan Collins along with her anti-American cohorts decided a few months ago to take out the funding in the stimulus bill for combating a pandemic flu should it hit America in the future:
Makes you wonder if Susan Collins was in contact with Dick Cheney before the stimulus vote and he told her, “Hey Susie-Q, make sure to take out the pandemic flu part, because me and Rumsfeld are planning a huge one. Now would be the time to invest on the stock market in flu medicines & vaccines. Just a tip for ya! Now go get ‘em Susie! We’re gonna be rich once again!”? Wouldn’t surprise me.
The swine flu appears to be here, but that’s okay, Sen. Susan Collins wants us all to know that she did the right thing in making sure there was no money for this sort of pandemic flu.
Gottalaugh of The Political Carnival makes the point about how the republicans are doing everything in their power to block Governor Sebelius from becoming the HHS Secretary. Geeeee, now would the republicans want to do that? Oh wait! THEY LOVE TORTURE, ILLEGAL WARS, NUCLEAR BOMBS, CHEMICAL ATTACKS AND THEY ESPECIALLY LOVE BIOLOGICAL ATTACKS TOO!
