WHITE NOISE INSANITY

Politicians…don’t piss down our backs and then tell us it’s raining!

The Democrats are scared of the yelling & shouting from conservatives at the town hall meetings?

Posted on | August 12, 2009 | 13 Comments

This is what Joe Scarborough said on his show this morning on MSNBC. He said the Democrats are scared to death. Apparently, this is what the conservatives are going to use to continue to drum up irrational temper tantrums from the public. *shaking head*

He’s wrong of course. Well, from what I saw yesterday Democratic Senator Claire McCaskill realized that the only way to calm her lunkheads in the audience was to treat them like children…

Visit msnbc.com for Breaking News, World News, and News about the Economy

And it worked too. The mentality of the conservatives in these audiences is that of children! “Now go to your rooms and don’t come out until you’ve understood how ridiculous you’re acting!!!!!”

Then there was Senator Arlen Specter’s town hall meeting where the lunkhead conservatives wanted to ask him every question that wasn’t about health care!….

She’s scared of The Socialists Like Russia…

One guy even asked him to his face if he had read the Koran. Specter told him, “No”. LOL I’m sorry! But that was the best moment of yesterday, because you can see on Specter’s face that he’s realized HE’S GLAD HE’S A DEMOCRAT NOW! I loved how in the video Specter gives the guy a microphone to talk, you know, the proverbial “give ‘em enough rope they’ll hang themselves with it!” moment. LOL

Where were these people during George Bush’s tenure? Oh that’s right! Laying low like spiders in a hole until the black Democratic President moved into the White House! Now they’re scared. Torture was fine, starting illegal wars was fine, but MENTION HEALTH CARE REFORM, and these ninnies run shooting off their rifles heading straight for President Obama denouncing his citizenship! *shaking head*

CONSERVATIVES ARE DANGEROUS AND INSANE. THE END.

By the way, Ben Hershenson of Ogunquit, Maine who is a republican and asked President Obama a question yesterday at the town hall meeting in Portsmouth, New Hampshire said this:

“Ben Hershenson of Ogunquit, Maine, got a laugh from the crowd when Obama chose him to ask a question, and he said, “I’m a Republican — I don’t know what I’m doing here, but I’m here.” But in an earlier interview, he said he has profound issues with the president’s health care proposals.

For one, he doesn’t favor a public option, saying “it will cause private insurance to shut down.” He’s convinced that a public option will lead to rationing of health care, “even worse than it is now.

“As an American, if the president were to launch any military intervention, I would support him 100 percent. But social programs? No,” he said.”

As noted by Lawrence O’Donnell on Hardball last night, Hershenson represents MAINSTREAM REPUBLICANS, you know, the non-wackos of the republican party. Hershenson was respectful to President Obama even though he disagreed with everything Obama was doing on health care, but if our nation had to go to war tomorrow, he would support President Obama in a heartbeat.  On Howie Carr’s show yesterday, he played some of what Hershenson said AFTER President Obama’s town hall meeting. Hershenson reiterated that he would never make a fool of himself on national television to make his point. He respected President Obama’s time.

Comments were made all over the MSM yesterday about how calm Obama’s town hall meeting was compared to the ones by Senators. THE ANSWER: REPUBLICANS UP HERE IN NEW ENGLAND ARE DIFFERENT THAN THE ONES DOWN SOUTH. Truth. That’s not to say we don’t have our wackos up here! Oh man, yes we do. But…..when the President speaks people listen. They did with George Bush too. Remember how frustrating it was that no one would yell out at George Bush? Well, that’s because when you’re in the presence of the president you act differently than you would if you were standing in front of your representatives! And besides, Hershenson said he didn’t want to make an ass out of himself, but if you look at him and compare him with the conservatives who are acting like assholes, you can see the difference in intellect and demeanor! Oh boy.

For the record, I am pretty pissed off at Claire McCaskill going on
Fox saying how wonderful these disrupions were as they proved how
well American democracy worked. Idiot. She deserved to get shouted
at just for being a brownnosing appeaser, for all the good it did
her. As far as Mr. Hershenson goes, while it is true he was not a
frothing idiot (good for him), he still has clearly listened to and
chooses to believe the right wing misinformation/smear campaign
that the free market will solve ALL our problems, never mind that
they are the reason we have most of them. So he’s an idiot too,
    just not a psychopathic idiot.

I disagree Lisa K., because the more we see of these conservatives disrupting democracy and listening with their fingers in their ears (hence the booing of Claire when she was trying to explain the process of where all the health care bills are at!), it’s better for America to see what the republic party has plummeted to. I for one think these ignorant morons should continue their little quest of denying the truth by shouting over it. LOL

Chances are Hershenson is a frothing winger who gets his daily rage from Glenn Beck and others, but it was nice to actually see at least one republican being able to form a sentence without pulling a gun and holding the place hostage!

Oh, I agree with that. Let ‘em scream all day and night while the
rest of America looks on aghast. What irritated me was McCaskill
giving any type of legitimacy to these slopsuckers. on Fox News no
    less.

Lisa K., McCaskill treated the little WATB (whiny ass titty babies) as they should have been treated: like CHILDREN! She’s a good Mom. LOL She explained everything to a tee even over the shouting, yelling, and pacifier throwing. She never once lost her cool and after it was all said and done she said with a twinkle in her eye, “The kids were acting bad? Naaaaaaah. They were just being like typical toddlers”.

Our Rep. Gene Green said that most of those disrupting his meeting
were not from his district. From now on, he will issue tickets to
only those who live in his district (and not just to Democrats).
Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee was tardy to her first townhall in Houston.
Many were mad as she only put up the place and time ONE day
beforehand. When the meeting was late starting, the crowd became
rowdy with one spectator loudly asking, “Who is against the public
option of socialized medicine?” after which hands began to shoot
into the air. Then someone who favored the public option yelled,
“The free market has failed!” which drew a chorus of “boos.” It’s
important that our pols be in control of their meetings from the
    beginning.

LOL, yeah, that was pretty funny. I have to tell you, I have never
even seen children behave as atrociously as these fruitcakes! It
would have been a loooong ride home with my mother if I had ever
    behaved like that in public!

Here’s a memo being sent out to conservatives before a town hall meeting:

    Nice. Spit.

You’re right Grant. We should also be at these meetings too to yell the truth (which obviously makes the right wingers crazy….the truth that is!).

Lisa K., these children were raised by the republican party. That’s why they behave so badly. LMAO

Lisa: I just got a clean bill of health from my physician and he
informs me all laboratory tests confirm his previous diagnosis that
I am not an “idiot.” Lisa..wake up and smell the flowers before the
    bloom is gone.

Ben, and what was your bill of health diagnosis? Acne? Your mental status still needs checking!

    August 12th, 2009 @ 6:56 pm

Lab tests confirm he’s not an idiot,

Seems his doctor doesn’t use modern medicine,

Because lab tests aren’t used for anything like that,

    Intelligence tests maybe,

    But lab tests?

    Wait a minute;

“ben” you ain’t the rat Michael Jackson sang about in movie Willard are ya?

His doctor probably used a pregnancy test, Clif. LOL
