Okay, does anyone know if the fake pimp & fake prostitute in the end got a mortgage through ACORN? I’ve not heard. Because if they didn’t then what is really Glenn Beck’s beef with ACORN? Is it skin color of a majority of the ACORN employees who are minorities and come from lower income households themselves or is it because ACORN is connected to President Obama who is of the same skin color?
Glenn Beck believes what his comrades are doing on the ground by going into these ACORN offices to get the employees in a ‘gotcha!’ moment is going to save the planet. He’s obviously is under the impression that all mortgage companies are white, pure, and good…while it’s ACORN (a company aimed to help minorities, you know, the brown skinned people Beck seems to have a very big problem with!) that is the bad apple and needs to be shut down. He says it’s because they receive Federal money as the reason why he’s going after them and uses these videos as his proof that ACORN is a corrupt and criminal entity. Well, ACORN may be corrupt, but so aren’t most of the big mortgage companies across our nation. They had no problem under George Bush to give out loans to anyone who wanted one…
Don’t have a tax return to prove your income? No problem! You get a mortgage anyway!
You say you don’t want to divulge how much make? No problem! You get a mortgage anyway!
You make $50,000/year and want a $450,000 mortgage? No problem! You’ll be able to turn around and sell it to make a profit, so you get the mortgage anyway! And besides…if you default on your mortgage there are many CDS/hedgefunders who are very willing to make money on your toxic loan!
You’re a pimp, prostitute, drug dealer, and you murdered someone? No problem! Everyone gets a mortgage! (We even gave one to Phillip Garrido who kidnapped an 11 year old, kept her for 18 years in his backyard, and raped her while fathering two children with her!) Okay, I’m going to bed! I’ve been fighting a head cold for a few days now. Nite nite everyone.
Sadly, some minorities make heroes of those who escape poverty thus
they may have a different set of values. In their communities, a
pimp or prostitute may be admired. I remember while living in
Corpus Christi my car being held back by police once to let a huge
funeral cortege pass by coming from a requiem mass. I never had
seen such a procession as the one following the hearse, flower car
after flower car, the longest fleet of rented limos I’d ever seen
followed by a mile of cars/pickups/SUVs. It reminded me of
photos/newsreels of Mafioso funerals of long ago. Found out it was
a funeral of a local Hispanic drug dealer, who had a mansion and
all of the trappings of great wealth. A Mexican-American friend of
mine was incensed as he said he feared that some impressionable
young Hispanics considered the slimeball a “hero”. In this context,
I was not surprised with some ACORN employees “playing along” with
the conservative actors punking them. But who knows how many white
people got home loans from WHITE mortgage lenders using
misrepresentation with lenders playing along? Maybe some of them
should also be punked but now with the ACORN entrapment playing all
over the media/YouTube, they would be much the wiser.
Now why would ACORN fire these employees even if at least one of the employees was actually punking the fake prostitute/pimp back (by saying she murdered one of her ex-husbands, but turns out, she was lying along with the fakers)? Oh wait! Because Glenny had a temper tantrum! Yes, he had a temper tantrum and then once the employees were fired Beck could change his diaper which was full to the rim.
Ok Clif it’s shit for brains here, the problem I have with the
ACORN videos is that not a single one of the workers blinked about
her being a prostitute and gave her advice on how to do things. The
latest video shows a guy saying he will help bring illegals over
the border. I want there to be places to help those in need of
advice out there BUT this group seems to have lost it’s way. To
have 3 offices give advice without blinking means that there is a
problem that stems from the top down. Feel free to just tell me I’m
stupid and dumb for thinking that giving advice as to how to break
the law.

ACORN staffers shouldn’t have behaved the way they did and deserved
to be fired, especially for the opportunity they opened up to the
racist reich-wingers who performed the sting operation and haters
like Beck and Faux News. I don’t support bad behavior from
Democrats unlike Republicans who won’t even vote to admonish Rev.
Joe Wilson when he broke revered rules of the Congress. Sen. Vitter
of Louisiana is fine also with the “family values” GOP. If the
ACORN workers indeed realized they were being punked and “played”
with then they made a foolish choice. The “white bread”
conservative activist should not have been convincing as a pimp
just by the outlandish costume he was wearing. I am sure the street
sense of the staffers should have picked up on the fact that the
girl was not a hooker, either. ACORN has over 400,000 member
workers and more than 1,200 neighborhood chapters. A dozen workers
were found guilty of voter registration fraud last fall for using
names like Mickey Mouse (they were being paid by the number of
cards so instead of working, some jerks made up names for a
paycheck). However, some vigilant folks higher up caught that ruse
and those registrations were never filed. In fact it was ACORN
themselves who brought it up in the first place and fired them. In
this latest case, none of these loan documents signed by the actors
were acted upon either. So 20 people out of 400,000 were not doing
their job this past year which means that possibly 399,980 WERE
honestly doing their primary job of helping our nation’s poorest.
