The best way to counteract the violent ones is to use some peaceful non-violent protesting! I love how there’s lots of Mainers who are checking out my blog. One fear I had during last year’s election is that many Mainers who have computers don’t know how to find the Maine blogs to see what we’re talking about. My suspicion was correct after Sen. Susan Collins pissed off Mainers when she banded with the Democrats on the stimulus bill. Many called into WGAN (our local radio station where there’s a conservative and a liberal talk show host) and on Howie Carr’s show out of Boston asking aloud, “Who is this Susan Collins? I don’t know her!”. Well, they can’t be relying on the neocons on the radio to get their info OR THE MSM HERE IN MAINE THAT PROTECTS COLLINS EVERY STEP OF THE WAY!

You were right about President Obama looking sad. He probably realizes just how evil the republicans are and how pathetic some in his own party are. How sad is it when you truly want to change things for the better in this country and you have to deal with all of the bullshit from the other side who care more about winning back the majority then fixing their own country.

I truly believe President Obama wants to fix Washington, DC and is frightened by what he’s witnessed so far (whether in the House & Senate or through our intelligence agencies etc!). Honestly, Barack is TOO NORMAL to be in the White House, but then again, he’s great for our country right now and will change the way we Americans view the White House.

It made me think of how you have to deal with your republican sister on a weekly basis.
Kay, I meant that Obama scenario from a few days ago.
In regards to my other republican sister. She called me up at 12:30 am one night a week and a half ago, screaming and demanding me to stop posting comments at her cities local papers blog. Then she got all vile with me. I was shocked and stunned to say the least.
She has been with her republican boyfriend for 12+ years and they have since moved 130 miles away in a community that’s apparently a haven for Nazi’s, republicans, racists and red necks who think their words are gospel and the words of anyone not a republican are wrong. It is really, really sad. I have now disowned my younger sister who has since given out my e-mail address to some of her brainwashed nutjob republican’t. *sigh*

Speaking of Mann Coulter, not sure where I found the link to this blog, but it’s by two older women (80 +) who’ve been friends for decades now living at opposite ends of the country, one in Texas, one in Maine.
