Joe the Plumber (who really isn’t a plumber, nor is his name really Joe….his first two lies & deceits) is the new right wing propagandist for Israel and has filed his first report. Yep, ole Joe the Plumber tells us that the rockets being launched into Israel are so fervent, that the Israelis can’t do normal things, such as, get soap in their eyes like the rest of us.

Yeah, Joe has been there only a day or two accompanied by Israeli propagandists…some of the best in the world! At least there is WATER on the Israeli side of the apartheid wall that imprisons the Gazan Palestinians. Thanks to the two year embargo of Gaza by Israel, they no longer have much of any of the necessities of life like water, food, fuel, electricity.
Even though the Aussie’s political parties still support USA/Israel, I am not finding the “plumbers” and common folk here supporting Israel…in fact, just the opposite. I saw “Free Gaza” and “Stop the Palestinian Holocaust” posters around Melbourne and they have had street rallies attended by hundreds, some reported in the thousands, in both Melbourne and Sydney. Just arrived here for my last week in New Zealand and haven’t had time yet to take the pulse here. Only a few have brought up George W. Bush and there hasn’t been a kind word spoken about him yet. A Canadian on our cruise ship asked us “HOW on earth could Americans have voted for the idiot TWICE?” Obama seems to be giving the world HOPE. I will be home just in time to see him sworn in but since we get CNN everywhere here (mostly the “international version” which is less pro-Israel and right wing), I could be watching the great event here too.
