Glenn Beck’s live simulcast of “The Christmas Sweater” was a bust!

The only areas of the country where Beck’s cult meme, “The Christmas Sweater”, did “superbly” was in the rural areas of America. How did it do in New York & Boston? Well, let’s just say only 17 people showed up in New York and Boston and Washington DC was also laughable!

From Chattabox:

Glenn Beck’s Live simulcast of “The Christmas Sweater – A Return To Redemption,” was shown Thursday night in 400 movie theaters across the country. The “American classic” drew decent crowds in rural tea party enclaves, but failed to interest audiences in major cities, like Boston and New York. Beck’s live reenactment of his book, which is based on a “personal tale of love, faith and family,” only managed to attract 17 paying customers in New York, an additional 17 in Boston and just 30 in Washington, DC, according to the Raw Story.

Ticket sales closest to Beck’s hometown in Washington State sold out, but Seattle only managed to sell 70 tickets

But I thought Beck as the Teabaggers/Birthers/Tenthers conservative movement leader told us they were the majority of the population of our country and we should all be scared of their movement? Bah hahahahahahahaha! I’m sorry but every time Beck or one of his Dimwits speaks out loud I hear an echo, do you?

“The Christmas Sweater” is a story written by Glenn Beck about redemption, which is so scary and silly at the same time, because Beck’s form of redemption has come in the form of using his two national microphones a day to rally the neck droolers of our nation to overthrow President Obama’s administration using cult-like rhetoric in a messiah fashion! He believes he’s the New Jesus.

Beck scares me. Luckily not many in America are listening to him!

Beck’s Christmas sweater has unraveled! Bah hahahahahahahahaha! Oh gawd. Too funny. :!: :!:

Excellent William! Well, that explains Beck’s diatribe the other morning when he threatened on his radio show right off the bat….if anyone interrupts his ‘freedom of speech’ he’s gonna use every penny he owns to sue the pants off them!

    What an ass.

Beck’s right wing cult is a domestic terrorist group! They need to end. As the protest sign says in your link above: “NO HATE FOR CHRISTMAS”!

Who wants to bet that out of the 17 who showed up in the Boston theater at least 5 of them gave the screen the finger for 90 minutes? LOL!

  4. Grant in Texas says:

Nine megaplexes screened it in Houston but the “big snow” story must have made people go for REAL sweaters instead. Haven’t heard a peep here about the attendance but at $20 a ticket I am sure most elected to stay snugly at home.

  5. Grant in Texas says:

Sarah Palin did cause a ruckus at Ft. Hood where she claims she is giving $10,000 of her book profits to a fund set up for the victims of the Ft. Hood shootings. One retired military wife stood in line for 11 hours in frigid weather to buy 4 books at $21 each. She described Palin as:

“She’s human. She listens to people. She doesn’t think that she’s better than anyone. She’s all-American. That’s Mom, apple pie and John Wayne.”

When a reporter remarked that Palin’s book contained factual errors, the same idolater chimed,

“She doesn’t make mistakes. She doesn’t do wrong.”

I don’t remember such responses from those supposedly worshiping “Messiah” Obama.

Grant, I think what you meant to say is….Sarah will be collecting $10,000 from those at Fort Hood to give that money back to Fort Hood. LOL Hey, this woman could never part with HER OWN MONEY, because she knows her supporters are schmucks.

    Hysterical!

  7. Clif says:

The rude pundit watched and reviewed it so we didn’t have to.

The Rude Pundit would rather have his balls waxed by a beautician with hooks for hands than have to sit through Glenn Beck’s performance of The Christmas Sweater again. While recognizing that Beck’s daily ear and eye mauling on radio and TV certainly have an effect on his perception, the Rude Pundit can say that, based on everything he’s seen of or read by the man, Glenn Beck is one of the most despicable human beings on the earth who does not have the power to decide life or death. A truly just God would have buried him up to his neck in dense shit and then sent a plague of flies to lay eggs in his head.

    The rest is as good.

Thank you for linking to Rude Pundit’s piece on this, Clif. Apparently The Rude Pundit actually went to see Beck’s ridiculous “movie”. Poor thing!

Here’s another good write up on it found in the comment section of Science Blog’s I linked to above:

  9. Clif says:

During the show did beck deny

    herapedandmurderedayounggirlin1990?

    just askin’

cause if not, does that mean he really is guilty?

after all he had the perfect chance to set the record straight.

why didn’t he?

    • kayinmaine says:

Of course he didn’t deny it Clif because he’s guilty! See? These are the standards Beck has set. He sued someone over them and he lost. Bah hahahahahahahaha!

Rude Pundit: I would rather have my balls waxed by a beautician with hooks for hands than sit through Glen Becks “The Christmas Sweater”

From the rude ones live twitter during “The Christmas Sweater”

“Everyone but me is seated on the right side of the house. They are loving this.”

This reminds me of my republican sisters very republican, retarded friends I once met at a party, during a heated debate over politics and religion one of them, with a note of conceit and contempt in his voice stated triumphantly that “we only sit in the pews on the right side of the podium in church”

Of course I made his little brain explode when I mentioned that if he really wanted to sit at the right hand of God he would have to sit on the left side of the church….

    Idiots!
