Now, you and I know the difference between a real U.S. Census form and a fake one, but will the right wingers who get this form know the difference?
How many of these ‘republican leaders’ will believe they’ve filled out the real Census form and when the real one is mailed to them in March won’t fill out the form because they believed they already did? Seriously, the republicans in our country are the uneducated Americans! Though, we all feel bad for them for this reason….it will not be funny if they don’t complete their American duty of filling out the U.S. Census form because their leaders duped and deceived them. This tactic reminds me of my local Selectboard members where we had 3 slimeballs on it up until last week when we kicked two of the slimeballs off in two separate Recall Elections. A week before the Recall Elections, one of the slimeballs up on the chopping block decided to give his ‘resignation’ to dupe voters in my town that he’s gone so there’s no reason to vote him out. Of course, the other two slimeballs on the Board that night didn’t move to legally accept the resignation, so in essence, the Slimeball was not officially resigned, but was hoping no one would notice! Well, myself and others weren’t fooled by this asshole, so we used every avenue we could to get the word out to still vote the bastard out by checking ‘yes’ next to his name. IT WORKED. He’s officially gone now.

On a four-person “banned list” — yes, that term was actually used by police — were a blogger, a videographer, a local radio host, and another person who hasn’t been identified.
Damn she can’t even allow an HONEST debate, she needs to HIDE from the truth and reality in her bizzaro world view where she is great not the worst governor ever and champion quitter of Alaska politics.

In 2000 when the Supreme Court decided to appoint Bush president (by a 5 to 4 decision), there was consternation on the left. Questions about the shenanigans and the way Katherine Harris violated the rules before and after the election and how the whole system was short circuited to prevent a complete vote count.
No one questioned Bush’s birth, or religion, or patriotism, attacked his family, called for his impeachment in 2000, or attacked his children; especially democratic congress critters .. or most mainstream progressive commentators.
When President Bush was in office, there were calls for his impeachment. It was discussed, debated, reported by the MSM, and even polled about. Some calls came as early as 2003 when he was planning his invasion of Iraq, for an illegal war.

People protested the War, that is to be expected. No national supposed news organization was the central moving agent for those protests (unlike the astroturf teabagging movement).
Nor did progressive protesters refuse to permit citizens from expressing their concerns to their elected representatives like the tea baggers did in Aug 2009.
Other calls came during the revelations of illegal wiretapping after 2005.
No one suggested a coup, because Bush was ignoring the US Constitution.(like a newsmax about president Obama column has done recently)
Some state actions actually did result;
On March 21, 2006 the New Mexico Democratic Party, at a convention in Albuquerque, adopted a plank to their platform saying “the Democratic Party of New Mexico supports the impeachment of George Bush and his lawful removal from office.”
On March 24, 2007, the Vermont Democratic State Committee voted to support JRH 15, a state legislative resolution supporting impeachment, calling for its passage as “appropriate action.”
On April 28, 2007, the California Democratic Convention passed a resolution for impeachment.
At the federal level action was also taken
On June 16, 2005 Rep. John Conyers (D-MI) assembled an unofficial meeting to discuss the Downing Street memo and to consider grounds for impeachment. Conyers filed a resolution on December 18, 2005 to create an investigative committee to consider impeachment. His resolution gained 38 co-sponsors before it expired at the end of the 109th Congress.
On June 9, 2008, Representative Dennis Kucinich (D-Ohio), introduced a resolution, H.Res. 1258, to impeach president George W. Bush, which included 35 counts in the articles of impeachment. At the end of the evening on June 10, Kucinich offered a motion to refer HRes 1258 to the House Judiciary Committee. On June 11, the House voted 251-166 to send the resolution to the Committee.
Each of these actions were totally with in the law,
That is how the progressive part of our political structure tried to deal with what they foresaw as illegal activity by the President. They wanted Bush impeached, legally, by the rules of the US Constitution.
In contrast here is what we see from the reich wing in this country after Obama wins an election with out the hijinks in Florida circa 2000.

Congressman Jerry Nadler D-NY believes it was definitely UNCONSTITUTIONAL to defund ACORN today.

Congressman Jerrold Nadler, D-NY, the chairman of the Judiciary Subcommittee on the Constitution, Civil Rights and Civil Liberties, denounced a Republican amendment adopted by the House of Representatives Thursday to deny all federal funds to the advocacy group the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now (ACORN) as blatantly unconstitutional and a threat to unpopular organizations everywhere.

Nadler said the Republican initiative, the Defund ACORN Act, backed by GOP House leader John Boehner, singles out a specific organization by name for exclusion from participating in any federal program, in direct violation of the Constitution’s prohibition against Bills of Attainder.
“Today’s Republican amendment is in blatant violation of the Constitution’s prohibition against Bills of Attainder,” Nadler said. “Congress must not be in the business of punishing individual organizations or people without trial, and that’s what this amendment does. Whatever one may think of an organization, the Constitution’s clear ban on Bills of Attainder is there for the protection of all of our liberties.”
The Supreme Court, in decisions dating back to the Civil War era, has held that the Constitution prohibits all legislative acts, “no matter what their form, that apply either to named individuals or to easily ascertainable members of a group in such a way as to inflict punishment on them without a judicial trial….”
We all know how the republicans don’t give a flying rats ass about the laws in our country, they don’t care to read them, and they don’t care to know them, but it’s just as bad to realize that most of the fucking Democrats voted in favor of doing this today. Torturing Iraqis and others helped to recruit new members of al-Qaida. McCain said he got this information from an al-Qaida operative. I don’t care where he got the information, because we all know whoever is doing the torturing is the one who is going to be the target! If America’s police officers tortured every person who came through their doors, do you think Americans would respect the police like we do? Nope! Anyway, Dick Cheney never comes out of his cave these days unless someone mentions his illegal torture program, you know, the program that his Justice Department rewrote & redefined Constitutional and International laws so they could break them! Yes, that’s right. Torture on prisoners is illegal and has been for decades now, but the Bush Regime’s Attorney General, Alberto Gonzales, decided to ignore the law and instead defined the meaning of these laws as meaning they could torture anyone they felt like. Dick Cheney can’t believe that Obama’s Attorney General, Eric Holder, is now following Constitutional Law by hiring a special prosecutor to look into what Cheney and others did!
Dick Cheney has stated over and over torture was a valuable technique in getting the information about future attacks on our nation. He says this information was used to thwart many attacks, but yet, Khalid Sheik Mohammad named names & places and I don’t remember one person being arrested across the planet who was conspiring to attack us! Do you remember arrests being made? I mean, really, KSM was caught as the ‘mastermind of 9/11′, so honestly his capture alone was enough to protect us, but if he truly did name other individuals who were at the moment planning on attacking America, then don’t you think the arrests of these individuals would be known? Well, Cheney continues to CHERRY PICK his own “evidence” ‘to show’ he is completely innocent!
Here’s what was written in 2005 under the Bush Regime about the ‘arrests made’:
“You have informed us that the interrogation of KSM—once enhanced techniques were employed—led to the discovery of a KSM plot, the ‘Second Wave,’ ‘to use East Asian operatives to crash a hijacked airliner into’ a building in Los Angeles,” says the memo.
“You have informed us that information obtained from KSM also led to the capture of Riduan bin Isomuddin, better known as Hambali, and the discover of the Guraba Cell, a 17-member Jemaah Islamiyah cell tasked with executing the ‘Second Wave,’” reads the memo. “More specifically, we understand that KSM admitted that he had [redaction] large sum of money to an al Qaeda associate [redaction] … Khan subsequently identified the associate (Zubair), who was then captured. Zubair, in turn, provided information that led to the arrest of Hambali. The information acquired from these captures allowed CIA interrogators to pose more specific questions to KSM, which led the CIA to Hambali’s brother, al Hadi. Using information obtained from multiple sources, al-Hadi was captured, and he subsequently identified the Garuba cell. With the aid of this additional information, interrogations of Hambali confirmed much of what was learned from KSM.”
We’re supposed to consider this “fact” according to Dick Cheney and his buddies at the CIA.
No one died from being waterboarded as KSM was, but two prisoners did die in America’s custody!
By the way, Cheney and his CIA said they captured KSM in March of 2003, but yet, on the following Bush White House memo they claim they thwarted an attack by KSM in 2002:

If Dick Cheney, George Bush, and their CIA broke up a plot in 2002 by KSM, then how come they didn’t arrest him then? Seriously, if you’re an American FBI agent and you’ve got the bad guys in your sight…..you arrest them before they can attack or proceed in their crime! Right? Is something not adding up here? Cheney has more explaining to do! How do you thwart an attack without any evidence you did? No arrests, no physical evidence, but yet, they waited months to capture KSM! I thought they had him in their sights and thwarted an attack? And…..who was tortured to get the information that KSM was planning this 2002 attack? Huh. I bet Dick Cheney will just make up a name!
THE BOTTOM LINE: Cheney, Bush, and others broke Constitutional and International laws and now they’re working very hard to cover their asses. Cheney must be feeling the hot breath of Holder on his neck! Good. The war criminal should be in prison!

The 9/12 morons think if 9,000 people out of 10,000 showed up to a presidential event packing heat, we can trust the intentions of those 9,000 people to not shoot each other or to not assassinate our current great President! Huh? A dismantling? You mean…..the country has allowed a man with black blood in his veins to live in the White House, Katy? This kind of ‘white power dismantling’ that has gotten you all riled? It’s enraged Glenn Beck, Sean Hannity, Neal Bortz, Mike Gallagher, and others too, though, they never come right out and say it either. It’s really about that black man being in a high position! I mean, really, if she really was pissed about health care and that’s why she went to a health care reform town hall meeting for the first time in her life, then why was she concerned about what the Forefathers created then? Where the hell has she been hearing that kind of rhetoric? Oh wait! I know! Glenn Beck (her Savior, amen) and her new bestest buddy in the whole entire world….Sean Hannity! We can tell Katy didn’t just come up with this on her own. She had to be spending lots of time listening to Glenn Beck especially, because honestly, who was the man she ‘talked to’ at 4:41am in the morning after leaving her husband in bed? Who is important enough to Katy to walk across her house in her nightie to email a man who isn’t her husband? Oh wait! The Brainwasher….Glenn Beck!!!!
Katy, our Forefathers put nothing in the Constitution about freeing the slaves, giving women equal rights, giving women and blacks voting rights, or even allowing black people to be considered a whole human being, but yet, they’re in there now. But you know what, Katy? There’s nothing in the Constitution about health care either, but there are many of us who see health care as a human right (even right winger Joe Scarborough agrees health care reform is not a government takeover!)and not the right of only those who can afford it, and we will fight for this right as those before us fought for equal rights for others. See? You ninnies are the ones on the wrong side as usual. You’re fighting against equal rights. You’re saying you want to go back to the good ole days when only white men had all the rights and health care was for those who couldn’t afford a doctor as…..drinking whiskey and biting down on leather as your neighbor sawed your leg off!

During the 8 years of George Bush, we had Georgie spying on Americans in FEBRUARY 2001 (well before 9/11/01 happened!), we had him and his Thugs torturing people in secret CIA prisons across the planet (now we’re finding out there are 10 more people who died in our custody after we tortured them to death!) after he had his underlings redefine the laws for him so he could, and after spending TRILLIONS on the Iraq occupation, the Afghan war, and the tax cuts for the uber wealthy for years (Georgie didn’t want the American people to know how much he was spending so he did them as an EMERGENCY SUPPLEMENTAL!)…..$550 BILLION was stolen out of the money markets in September 2008 and Georgie didn’t investigate, but instead said, “bailout the banks please!”. I’d like to know the date of his move to this state. What was the purpose of the move? Was it to start a new life? A new job? Was he following a woman here who he was madly in love with? Or was he hoping to get an open shot of the President but then chickened out? I don’t know the answer but Andrea Mitchell of MSNBC reported the other day that William left the premises before President Obama arrived. He said he was there only to make a statement about the 2nd amendment. Oh, but he didn’t mention that he’s part of a fringe group who fear everyone who isn’t white! And if we were to give them some LSD to get to the bottom of what they’re really feeling, I bet they would say, “Our Founding Fathers wanted a white nation run by white Christian men”!!!! I’ll never forget a few years back when a guy showed up at the Yarmouth Clam Festival with a loaded gun on his hip. Everyone who saw the gun complained, because as they looked around the place, they saw nothing but families with young children! Nowadays, you don’t know what the intent of anyone is. They can say, “I’ve got a gun on my hip because I have a right to!”. Fair enough, but what if two seconds later he sees his ex-wife with a new man and decides to kill the guy? Huh? I mean, really, we’re fine with people owning guns, but we’re not fine with everyone who has a gun to be walking around in public with it on their person in full view, because it makes some of us uneasy. We don’t know or can predict your intention. That’s all.
I heard a guy say today on the news radio in response to Kostic bringing a gun to President Obama’s town hall meeting….that having a gun on your hip or thigh makes it so no one around you will speak their mind. In other words, people act differently around a gun-toter and they are less apt to speak truth to power to the gun freak. Well, well, well, NOW WE’RE GETTING SOMEWHERE! This is the real reason why conservatives join these extremist fringe groups: CONTROL. Because they have none. Their views & ideologies are so far out into space and normal rational people can’t relate to these individuals that when their idiocy is pointed out to them, it makes them want to lash out! What I love most about President Obama is he consistently leaves the door open just far enough so he can slam the door on the right wing’s head. Recently he gave a statement concerning the CIA officers who tortured prisoners that they will not be prosecuted. He left the door open by not saying he would give immunity to those who defined torture or who wrote the torture policies! Woohoo! And you know what that means? I have a sneaking suspicion President Obama is listening to us. He wants to know if he should go ahead and prosecute. Well Mr. President…..I say YES! Either have AG Holder start the process or hire a Special Prosecutor to get the job done.

Here’s the first crime committed by George Bush and others…
In 2001, George Bush and his cohorts knew that 9/11/01 was coming and ole George prepared for it, because this is why he refused to be a signatory to the International Criminal Court (ICC) early on. As noted in John Yoo’s memo dated August 1, 2002, he’s saying it’s very difficult to find fault with the Bush Regime for torturing, because Bush did not sign our country’s name to the ICC, so therefore, it was an anything goes without prosecution policy for years….
