The Libertarians in Massachusetts are running Joe Kennedy as an Independent to fill Sen. Ted Kennedy’s seat

This Joe Kennedy has no relation to THE Kennedy family, but how many dumbasses will vote for him thinking he is a Kennedy? I bet quite a few and I’m sure “progressive liberals” such as Jane Hamsher of FireDogLake (who has already adhered herself to Fox News and Grover Norquist to take down President Obama’s Administration!) will go out of their way to back this man with the idea he is “one of us and just like Ted” just to punish the Democrats after 8 years of the Bush Regime! See?

Republican Scott Brown and Democrat Martha Coakley, winners in Tuesday’s Massachusetts primaries, will have some unexpected company as they campaign for the Jan. 19 special election to fill the Senate seat that was occupied by a Kennedy family member or friend for 56 years.

But another Joe Kennedy has entered the race. He’s 38 years old, an information technology executive, and no kin to the famous family. Monday, he gave the Massachusetts secretary of state 13,000 signatures on petitions to get his name on the ballot next month as an independent. Kennedy told USA TODAY he used a combination of paid petition-circulators and volunteers to collect the signatures. “I have some money of my own,” he said when asked how he financed the operation.

A libertarian, Joe “No Relation” Kennedy says he entered the race because he believes “the people need a choice.” He says there’s really no difference between the Republican and Democratic parties anymore. “Both are pro-war; both are pro-deficit; both pull our civil liberties away from us in different ways,” he says.

This Joe Kennedy says his last name won’t give him any political advantage. Yeah right….suuuuuure you’re thinking that! Spit. But hey, just like the time Jane Hamsher kicked Caroline Kennedy out of the running for Sen. Hillary Clinton’s seat in New York by publicly lambasting Caroline in a very un-feminist way, I’m sure Hamsher and others will make sure another non-progressive-liberal gets in Sen. Ted Kennedy’s seat just so they can say they’re truly powerful! Spit again.
