One more reason why I love Dennis Kucinich. He would have been our president today if the “liberals” (former republicans pretending to be true liberals) hadn’t focused on his ears and his height, because according to them, he wasn’t presidential enough because of these two traits. *sighing and rolling eyes* We were also labeled ‘nuts’ in our support of the man who speaks truth to power every chance he gets! Assholes. Anyway, here’s Dennis doing what he does best…

I see what you mean about Dennis.
And as a Canadian we have better beer, bigger sidewalks, and oh yes great low cost health care.
Imagine the possabilities
I love Dennis, his ears, his height, his liberal views, and think he was totally presidential material, Tangodaddy!
The right wingers would have committed mass suicide if Kucinich became the president. The End. The right wingers are lucky to have President Obama who wants to hear their side of every story. Kucinich would not have and would have said, “I’ll listen to you AFTER I am done cleaning up your party’s messes!!!!”.
I know he would have!
Kucinich is one of the best politicians around. The right wing mainstream media ignores and dismisses him, once again disproving the “liberal media” BS.
But.. I will never forget how Obama and his people censored Kucinich during the convention :

Yet not every speech has been completely overhauled. Rep. Dennis Kucinich (D-Ohio), who was asked by Obama to speak about the economy, was scheduled to deliver his speech Tuesday afternoon. The Obama campaign struck just one line from his speech, which slammed the Republicans and the Bush administration, according to a Democratic source.
That line, addressing Republicans, read: “They’re asking for another four years — in a just world, they’d get 10 to 20.”

Too funny Thoth that after 8 years of George Bush spending TRILLIONS WHILE WE WERE IN DEBT AND ASKED CHINA TO BACK UP THAT DEBT, Americans are now clinging to him? LOL! OMG, I’m sorry….but Rasmussen must be surveying the RNC and not real Americans. Right wingers love using numbers to deceive, so it’s not surprising that after 6 months of Obama in office they’re using numbers that give the impression that Americans are fainting with dainty handkerchiefs because they can’t handle it! Oh please. Too funny and very pathetic of all of you.
What could possibly make you think he could win the presidential election when he couldn’t win the democratic nomination. He would not have the MSM swooning all over him like obama had and someone might have asked him a tough question, which they didn’t with obama.
With all of that stimulus money that obama had to have right away, it is becoming evident this administration has no clue what they are doing because the economy is tanking after only 2 1/2 years of democratic control. Bush fell asleep in the last two years of his rein or we wouldn’t be in this mess because he could have held off the democratic controlled congress from doing what they did, tank the economy for their own purpose.
I explained why: THE FORMER REPUBLICANS-TURNED-LIBERAL WERE ONLINE POSTING AGAINST KUCINICH BECAUSE KUCINICH WASN’T PRETTY ENOUGH TO BE THE PRESIDENT. Hey, I don’t judge people by the way they look. I judge by what they say and how they act. Dennis Kucinich is a good honest man and this is another reason why he didn’t have a chance to be president. Personally, I think he would have made a fine president.
Why could Sarah be president? Only you right wing neck drooling knuckle dragging wingnuts think you can! Funny….now that we have President Obama many of those former republicans-turned-liberal see Kucinich NOW like the rest of us already did! Obama is not and never was a far left liberal. Kucinich is.
Kay….Kay…I think it is time for you to switch to de-caf…..the Democrats did not nominate Kucinich because of the Republicans???….say what???
Oh wait…I remember…It was Bush’s fault
Time to put down the crack, because never once did I say the Democrats did not nominate Kucinich because of the repukes. What I did say is FORMER REPUBLICANS WHO PRETENDED TO BE LIBERALS ONLINE wouldn’t support Dennis BECAUSE OF HIS EARS, HIS HEIGHT, AND BECAUSE TO THEM HE DIDN’T LOOK PRESIDENTIAL ENOUGH. Get it fuckhead? Now put the crack pipe down and read for once!
Okay, back to my mini-vacation.
madhatter: What could possibly make you think he could win the presidential election when he couldn’t win the democratic nomination.
My response: Kind of like the rights hero, Ron Paul?
madhatter: Would not have the MSM swooning all over him like obama had and someone might have asked him a tough question, which they didn’t with obama.
My response: The MSM, especially those on the right were more interested in whether Obama was a Muslim, an American born citizen, the anti-Christ, Reverend Wright, Obama paling around with the terrorist Ayers, connected to Rezko. Bill O’Reilly interviewed him and asked tough questions…
madhatter: With all of that stimulus money that obama had to have right away…
My response: You mean the TARP money that Bush & Paulson said they needed ASAP and even threatened that the government might have to call for martial law if the TARP bill wasn’t passed.
madhatter: it is becoming evident this administration has no clue what they are doing…
My response: You are talking about the Bush administration right? They didn’t have a clue for eight years
madhatter: Bush fell asleep in the last two years of his rein…
My response: Bush was asleep for eight long years and look where it has gotten us today, thanks to Bush and the republican party and their rubber stamp, toe the party line brand of politics.
madhatter: the democratic controlled congress tanked the economy for their own purpose.
My response: LOL! How would this serve their purpose? Actually the republican master minds knew the republicans were going to be history in 2006 so they allowed the banks and Wall Street to continue to swindle America, they knew that with a economy on the verge of collapse, two failed wars, a housing crisis, rising unemployment, no new jobs being created, bail outs and health care would be too much for a democratic president or the democratic majority to fix in four years which they hoped would get the republicans back into power again by 2012.
Exactly Temple of the Dog!
Temple,
You are so right onwith your response. Ron Paul was a major republican contender and everyone is surprised he didn’t win.
Those right wing MSM, all one of them, were entirely focused on obamas associations. The other msm did a great job of grilling obama about what books he read and when he said he was not affiliated with acorn they said he must be right, great journalism and they should be applauded.
You hit it that Bush caused all of the economic mess. That republican Chris Dodd, Barney Frank, Franklin Raines and Maxine Waters were in charge of banking and housing and had let it slip through their fingers.
WRONG, they are in congress which has NO direct regulatory functions in the private sector, that is the SEC, FDIC Treas and FED’s job all BUSH appointees.
QUIT LYING and you wouldn’t look so shit eating stupid
Wait they were democrats but it wasn’t their fault or pelosi’s it was all Bushes fault.
The increase in unemployment, lagging stock market, massive debt, Chysler going to forign ownership, Hummer going to foreign ownership and now we own 60% of GM, is all Bushes fault because for six of the last 8 1/2 the republicans were the majority and just because things started falling apart in the last 2 1/2 years when democrats took control of congress, it still is Bushe’s fault.

The roots of this crisis go back to the Carter administration. That was when government officials, egged on by left-wing activists, began accusing mortgage lenders of racism and “redlining” because urban blacks were being denied mortgages at a higher rate than suburban whites.
The pressure to make more loans to minorities (read: to borrowers with weak credit histories) became relentless. Congress passed the Community Reinvestment Act, empowering regulators to punish banks that failed to “meet the credit needs” of “low-income, minority, and distressed neighborhoods.” Lenders responded by loosening their underwriting standards and making increasingly shoddy loans. The two government-chartered mortgage finance firms, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, encouraged this “subprime” lending by authorizing ever more “flexible” criteria by which high-risk borrowers could be qualified for home loans, and then buying up the questionable mortgages that ensued.
