Grant, the trolls have a better time getting in here to comment because they change their IP addresses all the time! Bastards. I have no idea why you have such a hard time here posting. Makes me mad as you know!

I have no idea where texasig's comment went. It wasn't in the spam catcher at all.

The WordPress software is wack at times. I probably get blocked
more by it than most others. If anything, the trolls often have the
least problem. Unlike the reich-wing blogsites that will delete and
ban any other voice in a New York minute, Kay gives her space to
opposing views, mostly deleting only those who are most vulgar in
her "limo" here.

Thanks for the clarification, Clif. I was trying to say he didn't have the ability to weaponize it (or process it as you said). :-)

Gonna have to try harder, cause I know a teeny little bit about both chemical and nuclear weapons, worked on both in my time in the service.

Saddam did NOT have what Bush and Cheney dishonestly claimed he had before they illegally invaded a country which also had nothing to do directly with 9-11.

Sorry to burst your ideological bubble on this one.

Googling for articles from the very early invasion period, won't help ya cause after an exhaustive search

U.S. 'Almost All Wrong' on Weapons
Report on Iraq Contradicts Bush Administration Claims

Charles A. Duelfer, whom the Bush administration chose to complete the U.S. investigation of Iraq's weapons programs, said Hussein's ability to produce nuclear weapons had "progressively decayed" since 1991. Inspectors, he said, found no evidence of "concerted efforts to restart the program."

The findings were similar on biological and chemical weapons. While Hussein had long dreamed of developing an arsenal of biological agents, his stockpiles had been destroyed and research stopped years before the United States led the invasion of Iraq in March 2003. Duelfer said Hussein hoped someday to resume a chemical weapons effort after U.N. sanctions ended, but had no stocks and had not researched making the weapons for a dozen years.

Duelfer's report, delivered yesterday to two congressional committees, represents the government's most definitive accounting of Hussein's weapons programs, the assumed strength of which the Bush administration presented as a central reason for the war. While previous reports have drawn similar conclusions, Duelfer's assessment went beyond them in depth, detail and level of certainty.

"We were almost all wrong" on Iraq, Duelfer told a Senate panel yesterday.

Bush Inflated Threat From Iraq's Banned Weapons, Report Says

President Bush and top administration officials repeatedly exaggerated what they knew about Iraq's weapons and its ties to terrorist groups as the White House pressed its case for war against Iraq, the Senate intelligence committee said yesterday in a long-awaited report.

While most of the administration's prewar claims about Iraq reflected now-discredited U.S. intelligence reports, the White House crossed a line by conveying certainty about the threat that Saddam Hussein posed to the United States.

Sorry, but the truth is, Bush and Cheney knowingly deceived the American people for a war they both wanted for their reasons, however the war was NOT justified by the discredited claims they made.

Terrorist devices, chemical weapons found in Iraq:
http://www.news8austin.com/content/headlines/?ArID=69136&SecID=2

(COMMENT BY CLIF OF WNI: relevant paragraph;

In the meantime, other military officials say weapons experts in Iraq have found ingredients and equipment that could be used to make a chemical weapon.

Could be used, seems NOT weaponized.

Seems they weren't weapons But precursor chemicals, some of which could have been dual use, can be used to make chemical weapons, but have other legitimate uses also, I know was part of my job in the US military,

Sorry but just using headlines which are NIOT supported by the actual article won't work._)

Kay there is no such thing as weapons grade yellow cake(which is actually an Uranium Oxide), because both reactor grade Unranium (5-7% enrichment of U 235 to U238) and weapons grade uranium (95% enrichment U235 to U238) are created out of the yellow cake in very sensitive and difficult to achieve processes, using centrifuges which Saddam didn't have in 2003, or chemical processes, which Saddam did not have the required chemicals or equipment to process.

Saying Saddam had yellow cake so he was gonna build a nuke is a out right lie.

Either the reich wingers are so stupid they do not know the difference, or so dishonest they don't care.

Saddam was no closer to actually building a bomb in 2003 with this yellow cakle then sarah palin was to moving to the Naval Observatory last fall. Cheney just plain LIED

Both were reich wing dreams with no connection to reality.

It wasn't weapons grade yellowcake uranium:

http://crooksandliars.com/2008/07/06/yellowcake-uranium-found-in-iraq-bush-was-right-well-not-so-much

According to international law, Saddam Hussein had this stuff legally. He did not have the capability to make it into a weapon of mass destruction. George Bush said he did have the capability and said he could attack our country in 45 minutes in the form of a mushroom cloud. He lied.
