Some Republicans wanting to dump the increasingly embarrassing Palin at the last moment might want to form a McCain/Joe-the-Plumber ticket. Bumper stickers might read:

McCain/Plumber: “Sarah don’t know shit, but Joe does!”

McCain/Plumber: “We’ll get Dem turds, one flush at a time.”

Actually, all this coverage is showing how much of a pompous ass she really is and a liar. We love it! Thanks media! Of course, all those McCain/Palin supporters who are making $18,000/year still scream in delight when Johnny says, “It’s not fair that the wealthy have to pay their taxes! No spreading of the wealth around!!!! It’s shameful!!!”. Yep, those making $18,000/year could use some extra money, but Johnny doesn’t want to help. Nope. He just wants to help himself and the crowd goes crazy for him.

Stupid.

You have to report high dollar gifts, and if she keeps them after the campaign she can’t claim they were just for it.

She’s nothing but redneck trailer trash. And you know they never planned to donate the clothes to charity after the election was over until after they were called out on their extravagant spending. It’s sort of like how Bristol and Levi “always” planned to get married, so getting pregnant was just a “bonus”. Yeah, right. Fucking assholes.

Those suffering from PTSD (which Cindy says John DOES NOT HAVE because he is too tough!) do suffer the rest of their lives. My uncle, whose Army Corps of Engineers unit built airstrips all over the South Pacific, was shot at while driving a bulldozer by Japanese snipers who would not surrender. He also would “ride shotgun” and he knew he shot and killed a few Japanese.

For the rest of his life, he had recurring nightmares that the widows and children of the Japanese soldiers he killed were chasing him with drawn knives. My aunt would have to awaken him and talk him back to reality. After no longer recognizing my aunt at the VA hospital where he died from Alzheimer’s, my aunt once said she hoped he no longer had those bad memories from the war and would die in peace.

Carol, speaking of the body language between McCain & Palin the other night…

It was mentioned on FDL this morning that McCain seemed agitated with the sound of her bracelets clanging together. Maybe he wasn’t agitated but was actually having a flashback to his time as a POW where the clanging sound was the same sound as keys clanging together? Could be. I thought I had read somewhere that McCain did have flashbacks of this kind. Kind of scary to think of him as president who is STILL having flashbacks! I mean really, he might lunge and kill someone on national tv or start a war….just because his mind is telling him to! Scary, scary, scary!

Grant I think she really finishes the two frauds off with this passage;

…the Republican brand has been tarnished in a shameless effort to gain votes and appeal to the lowest emotion, fear. Nothing about McCain, except for maybe a uniform, compares to the same ideology of what Goldwater stood for as a politician. The McCain/Palin plan is to appear diverse and inclusive, using women and minorities to push an agenda that makes us all financially vulnerable, fearful, and less safe.

Just about sums up their losing campaign perfectly.

Gov. Palin looks like a Pentecostal Holiness woman.They believe that men are the head of the house and must be obeyed. Women are there to serve. When I lived in the Appalachian mountains of NC, my next door neighbor called them country gold…”Can’t hardly get ‘em anymore.” Lots of the men would have half an acre of tobacco and call themselves farmers. Hire Mexicans to do what little actual work there was to do. Hang out during the day and get on their tractors when the wives would come home from work. The little woman would fix supper and spend her summer vacation in the tobacco fields.I was one too.
