Why does the right wing of this country see this tiny little race in upstate New York as the road to the White House and a complete takeover of the country for America’s CEO’s and armed militia types? Because they’re dreaming!!! Yes, they have nothing to run on, so they’re turning to the right wing fringe to make it appear like the republican party is popular or something. So laughable!
Doug Hoffman is today’s Timothy McVeigh. Regarded by the right wing fringe as a complete hero to their cause.
If Hoffman wins today it will be fun to watch the right wing fringe shooting off their rifles like Saddam Hussein used to do, because really, that is the kind of group we’re talking about here: CONSERVATIVES. They’re dangerous to the freedom of our nation and we know that because we watched George Bush screw us over for 8 years while being applauded by these wingnuts. Any policy of George Bush’s that President Obama has kept in place has been met with disgust by these wingnuts. Why? Because they don’t like black people, Jews, Hispanics, women, and all the other colors of the rainbow President Obama has in his Cabinet. See? They only like big fat rich Monopoly Bankers who have an IQ of 26 or lower!
Remember, it was Ronald Reagan (still the Leader of the Conservative Movement) loved the Afghan Taliban….
Nothing has changed. Conservatives are now domestic and foreign terrorists in honor of Ronnie. Awwwwwwww, how cute is that?
The Maine election…
I voted a week ago Monday and voted “No On 1″ (same sex marriage question), because I completely believe all couples should be able to marry AND divorce. See? It’s not fair that only the heterosexual couples get to abuse their spouses, abuse their children, have extramarital affairs, fight over money, and then show us all how holy their marriage is to them by getting a big fat divorce to prove it! All should be able to participate in this social contract. Me? I’ll just continue to date. Marriage is indoctrination and not natural, but hey, all couples in love should be able to give marriage a whirl if they so choose. So Mainers….VOTE NO TODAY TO PUT THE BIGOTS IN THEIR PLACE! You’ll give them a heart attack which surely will be fun to watch from the sidelines. 
I also voted YES on the Marijuana Question too. Of course Mainers should have more access to medical marijuana across our state and the state should increase the list of illnesses/diseases for those patients who need this medicine. Duh.

As an adopted person myself who was born in the spring of 1968, I’ve often wondered if one of my birth parents or both went to Woodstock later on in 1969. When you’re adopted you fantasize about things like that. Of course, I have no way of knowing, but since they were both living in Massachusetts at the time, they could have very well gone. Lots of people have said they were there, but I’ve only known one person in my lifetime who did go and who has the proof. He has his very worn out ticket framed in the office in his house alongside a picture of him sporting long hair and a bandanna looking out over the ocean off the coast of Falmouth, Maine where he grew up. That’s how he looked when he was at Woodstock. Not one picture exists of him at Woodstock, but he was definitely there just by looking at his ticket which most likely spent the whole weekend in his back pocket! He currently owns a bar/billiard supply company here in Maine and when you ask him about his time at Woodstock, he just shakes his head and smiles. Hey, when you’re high on drugs and enjoying yourself, sometimes you don’t remember much!
Anyway, it’s been 40 years now since a half million young people decided to travel to a farm in upstate New York for some peace and love. The Woodstock Reunion Festival is now underway, but it’s nothing like the original. Will there ever be a Woodstock again? I doubt it. Woodstock was an example of how grassroots activism works: Word of mouth from the bottom up. Americans were jonesing for some peace & love back then thanks to the Vietnam war which was killing their friends and relatives. Woodstock was a good diversion from it all for sure.

Can she be any tackier? Maybe she thinks of herself as the Glittering Big Toe? Hey, could be. And what’s up with those shoes? Yuck! Ugliest shoes I’ve ever seen. They’re too small too. Her whole outfit she wore in New York recently is screaming out, “Feel sorry for me! Give me money for a new outfit please!”. Pathetic. Maybe she wants to be able to say, “I’m a rags to riches story!” for her new book by wearing rags before she signs her multi-million dollar book deal?

Anyway, John Kerry when he was running for the presidency in 2004 said the only way to really catch the terrorists is to set up a sting no different than the police would do to catch a drug dealer, prostitute, or John. Yep, just hold the carrot out far enough and the rabbit criminals will come running…
And they did. In New York yesterday. Four would-be-terrorist-bombers bought a fake surface-to-air-missile from an FBI agent and then got themselves arrested after being put under surveillance…

NEW YORK (CNN) — Four men arrested for an alleged plot to bomb a New York synagogue and Jewish community center are expected to appear in federal court Thursday, the U.S. Attorney’s office said.
New York police arrive at the synagogue that was allegedly targeted. The men also wanted to use surface-to-air missiles to fire at U.S. military planes, according to a criminal complaint filed in White Plains, New York.

The four men began meeting with the informant at a home equipped with concealed video and audio equipment, plotting to bomb the synagogue and Jewish community center, the statement said.

“While the weapons provided to the defendants by the cooperating witness were fake, the defendants thought they were absolutely real,” acting U.S. Attorney Lev L. Dassin said in the statement.
“The bombs had been made by FBI technicians,” said Raymond Kelly, New York City police commissioner. “They were totally inert. no one was ever at risk or in danger of being injured.”
Huh. John Kerry a liberal was right and now we know his idea works! Of course, we can’t give full credit to Kerry because the FBI and our police have used this technique for a long time. What I find fascinating is…the neocons of America laughed at John Kerry years ago when he suggested such a thing, because according to the neocons, the best way to resolve anything is to bomb & kill and then ask questions later! Idiots as usual.

…..and now Beverly is dead herself after the plane she was on crashed in Buffalo, New York last night. Interesting….she meets with President Obama in the White House a week ago to talk about closing down the prison in Guantanamo along with others and was a voice for those 9/11 victim’s family members who felt the U.S. government failed us on that day….and now she’s dead? Just a mere coincidence?
Another interesting person on-board Continental Flight 3407 was Alison Des Forges who was a human rights activist with her focus mainly on Rwanda. She was a thorn in everyone’s side who said (think Bush Regime) their country should not ratify the International Criminal Court, so as, to protect their military men & women from being held responsible for the war crimes they’ve committed.
Soooooo, did ice on the plane’s wing bring down the plane or was the plane sabotaged, since some witnesses are saying the plane was aglow (on fire) before it hit the ground?
