Media On Palin’s ‘Banned List’ Ejected From Going Rogue Event

Sarah Palin’s war on the media continues?

The woman who once called on the press to “quit makin’ things up” took it a step further yesterday by allegedly banning four members of the media from a book event in Wasilla, Alaska.

On a four-person “banned list” — yes, that term was actually used by police — were a blogger, a videographer, a local radio host, and another person who hasn’t been identified.

Damn she can’t even allow an HONEST debate, she needs to HIDE from the truth and reality in her bizzaro world view where she is great not the worst governor ever and champion quitter of Alaska politics.

No wonder she cuts and runs from so much, she can’t stand an open and honest showing of her limitations, which is why she tries to hide from most of the people so much of the time keeping only the tea baggin’ kool aid junkies around her.

Wanna bet she screeches how mean the press is again after SHE allowed soviet style censorship in the state she used to run?

Not only does she lie blatantly most of the time, she now pisses on the graves of the brave Americans who died fighting for the US Constitution and a free and open press which the US Constitution guarantees,

What a fraud, how can anybody still be fooled by her open hypocrisy?

Democratic leaders in D.C. weren’t the only legislators frustrated by Republican party efforts to block health care reform last week. After watching his party promise to stonewall any Democratic reform efforts, Maine state Rep. Jim Campbell decided it was time to drop the (R) from his title.

I have been very frustrated with the Republican Party in Maine, and nationally, for their failure to address the health care crisis in a meaningful way. Nobody has all the answers, but the Republican Party has none when it comes to health care reform.

Well, well, well, after all their tea baggin’ lunacy, and assorted stupidity, they end up losing another person willing to be associated with them.

The party of NO ideas, NO morality, NO real concern for the middle class, seems to be the party of stupidity, cluelessness and ignorant racists.

Damn, they think they are gonna return to power while losing more and more people,

Wow is this thing great! I use it as a “mini-bar” when the friends and I go out to the bars. I can quickly fix multiple shots of tequila for myself and the friends as we drive from one bar to the next. We also discovered that if you place a pillow on top of it and turn on the cruise control you can catch quick naps on the interstate. If you swerve to the left or right the rumble strips on the road wake you up in plenty of time before you get into trouble. I can now take longer trips without being tired!

The comments section alone should give  the brain dead idiots who decided this was what American drivers really need in their daily commute ….. a device to set up numerous distractions, was a lousy idea.

My copilot and I both used these during our “daily grind” transcontinental flights from San Diego to Minneapolis. We had to modify them a bit to fit snug against the instrument panels (when we bought them we didn’t realize the planes we fly don’t have steering wheels!), but in the end it did the job. With our laptops firmly in place we were able to focus our attention on what really mattered, participating in raids with our WoW clan. During our last flight we were so immersed in trying to take down Eranikus that we overshot Minneapolis by a full hour and a half before some annoying flight attendant interrupted us, babbling something about “FAA and F16 fighters.”

We’ll definitely use this product again at our next gig, whatever and whenever that happens to be…

Judge tosses birther suit, threatens lawyer with sanctions

A federal judge in Georgia has threatened Orly Taitz, de facto leader of the birther movement, with sanctions if she ever brings another “frivolous” case before him, news reports say.

Judge Clay Land of the US District Court in Columbus, Georgia, threw out a case brought by US Army Captain Connie Rhodes, who earlier this month sued for the right to refuse deployment orders to Iraq, on the argument that the commander-in-chief of the armed forces, President Barack Obama, was not born in the United States and is therefore not the legitimate head of the army.

According to the Columbus Ledger-Enquirer, Judge Clay stated in his ruling that the plaintiff “has presented no credible evidence and has made no reliable factual allegations to support her unsubstantiated, conclusory allegations and conjecture that President Obama is ineligible to serve as president of the United States.”

The ruling continues: “Instead, she uses her complaint as a platform for spouting political rhetoric, such as her claims that the president is ‘an illegal usurper, an unlawful pretender, [and] an unqualified imposter.’”

As WTVM-TV in Columbus reported, the judge also stated that Rhodes’ attorney, birther leader Orly Taitz, “will be subject to counsel sanctions for bringing any future actions in his court which are similarly frivolous.”

The judge’s ruling represents a significant legal defeat for Taitz and the birther movement, which received a great deal of attention from the media this summer. Media watchdog groups specifically targeted CNN’s Lou Dobbs, who gave the discredited theory that Obama was not born in the United States a disproportionate amount of coverage, according to some observers.

Taitz was behind this summer’s release of a purported “Kenyan birth certificate” for President Obama, which was dated two years after the president’s 1961 birth date, and contradicted Hawaiian officials’ long-standing insistence that the president’s Hawaiian birth certificate is legitimate.

Judge Clay ruled that that document, which evidently formed the backbone of the plaintiff’s case, was illegitimate because Taitz’s organization paid money to acquire it, making it tantamount to bribery.

Newt Gingrich Accidentally Names Porn Exec ‘Entrepreneur Of The Year’

Newt Gingrich’s 527 group sent a letter to porn exec Allison Vivas Wednesday telling her she’d won their “Entrepreneur of the Year” award and inviting her to an “intimate event” with Gingrich.

“I’m honored, and more than a little surprised, to receive this prestigious award,” Vivas said today in a cheeky press release. <>”Rest assured, I’ll take the opportunity to inform Mr. Gingrich of some of the major challenges facing the adult entertainment industry in the current market .., from obscenity prosecutions to content piracy, I’ll make sure he walks away from that dinner educated about the realities of the online porn market.”

The statement made the rounds, and now Media Matters reports that the group’s spokesman sent a short statement clearing things up: “We have notified Allison Vivas that the notice she received was sent by mistake. We regret the error.”

The spokesman, Dan Kotman, did not immediately return TPM’s request for comment.

Vivas, president of adult entertainment studio Pink Visual, posted the letter on her web site.

“You’ll dine privately with Newt,” it reads. A handwritten addendum reads, “Newt is looking forward to finally meeting you face to face — and get your thoughts on cap and trade and Obama’s tax policy.”

The award itself includes a signed replica of Gingrich’s gavel he used as Speaker of the House. (See a picture of the award, which Vivas says the group sent to her.)

Vivas said in her release that the gavel would “make for a pretty cool prop for a ‘Couples Seduce Teens’ episode.”

Seems like widdle newty used the wrong little black book when looking for people to hand out his fake awards, and looking for his very own tea baggers.
