When I heard on the radio yesterday that Sen. Ted Kennedy was reaching out to members of the Massachusetts Governor and others in the legislature to get on the ball in finding a temporary replacement of him, my heart stopped. Is Uncle Teddy getting ready to die? OMG, I don’t even want to think about it! I can’t even type this post because it’s just so sad that this great man would be leaving us now. Alas, that is the way life is though. Our hope is that you are comfortable and pain free.

I fear he knows he doesn’t have long for this world. However, it
looks like Massachusetts will be without a Senator for awhile. Sen.
Harry Reid said if a bill comes up for a vote on health care, Teddy
will try to make it Washington by any means.
I think so too, Grant. Howie Carr was venomous today about Ted Kennedy. Yes, I can see why some are upset that Teddy wants to change the law back in his state, but I believe he’s doing it because the vote on health care is that important to him. His whole political life has been fighting for health care for children and other human beings in our country who need it and who can’t afford it! It would be a tragedy if Ted wasn’t able to make the vote or if a republican ended up being in his spot at some point to give the finger to the people in Massachusetts Ted Kennedy has fought hard for!
I couldn’t even think of Ted Kennedy dying today without getting emotional. He’s going to leave a huge hole when he’s gone. He was a compassionate man who always thought of others. I will miss him greatly.
