A defense contractor. A defense contractor! Gees, who didn’t see that one coming? As soon as Sarah Palin realized the winning bid before this one came from one of her critics, well of course the Military Industrial Complex came to her defense to protect her!

Unfreakingbelievable.

The virtual Internet competition for a real dinner with the former governor of Alaska and 2008 Republican candidate for vice president turned out not to be priceless, but rather closed at $63,500, the winning bid in an eBay auction to benefit a wounded veterans’ charity, the auction closing Friday.

And a potentially awkward charity dinner at that was averted when Palin critic Joe McGinnis was outbid by Palin fan Cathy Maples of Huntsville, Ala., a defense contracting company owner who won the auction, saying she not only fully supports the military men and women fighting for the nation, but also is a “big advocate” for Palin, who resigned as governor over the summer and is hard at work on a book that should be worth a few million dollars and a Facebook page claiming more than 875,000 followers, the list swelling since she quit her office.

“We eat, therefore we hunt,” Palin has said.

Seems to me the ‘big advocates’ for our soliders (Sarah & Cathy) are the ones who don’t care if our soldiers are killed in an illegal occupation of a sovereign nation. In fact, without our soldiers dying in needless wars, what would Sarah & Cathy have to live for. So nice of them to use the charity money for our soldiers who have had their legs & genitals blown off in that illegal occupation that their Fuhrer Bushitler started on a big fat lie! Of course, big fat lies coming out of the mouths of republicans is applauded by people like Sarah & Cathy. Disgusting.

I would love to know the name of Cathy Maples’ defense contracting company, because right now there are thousands of them in Alabama. This state receives a huge amount of federal money in defense contracts. I wonder if Dick Cheney is somehow connected to Maples and her company? Hey, now that Sarah Palin is part of William Kristol’s new PNAC, it wouldn’t surprise me if ole Dickey called Cathy and alerted her to the fact that a critic of Sarah Palins is the winning bid and to get over to that eBay page to bid him out!

What will the right wing cannibals eat at dinner? Can’t wait to hear what is on the menu. Something tells me it will be outrageous!
