Former First Lady Barbara Bush was rushed to the hospital on Tuesday

This is becoming an interesting Thanksgiving week, huh? First we find out Ann Coulter’s mouth has been wired shut which has allowed an upsurge in oxygen levels around the world and now we find out Barbara Bush was rushed to the hospital due to stomach pain, which is a shocker, because most of us had no idea Barbara Bush could feel pain! Wow. If I remember correctly, wasn’t it Barbara Bush after Hurricane Katrina ravished the Gulf Coast who said the people of Katrina were better off living in a sports arena with feces, urine, and death all around, because in her mind, this was way better for them than living in their own homes? See? She’s never had the ability to put herself in someone else’s shoes to feel their pain. She’s numb from head to toe and I suppose when we get right down to it, the only pain she’s capable of feeling is her own. Selfish witch.

It would take more than being full of shit to kill off Ma Barker Bush. You just can’t kill off something that evil without a stake through the heart or by using fire.

In lighter news, this description of Norm Coleman had me laughing for a while:

Coleman is a creepy, weird-looking character, a beanpole in a suit topped with a rigid mousse helmet of politician hair, like the offspring of a mop and a game-show host.

Leona Helmsley has nothing on this Bitttttttttttttttttch ! At least she had the courtesy to wither up and pass on.

And people wonder why Jr is such a dickheaded asshole, takes one to make one.

Happy Thanksgiving if I don’t stop in before then.

This was breaking news last evening on local TV. Barbara had suffered intense stomach pain around dinner time and first it was feared it was her heart. However, they found a stomach ulcer had perforated (could have killed her within hours), so had laproscopic surgery to close the hole. Since bacteria from the gut can invade the abdominal cavity which can lead to septic shock, she will be kept in the hospital for observation for several days.

Ulcers most often have a bacterial cause. Once it was believed they were caused by stress, but if that was the case, her family should have killed her years ago.

For those who wish to be thankful for having birds to kill, here is a video game that can make one feel like Dick Cheney or Sarah Palin:

Grant, it was pretty serious what Babs went through. When I heard ‘ulcer’ as the cause today on the way home from work, my first thought was the same as yours! Too funny. ;-)

New post up by the way. ;-)

  8. Chris from Maine says:

I hope Barbara Bush makes a full recovery. Ulcer surgery, especially at her age, is a rough thing to go through.

That being said, from almost all reports she is a horrible evil woman, with no respect at all for anyone not named Bush. If there was a hell (there isnt btw) something tells me she would be headed there.

  9. kayinmaine says:

Chris, I can’t stand her as a person. Today on WGAN’s radio news break she was described as “America’s grandmother”. Say wha? She ain’t my grandmother!!!!

  10. Grant in Texas says:

Local news says she is recovering and has her old jovial self back. She did acknowledge she had suffered pain worse than child birth.
