Uh oh, looks like Levi Johnston & Sarah Palin have admitted to violating federal regulations

Posted on | January 3, 2009 | 24 Comments

Remember recently when Sarah Palin was trying to convince us that Levi Johnston, who is the father of Bristol Palin’s baby, Tripp, was the Teenage Dad of the Century, because he was taking correspondence courses while working on the North Slope as an apprentice? Well, turns out, to work on the North Slope, ONE MUST HAVE A HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA AND IT’S A VIOLATION OF FEDERAL REGULATIONS TO BE WORKING ON THE NORTH SLOPE WITHOUT ONE.

Ooopsie.

From the Anchorage Daily News:

Now it appears the governor may have found a new way to skirt the rules. How is it possible that the governor’s soon-to-be son-in-law, Levi Johnston, is working as an apprentice on the North Slope?

The governor, in trying to dispel rumors the father of her grandchild is a high school dropout, released this statement this past week,

“Levi is continuing his online high school work in addition to working as an electrical apprentice on the North Slope.”

But federal regulations require all members of apprentice programs, union or otherwise, to first obtain a high school diploma, something the governor’s soon-to-be son-in- law does not have. Some apprentice programs even require the completion of high school level algebra or the post-secondary equivalent.

Are there any laws, rules, powers, or regulations that the Palin family and those connected to it don’t break, abuse, or make up as they go along? Something tells me that just by asking this question, I will end up with a horse’s head on my front steps courtesy of the Palin Mafia in Alaska! See? It never ends.

As usual, here’s Sarah Palin getting out of dodge to find the closest Neiman Marcus store to shop this latest crime off (or maybe she’s trying to find Levi’s mother for some good drugs to get her through? Who knows! It’s anyone’s guess as to where she’s going!)….

Nice, huh Chris? I’m starting to think that Sarah also stole clothes from Neiman Marcus in addition to the RNC buying her $150,000 dollars worth.

Uh oh, looks like Levi Johnston & Sarah Palin have admitted to violating federal regulations

Since high school drop out little Levi probably can’t comprehend the United States Code or the regulations based on it,

He probably has the too stupid to know defense,

st sarah the fraud has the too stupid to care defense.

Shit eating dumb describes that extended family quite well.

And for the amount of bullshit she spews forth,

she must eat truck loads of shit each day.

Clif, Levi wasn’t even smart enough to use a condom, let alone, understand USC codes of the United States. And Sarah? She believes humans & dinosaurs roamed the FLAT earth together. LOL

Kayinmaine: Nice to see how fair and balanced you are: “federal government, which spends billions on Alaska each year –more per capita than in any other state”

And less per square mile than any other state.

The Feds have systematically broken the statehood compact over the last 50 years. The compact said that the state could use the natural resources of the state, and then Uncle Sam began stopping that use. To date they have excluded an area larger than the state of Texas from timber, mining and other natural resource production.
I am not a fan of the Governor, but she has been extremely successful in stopping government corruption.
It is nice to see that the election has not altered the utter vileness of the left!

And less per square mile than any other state. .

With a population smaller then Chicago, San Francisco or even Atlanta, you’re squawking because Alaska doesn’t get MORE money from the lower 48?

Must have had a job waiting to build that waste of tax payers dollars the bridge to link a fourth rate little Alaskan village to an almost uninhabited island with a mud strip right

she has been extremely successful in stopping government corruption.

Cause she specializes in corruption focused on her friends and family and goes after the competition ruthlessly.

Sarah Palin is the Governor of a state that receives subsidies from the oil company and from the American taxpayers. Basically it’s a SPREAD THE WEALTH STATE. Yep! She went after Barack for saying ’spread the wealth’ but has no problem doing it in her own state while abusing her power!

She’s pond scum in Neiman Marcus couture.

Yup, here is a picture of our ‘mud strip.’
    http://maps.google.com/?sll=55.35556,-131.71361&spn=0.05,0.05
Of course, we only get about 1/2 million folks using the airport each year. Which puts us about fourth in passenger service, but it is the second busiest FAA site in Alaska, after Anchorage, because of all the flight seeing and air taxi services.

Kayinmaine, we get no subsidies from big oil, we get tax revenues, and as owner of oil and gas, we get to sell it.

Refering to our Governor as ‘pond scum’ certainly shows your white-trash roots. You continue to amaze me by your vileness.

Sorry, Sarah is the white trash in the room. She may be gorgeous, but underneath, she stinks like garbage. But hey! She’s your Governor and you love her, your oil checks, your welfare, and your laziness!

Oops, the picture above is out of date. It was widen and extended last year.

  12. kayinmaine
    January 4th, 2009 @ 8:41 pm

I bet it’s Sarah using the airport the most and is charging you Alaskans for her whole family to go to a business meeting in Texas for 2 hours, but will charge & stay for two weeks, huh?

  13. kayinmaine
    January 4th, 2009 @ 8:42 pm

By the way, your link to the ‘mud strips’ went nowhere….kind of like the bridge Sarah didn’t like but loves now! What a lying sack of crap she is.

  14. NoWhereAlaska
    January 4th, 2009 @ 8:46 pm

She is my governor, but I am not a fan of hers, nor do I love her. She has plenty of faults. But the way she hammered the republican/big oil ‘good old boys’ club won her a lot of respect.
I am firmly convinced that had the media gone after Obama as they have with Palin, we would be getting ready for another Clinton administration.
The political corruption is so extreme in much of the Democratic strongholds, it is laughable that you point out the miniscule corruption on the right and ignore the wholesale corruption on the left.

  15. kayinmaine
    January 4th, 2009 @ 8:51 pm

She went after the republicans in her state so she could get her mitts on what they had. Trust me on this. Even her beautiful house appears to have been built with lots of free stuff. Huh, gifts you say? SARAH WANTS ALL THE GIFTS, SO SHE HAD TO GO AFTER THE BIG BOYS!

    Go after Obama for what?

Miniscule corruption on the right? Are you serious? Ever heard of K-Street? BAH HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Nice try, though. I know it’s hard for some of the neocons that a man with a black father and white mother kicked their asses this year. It’s fun to watch though.

  16. kayinmaine
    January 4th, 2009 @ 8:52 pm

Why doesn’t Sarah make the ‘good ole oil boys’ that she ‘hates’ pay for the bridge to nowhere as their punishment? Oh wait a minute! She’d rather make the hard working people of the lower 48 pay for that bridge, huh? Yep.

  17. NoWhereAlaska
    January 4th, 2009 @ 8:52 pm

Kay, that is odd, it seems to work fine from my computer, you just have to adjust the google picture to get it all in view.

Your ‘facts’ are a little screwed up. Palin endorsed the bridge when it was a $200 million bridge. She terminated it when it ballooned to almost $400 million. She terminated THAT specific bridge. Not the Gravina Access project. The REIS is still being worked on to determine the most appropriate way to improve access to Gravina Island.

  18. NoWhereAlaska
    January 4th, 2009 @ 9:01 pm

“She’d rather make the hard working people of the lower 48 pay for that bridge, huh?”

Most of the money for the bridge was an earmark redirecting Alaskan gas tax revenues toward the bridge. We are like the rest of America. Our highways are often built and maintained by Federal Highway funds allocated to the states. I haven’t seen anyone objecting to Maine receiving those funds.

If the ‘neocon’ label was aimed at me, it missed. I am simple a non-socialist liberal.

  19. kayinmaine
    January 4th, 2009 @ 9:12 pm

Here in Maine we love our tax money being used to keep our bridges & roads safe and don’t go around like Sarah lying our asses off about it.

  20. NoWhereAlaska
    January 5th, 2009 @ 1:19 am

It is funny. You say she is lying, yet you ignore the facts that she wasn’t lying about the bridge.
Yes, I want the bridge but I respect her reasons for cancelling it when it became too expensive.
Apparently, your hatred and venom, must be expressed even when it is at odds with the facts.
You aren’t lying, but actually, it is worse than lying. You are so blinded by your infantile rage. You are the epidome of what is wrong with America. You cannot stand aside from your partisan, emotional bigotry and see the world in which both sides have some measure of truth. You must try to destroy the other side at all costs, including our liberty.
You are one sick woman. I pity you.

Sarah palin DIDN’T cancel the bridge, …. the congress cut the earmark so sarah palin spent the money elsewhere, the money was allocated just no longer earmarked for the dumbest bridge project ever.

On November 16, 2005, Congress stripped the specific earmark allocation of federal funds for the two bridges in the final edition of the omnibus spending bill, without changing the amount of money allocated for use by Alaska.

So your idiotic statement about palin canceling the project is false, the earmark was canceled in congress.

In September 2006, during her campaign for Governor, Sarah Palin visited Ketchikan to express her support for the Gravina Island Bridge project. At a public forum, Palin held up a pro-bridge t-shirt designed by a Ketchikan artist, Mary Ida Henrikson. The legend on the shirt was “Nowhere Alaska 99901″, referencing the buzzword of “Bridge to Nowhere” and the primary zip code of Ketchikan. In her public comments, referring to her own residence in the Matanuska-Susitna Valley, she said: “OK, you’ve got Valley trash standing here in the middle of nowhere. I think we’re going to make a good team as we progress that bridge project” in response to an insult expressed by the state Senate president, Ben Stevens.

In October 2006, when asked, “Would you continue state funding for the proposed Knik Arm and Gravina Island bridges?”, she answered: “Yes. I would like to see Alaska’s infrastructure projects built sooner rather than later. The window is now – while our congressional delegation is in a strong position to assist.”

She did stop your losers from paying YOUR portion of the money BUT kept the money from the lower 48 like a good socialist who gets others to pay for their wants.

    Remember she wasted 25 million dollars on the;

    “Road to Nowhere”

Palin has spent more than $25 million in federal funds to build the Gravina Island Highway, which would have connected with the proposed bridge, because, according to Alaskan state officials, the $25 million would otherwise have had to be returned to the federal government. Because “no one seems to use” this road, it has been called the “road to nowhere” by CNN, many local Alaskans, and hundreds of other media sources.

CNN reporter Abbie Boudreau took a helicopter over the road to give “a real perspective of what the road really looks like.” “There’s no one on this road,” she said, “It kind of just curves around then it just stops. That’s where the bridge was supposed to pick up, right there.” Boudreau said she “tried to find someone in town who actually supported the road. So we contacted Palin’s former campaign coordinator [Mike Elderling], an avid Palin supporter. But even he had a hard time not laughing.” Elerding agreed that the road was a waste of taxpayer money without the bridge.

McCain–Palin campaign spokesperson Meghan Stapleton defended the road: “The governor could not change that earmark. That earmark was given. That earmark was dictated. That had to be spent on the Gravina road and nothing else. And so, the governor had no options.” Boudreau asked Stapleton if Palin could have stopped construction. Stapleton responded: “My understanding is that – you know, I’d have to look into that for you. I don’t know.” Later, Stapleton told Boudreau that Palin had no “viable alternative” because the contract for the road was signed before Palin came into office. Alaska Department of Transportation spokesman Roger Wetherell disagreed, stating that Palin could have canceled the contract upon taking office and reimbursed contractors for any expenses incurred in association with the project, as happened when Palin cancelled a $18.6 million contract on a Juneau road and reimbursed the contractor for $65,500 in expenses. Federal Highway Administration spokesman Doug Hecox stated that Palin could have opted not to use the federal earmark, which would have allowed Congress the opportunity to send it to other federal needs.

Nice socialist … taking money for wasted projects from US taxpayers, …. especially wasting 25,000,000 dollars of taxpayers money on a road even her supporters NOW LAUGH ABOUT. because the felons like Stevens wanted to waste the money and she obliged.

    Clif,
You are full of it. I live here. Yes Congress stripped some of the earmarks.
But the funds still came to Alaska. The bridge is STILL on in the Record of Decision. We are currently finishing the REIS for Gravina Access. The Road is part of that Access. Of Course no one was on the road–duh! It isn’t finished yet. Your interpretations are all incorrect. Palin DID cancel the Preferred Alternative. That is the reason for REIS.
You need to have your head examined if you rely on CNN for accurate news.
You all seem to be as deranged about Palin, as you are about Bush. No information can dent your Ass-inine blinders.
The masthead of this blog is partially correct! You are all self-induced, self-blinded insane!

I didn’t rely on CNN dunderhead.

She canceled the bridge after the earmarks were removed, BUT kept the taxpayers money, so she could say to the cheapskates in Alaska YOU didn’t have to pay but the suckers in the lower 48 sure did.

Like the socialist she really is, she wants everyone else to pay for her and her political ambitions.
