*sigh* You’re going to be educated once again by the right wing of this country again. Yes, I know. It’s an abomination to your open smart mind! But here we go…
According to the right wing of this country who swear they’ve read the US Constitution and the Bill of Rights so many times that they can recite it verbatim, they’re now saying the Black Panthers are not allowed to say out loud in a public forum that whites and blacks cannot marry, kiss, date, or procreate (or anything against white people!) and all white children should be killed.
See?
Only the KKK and white supremacists can make these kinds of statements against African Americans publicly!
See again?
Okay, let’s rehash…
It’s okay for someone of pasty white skin to say whatever they want and they’re protected by the First Amendment, but anyone with darker than pasty white skin who makes comments against the pasty white people, they should be drawn, quartered, and then shipped overseas! And remember, it’s okay to call a black person a ni**er but it’s not okay to call a white idiot a cracker!
You’ve been educated once again by the right wing of this country. NOW GO TAKE A SHOWER WITH A GALLON OF BLEACH PLEASE! Otherwise, you can’t be my friend if you don’t.

Nope, they can also say whatever they want, and just like the KKK, Aryan Nation, and White Noise Insanity, we have the freedom to dislike the hate speech.
Really the only reason why this racist asshole is getting any press is because Obama is brooming the voter intimidation charges against the group he belongs to.
But then again you’re the one defending the actions of a Klansman.
What group does he belong to know that you’ve made up in your mind or pulled from your asshole, Asshole? *shaking head*
And show me where I’m defending the KKK (or was this pulled from your ass too)?
Going out with friends tonight (you know, something you neocons don’t have!).
By the way, how many of you wingnuts remember you wingnuts saying Osama bin Laden will kill Americans who didn’t vote for George Bush in 2004? THE REPUKES HAVE ALWAYS LOVED THE IDEA OF VOTER INTIMIDATION!
Where is the proof that voters were too scared to vote after this Black Panther ran his mouth? Seriously, show us the slippery slope!
The story that FOX is pushing (and now CNN is jumping in saying, “ME TOO”) revolves around an incident on election day 2008 in which several men from a small, fringe organization called the New Black Panther Party (NBPP — no relationship to the original Black Panther Party) stood in front of a polling place in a majority Black voting district, ONE of them carrying a nightstick (not a gun like tea baggers carried to several Town Hall meetings including one attended by the President). The Bush Justice Department (remember they held power until January 21, 2009) charged them with civil voter intimidation charges, after deciding that the case didn’t meet the bar for criminal charges (no one was hit with the held night stick!). After Obama took office, the Department of Justice dropped most of the remaining charges, saying that they weren’t supported by the facts and the law, but Holder’s DOJ did obtain an injunction against the man who had been carrying a nightstick putting him on probation until 2012. The Voting Rights Act of 1965 states in Section 11(b) that “No person … shall intimidate, threaten, or coerce … any person for voting or attempting to vote.” Nobody at the Philadelphia precinct complained nor claimed that any of the above happened. Maybe the mostly black voters there felt the black man HOLDING a night stick was there to protect them from possible racist rednecks!!! An intimidation case was won in response to a lawsuit by Sen. Tom Daschle, a U.S. District Judge ruled that Republican poll watchers in South Dakota were intimidating Native American voters by following them out of polling places and taking down their license plate numbers in the 2004 general election. One man holding a night stick cannot even compare to REICH-wing BLACK Ohio Sec. of State Kenneth Blackwell stealing the presidential election for George W. Bush in 2004.

The New Black Panther story is built on the claims of ONE man — J. Christian Adams, a former Justice Department official who claims that the Obama administration dropped the NBPP case because of race and ran with his claims to Fox News. But even the most basic digging reveals that Adams is nothing more than a conservative activist hired by a Bush administration that was hell-bent on politicizing the Justice Department and subverting its civil rights enforcement mission. During the Bush years — the bulk of Adams’ tenure at the DOJ — civil rights enforcement decreased (think of black voter suppression in the 2004 election!). The DOJ failed to even investigate numerous clear civil rights violations when the victims were Black and Latino, especially allegations involving voting rights. Once again…THINK OHIO!
But in FOX News‘ hands, this story has become ginned up that the case was dropped because of perceived anti-White policies in the Obama administration, with Andrew Breitbart and host David Asman effectively calling the President a racist, a theme at Fox that was first mouthed by Glenn Beck. CNN‘s willingness now to follow FOX‘s lead is inexcusable since CNN isn’t doing an investigation but just cutting and pasting from rival Fox (guess they are trying to get back their lost Lou Dobb’s racist audience).
You mean MORE Fox news photo-shopping of the supposed “news” into right wing propaganda?
Which the right wing kool-aid clowns won’t admit
Fox News has to make up news because they have nothing else to support the right wing of America with. They’re embarrassed along with the rest of the country for The Retard Party!
That was pretty well articulated there, Grant.
What it boils down to though is:
Republicans follow minorities to their cars after they vote and write down license plate numbers = voter intimidation
New Black Panthers stand in front of a polling location wielding a billyclub (which I’ve seen a video of, so I know it’s not just an exaggeration) = NOT voter intimidation (maybe because you boldly state this is a majority Black voting district?)
plus a bunch of other screed to distract people (This guy is an activist, this guy is biased, etc…)
There’s still the issue of a person (does not matter what race or gender or affiliation) standing in front of a polling station (does not matter where the station is) threating people with a billy club. That’s not going away. Period. Full stop.
You are incorrect. A black poll worker stated to police that the men in video blocked the entrance and also was name-calling and intimidating people, who then left the voting center. Don’t know why I bother…you folks don’t want to discuss, as if a nightstick isn’t intimidation enough. Stick to the issue of what happened in THIS incident, not the past, will you? That’s all obsfucation
So Sandy, are you fine with people bringing a loaded gun to the park or to church or to the grocery store? Seriously, you’re an idiot. Are you afraid of the police who have a night stick on their side? If so, maybe America isn’t where you should be. This polling place consisted of mainly African American voters and the two Panthers were asked to be at the front door. Why? Maybe because of the teabaggers of this country? Hey, could be!
Um .. the problem is it happened at a voting place. Several people came forward and said they didnt vote because of the assn ugget with the nightstick.
Doesnt matter what side of the fence youre on. You walk around doing that at a polling site and you will run afoul of the law. Doesnt matter what your skin color is – at least thats what the law says. The law also doesn’t make a distinction as to whether or not someone’s part of some nutjob fringe group on the right or left.
This isnt a freedom of speech issue. It’s called ‘voter intimidation’.
Whats more interesting is the DOJ policy of not prosecuting voter intimidation cases where the victims are white. That’s actually been stated under sworn testimony as being the case. It isnt just a claim – it’s sworn testimony given under penalty of perjury.
There is nothing that would keep me from voting. You neo-Nazis of course would run for the hills is someone looked at you funny, right Dumbo Conservative? Hell, you all whine when I call you names!
How old are you? You sure are snarly & a smart aleck. Can’t you be civil?
Ummmm Sandy? Can you be civil since you’re a guest on my blog? Is anyone forcing you to be here and read my blog? Nope! Now scram! Why don’t you go hang on Michele Malkin’s blog where all the rabid haters are. They need some “dems” like you!
Does our TROLL have evidence or LINKS to prove that several people didn’t vote in the inner city precinct due to a man standing outside (100 feet away) with a nightstick? This case was investigated by BOTH the Bush DOJ and since by Holder’s office so IF there is legitimate evidence, I am sure our TROLL could find it.
Did the teabagger wearing a gun in a holster at an Obama “Townhall” meeting keep anyone away from hearing our President??? I would fear somebody with a gun a lot more than I would fear a guy with a stick.
Grant, trolls never have proof. They just pull their “facts” out of Glenn Beck and al-FOXeera’s butt!
UM conserv-o-turd, how BOUT Katherine Harris ILLEGAL removal of 55,000 legal voters from the rolls before the 2000 election, or Ken Blackwell’s routing the 2004 Ohio results to a know RNC front to “verify” the results to guarantee a Bush second theft of the presidential election (Not to mention his various attempts at blocking people he knew wouldn’t vote for the worst person to ever shit on the nation while sitting in the oval office).
Or the caging election tricks Tim Griffin lead in Florida (2004) making sure African American’s who were serving overseas in the service of our nation didn’t get the right to vote they were actively defending at that very time.
Oh right that hundreds of thousands of voting denials by the republiscum doesn’t count to conserv-o-turds like you do they clown-boy?
Stick to spamming people with your laughable third rate internet scams son … it is all you are really good at.
Too many facts, Clif! You know what that means….TROLL HEAD EXPLOSIONS!
NEW POST UP

As I reported last week, the BUSH Justice Department was the one who dropped charges against this Black Panther wannabee group, due to not enough evidence to pursue a complaint. However, the Obama DOJ did get an injunction against the baton wielding guy until 2012! Finally, MSNBC reports this for the first time tonight on Countdown. No wonder so many go to the Internet anymore to get their news FIRST. CNN was lazy and just reported as “fact” what Faux News reported and MSNBC let the LIE got around the world a few times before revealing the LIE it is.
Grant, trolls don’t like facts, remember? They’re trying to find something…..ANYTHING…..to make President Obama out to be a racist, because they themselves are one, so they’re deflecting as usual!
