So proud of them all! In the face of evil, they chose to continue on. BRAVO! I highly doubt any of these teachers want to be armed or to have armed guards everywhere around the school, because honestly, what civilized nation lives like that? That’s not living. That’s living in fear of the unknown constantly and is not healthy. Love is the most powerful energy in the whole entire universe and the following teacher, Mr. Wright, (thanks Clif for the link!) proves this…

I would love it if the Cro Magnon’s of our society would try using some love instead of picking up a semi-authomatic weapon to kill! Time to use words and compassion and this goes for Mr. Pak here in Maine who showed us all that he’s nothing but an evil man and if he didn’t have a gun, two young people would be alive today! Ugh.

      • The shooter is dead and the THREE victims are expected to make full recoveries. A LOT DIFFERENT OUTCOME than what happens when there is an active shooter in a “GUN FREE” zone.

        And how often does a shooting like this occur in comparison with shootings in “GUN FREE” zones?

                  • Back when I first got online, would make comments at an AOL chat room where your AOL address was always published thus making it difficult to be completely anonymous. After the Paducah, Kentucky school shootings, I posted my views on guns and all of a sudden had my AOL mailbox filled with threatening letters that danced about doing violence unto me for opposing their “right” to shoot those of us who hold dissenting views. I would be reluctant to physically meet trolls who hide out there in cyberspace.

      • The wingnuts are supposedly building up arsenals in order to fight OUR government someday. Good luck on attacking the U.S. “enemy” with semi-automatic rifles in a battle with drones, attack helicopters, fighter jets, heavily armored vehicles, mortars, rockets etc.

        The REICH-wing “enemy” will be mostly UNITED STATES soldiers, the same troops they supposedly love. Are they feigning uber-patriotism while waving their little American flags as soldiers march by in parades or during flyovers at the start of NASCAR races? So will “Love Our Troops” actually display their hypocrisy when they start firing on fellow Americans in uniform? So is it only the Timothy McVeigh nutjobs typical of the “soldiers” they truly love?

        • The 2nd Amendment was created for the purpose of combating DOMESTIC VIOLENCE in each state, so therefore, the state has a right to go after the REICH-wing!

  9. The 83rd Texas Legislature convened today and the Republicans are talking about taking another billion out of education after cutting $4 BILLION from education in the 82nd Legislature. But already, one of the first bills to be brought forth is hiring ARMED guards for Texas schools….who needs teachers? Freshman teabag Jason Villalba will author the new law.
