Iran’s Ayatollah Ali Khamenei asks, “How one can rig 11 million votes?”

Geeeeeee, how can one rig 11 million votes in favor of the guy who the Iranian people don’t want? Well Ayatollah, all that needs to be done is one person in charge of announcing the winner after looking at the vote counts, seeing that Ahmadinejad lost by 11 million votes, is not the actual winner, and then this person deciding to announce to the people, “Ahmadinejad is the winner!”. See? It’s very simple. This election reminds me of Ned Lamont & Joe Lieberman’s 2006 race where at one point in the voting Ned Lamont received the EXACT same amount of votes that one of Joe’s former opponents did in a previous race Joe was in! Yeah, yeah, it’s good to have friends in high places if you wanted to win your race when you clearly didn’t win it. It was as if Connecticut’s Secretary of State wanted Joe Lieberman to keep his seat for Israel so he said, “Screw it! I’m just going to announce that you won Joe even though you clearly didn’t, because the people of Connecticut wanted change and we don’t want that, right Joe?!”. Spit.

So Ayatollah, it’s very easy to “steal” or “rig” 11 million votes when you have people in power who decide the winner before the votes have been tallied, and even after they’re tallied and they see that Ahmadinejad clearly was the loser in the race…..they’ll just announce him as the winner anyway!

I have a feeling if the Ayatollah’s decision to announce Ahmadinejad as the winner today will result in the Iranian youth continuing their quest for change. It’s going to be a wild ride. We, as Americans, must stop demonizing the Iranians. It’s not them that is the problem…..it’s their leaders.

Perhaps he needs to ask former republican congressman, Tom Feeney, or the Bush crime syndicate, or the makers of the Diebold electronic voting machines.

He could even ask that professor from Princeton to show him exactly how it’s done.

Whats sad is that the Iranian people showed they care more about their elections and election fraud more then we Americans do. They protested in the streets, risking their lives, we, after the obvious election fraud in 2000 sat on our asses and bitched about it online.

I think that the Iranian mullahs took the vote totals and simply switched the names next to the vote totals. The “official” vote totals are a big joke, and the world knows it.

What will happen next? I predict a bloody and violent crackdown followed by the world moving on to the next issue and forgetting the people of Iran. The regime will move forward, and the Iranians will be forgotten.

By the way, the bad grammar in the title was from the copy & paste I did from the article linked above. Oh well! It could be how the Ayatollah asked the question, though. Not sure.

Exactly Insidious. Of course, even if they don’t use voting machines over there, as Chris pointed out….doesn’t matter how the votes are tallied when you have those in power switching the loser as the winner!

I’m in the mood for protesting again thanks to the insanity of the right wing over the last 5 months!

Other than counting the votes, the Iranians have a leg up on the USA. First of all the candidates ALL got to debate and they had state-financed campaigns, no private money to court special favors later. They had paper ballots, therefore a paper trail, and 80% turned out to vote, much higher than in our democracy.

Jon Stewart said of the several candidates besides Ahmadinejad and Mousavi, that Ralph Nader pulled in 3%.

LOL Jason! Wow, I see you drank the American Taliban (current GOP) Koolaid this morning! Good for you for continuing to be a stupid ass in the face of Americans. This is very good for the next election!

  6. Grant in Texas says:

The brainwashed TROLL Jason can’t even READ!!! Nowhere does Kay support Ahmadinejad, in fact, just the opposite. But keep on watching Rush and Faux News and enjoy being ignorant. I fear the “revolution” is over for now as the majority of Iranians are still ignorant Islamic fundamentalists, a reason why we should not allow the American Taliban, the reich-wing christian fundies, take over here.

Grant, all trolls are illiterate. See?
