ANCHORAGE, Alaska — The husband of former GOP vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin has quit his oil field job on the North Slope.
Todd Palin’s resignation as a production operator for oil giant BP ( BP – news – people ) PLC comes almost two months after his wife stepped down as Alaska governor and shortly before the release of her highly anticipated memoir.
BP spokesman Steve Rinehart says Todd Palin’s resignation was effective Sept. 18.
Meghan Stapleton, Sarah Palin’s personal spokeswoman, says Todd Palin hopes to return to his union job and for now is spending time with his family.
State financial disclosures show Todd Palin earned nearly $34,472 working part-time last year for BP and about $51,679 in the family’s commercial fishing business.
Let me guess….he’s seeing the dollar signs just like Sarah! Or as Clif mentioned on WNI recently in the comments, Sarah Palin has left Alaska without a secure oil future. Many people might freeze to death this winter thanks to her. Last year when some Alaskans were pleading with her to get some oil out to their areas or they would freeze, she told one constituent to “move to the city”. No wonder both have quit their jobs and are spending their days no where near Alaska!

I just read on my Twitter page that today in Topeka, Kansas was the premiere of the movie, “What’s the matter with Kansas?” (a right wing movie about George Bush’s America or something like that)…..AND NO ONE SHOWED UP FOR IT!

Kennedy actually had a long life full of important events to write about. Sarah needed a ghost writer to turn her pitiful life into a fiction.
