QUOTE OF THE DAY:

GLENN BECK AT CPAC 2010: ‘Hello, my name is the Republican Party, and I’ve got a problem. I’m addicted to spending and big government…I’m addicted to spending and I just don’t want to spend today.’ (CLICK HERE FOR LINK TO QUOTE)

"If by a “Liberal” they mean someone who looks ahead and not behind, someone who welcomes new ideas without rigid reactions, someone who cares about the welfare of the people — their health, their housing, their schools, their jobs, their civil rights, and their civil liberties — someone who believes we can break through the stalemate and suspicions that grip us in our policies abroad, if that is what they mean by a “Liberal,” then I’m proud to say I’m a “Liberal.” ~ John F. The twit believes in censorship , who’d a thunk it?

Yep the stupid quitting Wasilla hillbilly herself is OK with censoring the press;

Media On Palin’s ‘Banned List’ Ejected From Going Rogue Event

Sarah Palin’s war on the media continues?

The woman who once called on the press to “quit makin’ things up” took it a step further yesterday by allegedly banning four members of the media from a book event in Wasilla, Alaska.

On a four-person “banned list” — yes, that term was actually used by police — were a blogger, a videographer, a local radio host, and another person who hasn’t been identified.

Damn she can’t even allow an HONEST debate, she needs to HIDE from the truth and reality in her bizzaro world view where she is great not the worst governor ever and champion quitter of Alaska politics.

No wonder she cuts and runs from so much, she can’t stand an open and honest showing of her limitations, which is why she tries to hide from most of the people so much of the time keeping only the tea baggin’ kool aid junkies around her.

Wanna bet she screeches how mean the press is again after SHE allowed soviet style censorship in the state she used to run?

Not only does she lie blatantly most of the time, she now pisses on the graves of the brave Americans who died fighting for the US Constitution and a free and open press which the US Constitution guarantees,

What a fraud, how can anybody still be fooled by her open hypocrisy?

Oh right they thought the dry drunk moron was a great president didn’t they?

Truths denied …… truths revealed.

Interesting,

The guy the reich wing trumpeted to deny this story as false;

Shock Troops

Master Sergeant John Hatley, First Sergeant for Company A, First Battalion, First Infantry Division, during it’s deployment in Iraq.

…. was convicted two days ago by a military Courts-Martial in Germany of executing four handcuffed, blindfolded Iraqi men by shooting them in the backs of their heads.

In effect senior officers of the United States Army said he was not what he portrayed himself to be during the orchestrated reich wing media attack on the Beauchamp article. Instead he was criminal guilty of murder, and sentenced him to life in prison. sort of undercuts his statements don’t ya think?

In other words what was written by Private Beauchamp did have merit because the people he wrote about especially senior enlisted have been found guilty. The people the reich wing spinmeisters relied on sort of have been convicted of crimes like Beauchamp wrote about.

Besides Hadley two others have Beauchamp served with also been imprisoned for the crimes they committed.

Sgt. Michael Leahy Jr., 28, the medic for the unit Hadley was in, was found of premeditated murder in February and sentenced him to life in prison.

On March 30, Sgt. First Class Joseph P. Mayo, 27, pleaded guilty to murder and received a 35-year sentence.

Sort of makes you wonder why the reich-wing media worked so hard to deny the truth the US Army just confirmed?

Why not actually find out what the truth actually is before going all rabid over somebody who in the end simply reported what he saw?

This sorta parallels the torture revelations, the reich wing said we never tortured until the truth came out, now they wanna say so what, like committing crimes is no big deal.

I wonder why they think that?

The Bush Regime just launched a couple missiles into Somalia…

……TO GET THE TERRORISTS?

(the last outrage by the US in Somalia)

Oh please! Gawd I hate these assholes. Let me guess….when the fire is out and the rubble is cleared they’ll find an innocent family who was having lunch together. Gawd damn them!

From Reuters:

KISMAYU, Somalia (Reuters) – Two U.S. missiles hit a house in southern Somalia on Monday, according to local officials, in a strike Washington said was directed at “known terrorists”.
>
It was the fourth U.S. air strike in 14 months on Somalia, where Washington believes local Islamist insurgents are giving shelter to wanted al Qaeda figures.
>
“We launched a deliberate strike against a suspected bed-down of known terrorists,” a senior U.S. official, who declined to be named, told Reuters in Washington.

Warmongering assholes.

Cue the hospital bed! George Bush is getting testy!

Georgie got a little testy yesterday in his press conference (emphasis mine):

Q You can get the Congress to protect telecom companies from lawsuits, but then there’s no recourse for Americans who feel that they’ve been caught up in this. I know it’s not intended to spy on Americans, but in the collection process, information about everybody gets swept up and then it gets sorted. So if Americans don’t have any recourse, are you just telling them, when it comes to their privacy, to suck it up?
>
THE PRESIDENT: I wouldn’t put it that way, if I were you, in public. Well, you’ve been long been long enough to — anyway, yes, I — look, there’s — people who analyze the program fully understand that America’s civil liberties are well protected. There is a constant check to make sure that our civil liberties of our citizens aren’t — you know, are treated with respect. And that’s what I want, and that’s what most — all Americans want.

Yep. Ole Georgie slipped up and told the American people that there is a constant check on HIS CIVIL LIBERTIES.

Then ole Georgie didn’t like Elaine pointing out this out to him…

Q Mr. President, you’ve stressed over and over in recent days particularly the importance of FISA reform to help keep America safe, and yet you have not yet filled a key national security post. Fran Townsend announced her resignation months ago, in November. What is the delay there, and what are Americans to make of that delay? Is America less safe because of it?
>
THE PRESIDENT: We got a fine man named Joel Bagnal working that office right now. He’s a professional. I trust his judgment. He’s a real good guy. And no, they shouldn’t worry about Joel. He knows what he’s doing.
>
John.
>
Q But, sir, the American –
>
THE PRESIDENT: John.
>
Q The Homeland Security Advisor is a key post. What’s taking so long?
>
THE PRESIDENT: Joel Bagnal has occupied the position, Elaine. He’s doing the job, and I’ve got confidence in him. And so should the American people have confidence in him. He’s a fine professional. He knows what he’s doing. And I’m very comfortable in saying, on your cameras, that our staff in the White House, led by Joel Bagnal, knows what they’re doing when it comes to advising the President on matters of homeland security.

Basically Georgie was telling us we should worry with Bagnal in charge!

And then Georgie made a threat to Barack Obama to basically mind his own business…

Q Mr. President, thank you. I want to bring you back to Senator Obama’s comment on Iraq. Do you believe that his comment was naive?
>
THE PRESIDENT: I believe Senator Obama better stay focused on his campaign with Senator Clinton, neither of whom has secured their party’s nominee yet — nomination yet. And my party’s nomination hasn’t been decided yet either. And so there will be ample time to discuss whoever their candidate — the positions of whoever their candidate is.
>
Nice try, Sheryl. Would you like to try another tact, another question?

Huh. Ole Georgie seems to know that his party hasn’t chosen their candidate either! Well, that’s interesting since McCain has most of the delegates right now. Hmmmmm…are the republicans conspiring behind the scenes? I think so. I bet Johnny will be pushed out by them and they’ll bring in Newt Gingrich and/or Jebby Bush. Guaranteed! Assholes.

Oh yes, and then there was the statement that gas could be heading to $4/gallon and America’s Oil Maggot acted like he hadn’t heard that. Oh please! Spare us your “ignorance”, ya asshole!

Q What’s your advice to the average American who is hurting now, facing the prospect of $4 a gallon gasoline, a lot of people facing –
>
THE PRESIDENT: Wait, what did you just say? You’re predicting $4 a gallon gasoline?
>
Q A number of analysts are predicting –
>
THE PRESIDENT: Oh, yeah?
>
Q — $4 a gallon gasoline this spring when they reformulate.
>
THE PRESIDENT: That’s interesting. I hadn’t heard that.
>
Q Yes, sir.
>
THE PRESIDENT: Yes. I know it’s high now.

Little testy again, Mr. President? Should we cue the hospital bed now for ya? And what was his answer for average Americans to do about gas going up to $4/gallon? Oh that’s right! Permanent tax cuts! Oh yes, that’s worked so well over the years during a time of war. We’re all walking around with our pockets full of cash! Asshole he is…

THE PRESIDENT: Permanent tax — keep the tax cuts permanent, for starters. There’s a lot of economic uncertainty. You just said that. You just said the price of gasoline may be up to $4 a gallon — or some expert told you that — and that creates a lot of uncertainty if you’re out there wondering whether or not — you know, what your life is going to be like and you’re looking at $4 a gallon, that’s uncertain. And when you couple with the idea that taxes may be going up in a couple of years, that’s double uncertainty. And therefore one way to deal with uncertainty is for Congress to make the tax cuts permanent.

And here’s the last testy moment of Georgie’s press conference from yesterday where he wouldn’t divulge if foreigners (you know, the terrorist Saudi Royals who love his ass! Or the terrorists currently living in Pakistan and/or Dubai!) would be able to contribute anonymously to his presidential library…

Q Thank you, sir. Now that you’ve found a location for your presidential library, you’ve got to find the money to build it. Reports indicate that you may be trying to collect as much as $200 million. Is that figure accurate? Do you believe it’s important for the American people to know who is giving that kind of money to their President? Will you disclose the contributions as they come in? And will you place any restriction on who gives money and how much they can give?
>
THE PRESIDENT: No, yes, no, yes. (Laughter.) Next question. (Laughter.) I haven’t — phew, man. You obviously haven’t asked a question in a long time. It was like, you know, — one, I haven’t seen the final budget. Two, as Donnie Evans said, who is the chairman of the foundation, we’ll look at the disclosure requirements and make a decision. You know, here’s — there’s a lot of people — or some people; I shouldn’t say “a lot” — some people who like to give and don’t particularly want their names disclosed, whether it be for this foundation or any other foundation. And so we’ll take that into consideration.
>
Thirdly — and what was the other?
>
Q Any restrictions on who can give? Will you take foreign money for this?
>
THE PRESIDENT: Yes, I’ll probably take some foreign money, but don’t know yet, Ken. We just haven’t — we just announced the deal and I, frankly, have been focused elsewhere, like on gasoline prices and, you know, my trip to Africa, and haven’t seen the fundraising strategy yet. So the answer to your question, really, I can’t answer your question well.
>
Q Where does the people’s right to know this fit into all that?
>
THE PRESIDENT: We’re weighing, taking a look, taking consideration, giving it a serious consideration. Nice try, though.

Who wants to bet that most of the money coming in for his library will be from the very people George Bush said Americans should be afraid of, you know, the fear he used to get what he wanted during the time he was in the White House? Wouldn’t surprise me at all!

What an asshole the leader of America’s Taliban is!

Senator Larry Craig gets a spanking from the Senate…

(Sen. Larry Craig doing something unlawful on the floor of the Senate to an intern? Could be! He should be waterboarded for crying out loud!)

….but is it enough? No! Of course, over the last eight years if you’re a republican and a disgraced one at that, you get the Medal of Freedom or just a spanking! Yep, but if you’re a republican in the White House and commit illegal acts over the years or abuse your power, you don’t even get a spanking!

That’s right. If you’re an athlete and you use steroids, the House & Senate will go batshit crazy with hearings, investigations, and will publicly call you a liar….and if you fight back they’ll say, “Hey you sports guy! We don’t believe you and lying under oath is a felony and you could land yourself in the slammer if you don’t stop it! We are doing our jobs here! We know who the REAL criminals are and it is you sir!”.

Spit.

Can you imagine if any House or Senate committee had done their REAL JOBS over the past eight years? We’d have the president and vice president in prison for crying out loud! Oh, but for today, the Senate Ethics Committee will publicly give Sen. Larry Craig a spanking and they will want you to think to yourselves today, “Wow. The Senate sure is doing their jobs, huh? Without them, we’d have a lot of criminals running amok in this country. Thank gawd for the Ethics Committees!”.

Spit again.

The White House is unlawful and is the Poster Child for the young in this country. Nice, huh? Remember when a blow job turned the nation upside down? That was nothing! Today, we will still turn the nation upside down with such things as tapping your foot in an airport stall (why can’t Craig just admit he’s gay and loves blow jobs? Certainly the right wing of this country needs to know that! Being gay is illegal to them!) or sticking a needle in your arm to help your team with the game! Yep. That’s where the focus is today! If you’re a White House member and you:

  • Lied to the nation to bring our nation into an illegal occupation of a nation that did not attack us,
  • Deleted 10 million emails from your servers to hide your illegal activity or used the RNC servers to do business on to keep the American people’s eyes from viewing it,
  • Waterboarded, tortured, and killed prisoners,
  • Created your own genocide in Iraq,
  • Spied illegally on Americans without a warrant by using America’s telecom companies and have fought hard to make sure there’s no legal action against said telecom companies,
  • Set up secret and illegal prisons around the planet,
  • Or….Used signing statements to give yourself more power than you deserve so you could ignore the laws of this country to do what you want….

….then you, my friend, will get away with it! That’s right! Any kind of lewd sex not approved by the American Taliban (republican party) or use of drugs that they deem as illegal (Oxycontin is fine as long as you’re a neocon such as Rush Limbaugh ) will get your ass in “serious” trouble! You hear me? Breaking REAL laws is okay today.

This is good news for the children of our country! Blowjobs are criminal, but insider trading, starting wars illegally, killing, torturing, waterboarding, stealing, and lying is okey-dokey! Get it?

What are you going to do today? I’m planning on barging into my neighbor’s house today to kidnap their child and will take this child to an undisclosed location to put him on trial in a secret court with my hand chosen attorney for him and will keep him locked up for at least 20 years. I might even kill the child because I think he will say way too much if he’s released even after 20 years! I will get away with this too. Why? Because I’m not doing steroids or trying to seduce someone in an airport stall! See? The Senate Ethics Committee will look at me today and say, “Good job Kay! You’re going to get the Medal of Freedom because you’re reflecting what is good about our country today! We love ya!!”.

What good things will you do today to impress the White House & the Congress?Spit.

Is censure of Bush & Cheney coming?

Gawd, I hope so. I like to think of it as the first step the Senate will be taking towards impeachment. I could be wrong, but nothing would make me happier then rendering George Bush & Dick Cheney useless at this point.

From Russ Feingold via email:

On ‘Meet the Press’ this morning, I announced that I will introduce two censure resolutions aimed at holding President Bush, Vice President Cheney, and other administration officials responsible for the destructive path down which they’ve taken our country. It’s clear to me, and millions of Americans, that the time has come for accountability – on everything from the disastrous war in Iraq, to refusing, time and time again, to follow the rule of law. Members of Congress can no longer stand by and allow the White House to shred the Constitution, and thumb their noses at the American people.
>
Over recent months and years, we’ve learned that this President, and his administration, have used mistruths, spin, lofty-rhetoric, hyped-up intelligence reports, and scare tactics to drag this country into a war that can only be described as the worst foreign policy mistake in our nation’s history. In addition, the administration, in an attempt to justify this mistake, has repeatedly distorted the situation on the ground in Iraq. As a result, the administration has dangerously weakened us in our efforts to fight those who attacked us on 9/11.
>
What’s equally dangerous is the blatant disregard President Bush has shown for the rule of law on which our country was founded. Last year I introduced a resolution to censure President Bush for his failure to abide by the Constitution when he implemented his illegal domestic wiretapping program and for misleading the public about whether his administration was following the law. With your help, public scrutiny in this program was raised and the administration couldn’t ignore it any longer. Earlier this year, the program was finally terminated and brought under the jurisdiction of the FISA statute.
>
Unfortunately, failing to abide by the law is a pattern for this President. From illegal domestic wiretapping, to the President’s dubious signing statements, to redefining torture, to the current U.S. Attorney scandal, the list goes on and on. There are so many good reasons for the deep frustration so many of you and I feel about the direction of our country.
>
As I have said before, I believe the President and Vice President have likely committed what our Founding Fathers would have thought of as “high crimes and misdemeanors.” However, at this time I do not believe it is in our nation’s best interest to put important issues facing our country on the back burner to go through months and months of a divisive impeachment process. Some may disagree with that, but at a minimum we can agree that censure resolutions, holding the President and his administration accountable for the actions I’ve outlined above, are needed.
>
History must show that when confronted with an administration which does not recognize the separation of powers, which continually acts as if the executive branch is above the laws of our land, the American people and their elected officials stood up, in one voice, and demanded accountability.
>
I’ve heard from people in Wisconsin and across the country in recent months on what we can do to hold this administration accountable for its actions surrounding the Iraq war and its deliberate disregard for the law. Please click here to read more about my two censure proposals, tackling both issues, and give me feedback on both topics. I need your help to develop these resolutions so all of our voices are heard. I look forward to reading your thoughts and I’ll be sure to keep everyone posted in the coming days. I’m going to be looking to each and every one of you for help in developing these resolutions and in pushing them forward.

Something has to be done at this point. The Bush Regime is out of control….(CLICK HERE).

Yep, George Bush is telling the Senate that if they or an American do ANY ACT (or act of violence), meaning, a vote to bring the troops home which could cause instability in Iraq, their property can be seized. Don’t kings & dictators act like this? Take property away from their citizens and place it under government/parliament control? Yep.

Time to censure and then impeach these American-haters!
