Since republicans will be in attendance at this meeting at the end of the month, we can call it a “Retard Summit”. See? Sounds about right.

I’ll tell you what the outcome of this summit will be: THE REPUBLICANS WILL PUT FORTH THEIR IDEAS, THEIR IDEAS WILL BE ACCEPTED AND ADDED INTO THE FINAL BILL, AND THEN THE REPUBLICANS WILL VOTE AGAINST THE FINAL BILL!  Maybe we should call it the “Asshole Summit”. Hey, either way the republicans won’t let us down. We’ll get to use their comments at this meeting against them for the mid-term elections, though! Should be fun seeing them in favor of change and then in the end voting against change and reform.

One thing is for sure, President Obama is a smart man!

What will happen is the Republicans will put together a plan. The Democrats will twist and manipulate the plan until it looks nothing like the original Republican plan. The Republicans will vote against this new plan and be blamed for being obstructionist. We’ve already seen it happen and we will continue to see it happen for as long as oBama is able to continue tricking the Republicans into believing he wants to hear them.

That’s one interpretation, Chicken Hummer, another might be that it’s the Repuglicans turn to “PUT UP OR SHUT UP”. I’m sure it will be the same tired plan the repukes always trot out, if we just give huge tax breaks to the rich, they’ll trickle down on us and everything will be fine. They’ll probably also talk about Tort reform and how those poor corporations are hurting so bad having to be liable for the crap they produce.

As long as the OREO goes with the plan that will work best for America and not his ignorant plan all will be good.

Maybe they will suggest insurance competition across state lines, limit malpractice to bring down cost, or tort reform. Wait they have already suggested that but the democrats wanted more government control because of course they could run it better.
Could it be payback that a lawyer president who is supported heavily by trial lawyers does not want tort reform or demands unions build his trains. Democrats hate competition they cannot control and have a piece of.
Obama puts a new meaning to political corruption and partisanship. The only reason he wants to meet with republicans is because he found out he couldn’t shove his form of healthcare up the American peoples A– but he sure tried.

Before you say it “it is all Bush’s fault”

I hope President Obama puts forth the republican’s plan and then watches them all vote against it. It will be beautiful!

A government health insurance option would be no different than the no-namebrand product at your local store. Nothing fancy (no CEO’s!), but it will be cheaper or very low cost and you will get twice as much for the money you spend!

The right wingers are against this because they care about the namebrand corporations and believe it’s fine to spend $20,000,000/year on the CEO’s and not paying claims so the company can impress Wall Street with it’s profits! See the difference? I do!

Bush did not do a damn thing about health care in our country, BECAUSE HE WAS TOO BUSY SPENDING TRILLIONS OF AMERICAN TAXPAYER MONEY ON HIS FAKE WARS AND TAX CUTS FOR HIS BASE (the Haves and the Have Mores)!

I know you love to bash Bush but wasn’t he the governor who pushed health care tort reform through the Texas legislature?
