Holy crap, where do you get information?!! Rumsfeld announced this accounting problem BEFORE 9/11. (In fact truthers use this to show he KNEW that after 9/11 this missing money story would be buried). Therefore, he was blaming the PREVIOUS administration for accounting problems as the fiscal budget of 2001 was managed by the Clinton administration… By the way, for 2 trillion dollars to be poorly accounted for it would take MANY, MANY years to accumulate that much money (I don’t think 8 years of the TOTAL defense budget would have added up to 2 trillion).
