Obviously you hold a hard line liberal ideology with no room for compromise. It is not necessary that you agree with the neocons or them with you. Believe what you want to believe I say, but remember, there is surely someone else on the other side of an issue just as rigid as you are willing to go head to head to the end no matter the cost This kind of rigid thinking I believe is one of the root causes of not a damn thing getting done in Washington today.
The ability of a reasonable thinking person to see beyond his or hers own personal and political beliefs for the greater good is a good thing. Sadly, many American’s in the center today believe such ideals as self-sacrifice, sound judgment, compromise for the greater good are things of the past. History is full of examples where personal compromise was necessary for this nation of ours to thrive. Today, it’s all about appeasing the far right, left or a campaign contributor once a candidate is in office there-by causing further finger pointing and gridlock.

A quick check of your list, Moderate, shows some of the earlier presidents listed as “democrat” were really “democratic-republican”, and the WHIGs were truly republicans.
