Did you know that the punishment for domestic terrorism is different depending on your skin color and status in life?

I had no idea. I thought the good ole US of A treated terrorists the same. Huh. Was I wrong…

A domestic terrorist is defined as “one who is a citizen of the country the acts of terrorism is directed against” (per Wikipedia), but for me and others, I view a domestic terrorist as one who is an American who conspires to hurt another American or Americans. Wife beaters/killers, murderers in general, and anyone who conspires to kill another could be examples as far as I’m concerned.  Anyway, I’m curious as to which of the following you consider as a true domestic terrorist and if you think the punishment fits the crime they’ve committed.

Here is Scott Roeder, you know, the WHITE right wing lunatic anti-abortionist who decided to gun down and kill Dr. George Tiller inside Tiller’s church this past Sunday in Kansas…

Roeder has now been charged with first degree premeditated murder and aggravated assault. He will not face the death penalty.

And then there’s Carlos Bledsoe (known today as, Abdulhakim Mohammad, after converting to Islam), the BLACK winger who gunned down a US soldier in Arkansas at a recruiting center there…

Abdulhakim has been charged with one count of capital murder and 16 counts of committing a terrorist act and could face the death penalty.

Then there’s the PASTY WHITE BAZILLIONAIRE, Dick Cheney, the former VP of the United States who made sure the 9/11/01 attack on our nation went smoothly without interruption, who had his buddies at the Pentagon/Fort Detrick send out anthrax to liberals to kill them right after 9/11, and the same man who to this day says the torturing of prisoners is an American value, doesn’t hurt or cause pain, and who has brainwashed his daughter Liz into torturing her own children to prove it…

As of right now, Dick Cheney has not been charged with domestic terrorism, murder, or war crimes. He will face no trial and is still free to roam the earth.

Okay, let me see if I have this straight….the white guy kills a doctor inside the doctor’s church, is hailed a hero  by the christian right and will not face the death penalty….BUT!….the very white former VP of the United States won’t face any punishment for his terrorist acts on Americans….BUT YET!….the lone black man with the funny name after converting to Islam will face capital murder and 16 ACTS OF TERRORISM after killing ONE person? I’m sorry, but it is me or does it appear that a “real domestic terrorist” in the eyes of some Americans means any person whose skin is darker than a light bulb? Holy cow! Seems so. If you’re white you’re free to conspire & kill whoever the hell you want and your punishment will be laughable compared to what the dark skinned domestic terrorists in our nation will receive!!! Nice. Spit.

Seriously, all 3 of these men are terrorists and I think they all should face the same punishment for their crimes. Do you agree? Personally I’d like to see that pasty white bazillionaire pushed off a cliff.

  1. “If you’re white you’re free to conspire & kill whoever the hell you want and your punishment will be laughable compared to what the dark skinned domestic terrorists in our nation will receive!!!”

Unless of course you are O.J. Simpson.
Also, you’re comparing apples to oranges when it comes to the two victims. The doctor was a civilian, and the soldier of course was a soldier. From my understanding any physical attack on a soldier is considered an act of terrorism, which is punishable by death. Also if your an American citizen charged with the murder of an American soldier it could be seen as an act of treason, which again is punishable by death.
I agree that Tiller’s killer should face the death penalty, but for whatever reason the prosecutor isn’t going down that road.

  2. I’m pretty sure that had Tiller been murdered in Arkansas, Scott Roeder would be facing the death penalty. This is not racism, this is merely the difference in state laws.

BTW, Cheney ain’t all that rich, heck he’s not CLOSE to being a billionaire. As for the rest of your utterly inane statements about Cheney… yawn, heard before and laughed at it.

    Finally, How’s that impeachment going??

    “““““““““““““““““““
Haven’t you heard? Your party lost the presidency and the senate, no need for impeachment. Finally, how’s that minority party thing going for the party of no future? Found any new leaders with new ideas yet? Apparently not as they just spew more hatred, more lies, more push for more obstruction….get used to being the minority party for the next decade!

  4. “This is not racism, this is merely the difference in state laws.”

You know, there used to be different state laws about slavery and voting rights, too. Fancy that, none of it was about racism.

  5. Oh really JFH, where did the $9,000,000,000 go that has been missing from Iraq since 2003? Huh? Paul Bremer said he passed the money out (all 363 tons of it) and didn’t write down the names of who he gave the money to. Probably Bremer & Cheney stole it and put it in secret offshore accounts? Hey, could be! And before you say, “No Kay! That’s not what happened!”, then prove to us the $9,000,000,000 can be accounted for! Name names. Thanks pal.

Seems to me if you’re white, you have a very good chance of getting away with murder. And if you’re a black O.J. Simpson and get away with murder, it’s because of your status in life and nothing else!

  6. “You know, there used to be different state laws about slavery and voting rights”

No State has laws saying that if you’re white and commit a crime you’ll be treated this way, and if you have darker skin than the average white man and commit the same crime you’ll be treated this way.
It’s not racism, it’s just a simple fact of one State acting by their own laws and not another State’s laws. Kansas for instance hasn’t used the death penalty for 38yrs.

Kay, it sounds like you’re listening to Alex Jones again.

  7. Texas has already executed 16 this year alone, half of all executions in the nation…9 black, 6 Hispanic, ONE white man. Texas’s 24 million population is 51.5% white, 20% Hispanic, 11.5% black.

Coming through immigration last week, I was stuck in line (I always pick the slow line everywhere!) due to a young Mexican in front of me delayed for several minutes, even taking his fingerprint. I went through the passport swiping in 15 seconds. Then at the luggage inspection, due to huge lines, noted that all whites went right on through, but the same Mexican boy was pulled to one side for luggage inspection.

At Heathrow, seemed all Arabs, women with hijabs, were given the additional pat down. I got a good “feel” too as all during my trip, my steel splint on my broken arm always set off the metal detector. But noted that racial profiling is most evident everywhere.

  8. “No State has laws saying that if you’re white and commit a crime you’ll be treated this way, and if you have darker skin than the average white man and commit the same crime you’ll be treated this way.”

LOL, actions and convictions and sentences speak louder than laws.

  9. The man who assassinated Tiller should get the death penalty. Period.

What he did was terrorism in every form of the word. In fact u could argue he was more of a terrorist then the other guy who killed the recruiter.

However since the guy who killed the recruiter is a muslim, so in the eyes of most of the dumbass Americans, that makes a difference.

  10. He killed a soldier Chris, that is an act of terrorism. Who is the dumbass for not thinking that? It doesn’t matter if the killer was black or white, or a Muslim or a Mormon. As for the guy that killed Tiller, yes, he should get the death penalty, but the prosecutor isn’t going for it. Probably because the State of Kansas hasn’t used the death penalty in 38yrs.

  11. I was raised in Mississippi. Believe me, there are laws for white people that are different from laws for black people.

  12. Rachel Maddow revealed last night that Roeder has been vandalizing clinics for years and been given a pass by our FBI. But that agency once headed by Ms. J. Edgar Hoover has always leaned right.

  13. According to Thoth and other right wing neck droolers….terrorism only comes in the form of killing a soldier. Terrorism is never when a man holds his family at gun point and then kills his wife, his children, and then himself. Terrorism is never gunning down another American inside a church. Terrorism is never, never, ever the raping, torturing, and killing of a child. Yep, according to the right wingers, terrorism is defined as killing a soldier.

    Fuck off.

  14. Who wants to bet the judge in Kansas overseeing Roeder’s murder/terrorism trial is also a right wing christian who wears a bible on his/her face and preaches every Saturday on the street corners about how abortion is murder, but the death penalty and war is not! Roeder will get 6 months in prison, you watch. The black Muslim will spend 20 years behind bars and then will be murdered by his state. Assholes.

  15. Meanwhile….THE BIGGEST CRIMINAL TERRORIST CONTINUES TO WALK AROUND FREE AS A BIRD! Yep, Dick Cheney is free to continue to terrorize a planet!

  16. “Who wants to bet the judge in Kansas overseeing Roeder’s murder/terrorism trial is also a right wing christian who wears a bible on his/her face and preaches every Saturday on the street corners about how abortion is murder”

I’m sure you’d rather have that judge be a far leftist former board member of the National Council of La Raza, and racist supporter of Aztlan.
