So far, so good. As of right now, Al Franken is up by 225 votes against right wing moron, Norm Coleman, and even Chuck Schumer is saying Franken is the clear winner. Awwwwww, but the neocons of America are embarrassed that a comedian & liberal, such as, Al Franken, has kicked Coleman to the curb, up the sidewalk, and across the busy intersection of the last 8 years of the Bush Regime!
So, what is Coleman’s answer to this beating? Sue, sue, and sue until he wins! Bah hahahahahaha! Yep, Norm Coleman, who is part of the political party who has stolen lots of elections in recent memory and who were pissed when Al Gore brought George Bush to court after the 2000 Presidential Election (Gore won it after all the votes were counted), are the same people now who want to count all the votes. Shocker! Hell, even Sen. John Cornyn is wanting to filibuster Al Franken’s win in the Senate, because really, nothing says “we don’t care what the people of Minnesota said!” more than this and it’s just more proof that the republics of this country care more about their party than they do for the country, and right now, what is best for the country is to have adults in the Senate, such as Franken, in it!
The sad part, however? We have Sen. Harry Reid as the Majority Leader and it appears he will be the best thing the republicans could imagine when it comes to not seating either Franken or Roland Burris. Personally, I think Reid should allow the seating of Franken & Burris so Americans can see how the republicans are just obstructionists in the end and don’t really care about our country at all. Hell, these assholes are already trying to find ways to impeach Barack Obama (which is so funny because the republicans have said for years that impeachment is something Americans loath! Oh wait. They said that about impeaching George Bush, a neocon republican. Nevermind.) before Obama takes office, so it will not surprise me in the least if these same assholes are the ones who focus on Franken & Burris, rather than, the state of our nation. I say, good. Let the republics show who they truly are. Americans kicked their asses to the curb in the last election for this reason and we will do it again in 2010 too. Of course, Reid’s ass is on the line in 2010 when he’s up for re-election, so it would be in his best interest to hold his fist in the air against the repubicans. If he doesn’t, then bye-bye in 2010, Harry!

As far as Burris is concerned, Governor Blagojevich has not been indicted (he just made insane comments about wanting to sell Barack’s seat! No real crime was committed as far as I can tell….and if it’s abuse of power that is the charge, then arrest Governor Sarah Palin too! She’s got lots of abuse under her belt too), so I say….his appointment of Burris to fill Barack Obama’s seat is legal and should be honored by Reid. The End.
