The Bush White House asked for documents to be forged to link Saddam Hussein to al-Qaida?

Well, of course they did. They also were ecstatic when Rocco Martino broke into the Niger Embassy in Rome, Italy and stole Niger letterhead. That letterhead was used to forge a document to make it look like Saddam Hussein & Niger were talking about yellowcake uranium (remember the famous 16-words in Bush’s State of the Union address?).

The Bush Regime says these accusations are absurd. Bah hahahahahahahahahahaha! Funny! Bah hahahahahahahahaha Oh those fascists in the White House! Bunch of liars & deceivers! Bah hahahahahahahahahaha!

The Iraq invasion & occupation is all based on lies. It had nothing to do with liberating the Iraqis from Saddam Hussein. It had everything to do with greedy criminal Oil Maggots who needed to get back into Iraq to capture the oil there and to use Iraq as THEIR central front to occupy & dominate the rest of the region. Spit.

  1. I am hoping criminal charges will come forth to put these traitors behind bars for the rest of their lives. If we let the criminal activity of the Bush administration go unpunished, then what is to prevent any future administration from taking the same liberties.

I don’t think Bush was kidding when he said, “Stop throwing the Constitution in my face. It’s just a goddamned piece of paper!” One of MANY reasons Bush gave for attacking Iraq was to bring them “democracy”. I hope for the sake of the Iraqi people, he didn’t mean Bush-style “democracy”.

  2. No way!!!! The Bushites wouldn’t do such a thing! They are all patriotic saints! They are protecting us from the evildoers! They are the closest thing to Godliness! They are above corruption, greed and sin! They are for we the peoples best interests!

Sorry…I had to see what it felt like to defend those rotten bastards. I must now take a long shower to wash the scum off of me.

  3. Fester stop tryin’ to channel “hal”,

If you by chance ever get into his head,

You will just end up as lost in there as he is.

Besides there are somethings in there you really don’t wanna know about …….

  4. There’s no statute of limitations for murder. May this haunt him for the rest of his life, worrying when some sharp, young state prosecutor may decide to have a go at this:

Bugliosi has set this up marvelously. All it will take is one state prosecutor in a left-leaning state to drag bush in on charges of murder. It doesn’t matter whether the rest of the nation agrees. If he’s found guilty of murder in, say, Maine, he gets sentenced in Maine and goes to prison. Love it!

  5. Col Pat Lang’s take on Ron Suskind’s new book;

The Suskind book and a possible bill of impeachment.

“A new book by the author Ron Suskind claims that the White House ordered the CIA to forge a back-dated, handwritten letter from the head of Iraqi intelligence to Saddam Hussein.

Suskind writes in “The Way of the World,” to be published Tuesday, that the alleged forgery – adamantly denied by the White House – was designed to portray a false link between Hussein’s regime and al Qaeda as a justification for the Iraq war.

The author also claims that the Bush administration had information from a top Iraqi intelligence official “that there were no weapons of mass destruction in Iraq – intelligence they received in plenty of time to stop an invasion.”

The letter’s existence has been reported before, and it had been written about as if it were genuine. It was passed in Baghdad to a reporter for The (London) Sunday Telegraph who wrote about it on the front page of Dec. 14, 2003, under the headline, “Terrorist behind September 11 strike ‘was trained by Saddam.’” Politico

Suskind argues that this charge, if proven, would constitute a “High Crime.” I agree. “Reasons of State” may be an excuse for such behavior in some polities, but, it is clear that it is not in the United States.

President Bush is called a liar and a law-breaker in this book. The charge is that he, personally, ordered some documents forged and others ignored in order to lure the American people into support of a foreign war. These are charges that make Bll Clinton’s difficulties with his libido look rather trivial.

The charge is so serious that Bush deserves an opportunity to clear his name of the accusation. Therefore, the House Judiciary Committee should meet to consider a bill of impeachment. Anything less will leave a stain on Bush that will follow his family name down through the ages. pl

Note: I know Ron Suskind fairly well and respect both him and what I have read of his work in the past. I have not discussed this book with him although we have talked about the general direction of his work.

An interesting argument for impeachment hearings.

Impeach the SOB and see if he then can clear his family’s name ……

But then again his grandfather didn’t care he was caught doing business with the Nazis during WW2.

All he was worried about was the millions the US government took when he got caught.

Well at least when the Dulles brothers got into Power under Eisenhower, he got his money back …..

I wonder if that had anything to do with Alan Dulles being one of the Thyssen’s family lawyers in Europe post WW2?

  6. Bush has surrounded himself by so many partners-in-crime, I wonder if he is beyond being brought to justice in fascist Amerika?. Hillary Clinton has an Op-Ed piece in today’s Wall Street Journal decrying the loss of tax monies due the U.S. by so many U.S. corporations having moved their “headquarters” offshore.

Clinton describes a modest five-story building in George Town, Cayman Islands that is the “headquarters” of 18,000 corporations, half of which are American. In 2004, taking a tour there, our tour bus guide told us it was headquarters to 12,000 (only rented mailboxes) so the number of corporations “moving” there has mushroomed. The capital city of only 20,000 population, also has over 600 banks from all around the world where bank accounts are sealed to prevent public disclosure.

Even though Halliburton and KBR have “headquarters” in the Cayman Islands, Halliburton moved recently to another new “headquarters” in Dubai even though they left behind at least 5000 “workers” in their Houston offices alone! Having an office in Dubai allows them to also keep doing business with Iran under the name of a shell operation, too.

  7. BTW seven years ago today, George W Bush IGNORED a PDB titled

“Bin Laden Determined to Strike in U.S.”

We all know how that turned out,

Well at least today we convicted bin Laden’s DRIVER of something ……..

happy anniversary or somethin’ like that I think….

  8. When it comes to the “Six degrees of Kevin Bacon” connecting the world, with Skull and Bones members, often it is only one or two degrees that separate the powerful who have run this nation, especially in the past century.

I am not sure that with all of these connections that we can have justice anymore involving the rich and powerful.

  9. Sen. Clinton makes some GREAT points and good ideas, but the dirty little secret is that the corruption is just as bad on the oversight side in the form of Congress. Powerful leaders in Congress influence key military contracts far more than the executive branch… The American people gave Congress back to the Dems, because the Republicans become just as entrenched and greedy as the Dems before them. Sen. Clinton can help pass laws to make this process more transparent and eliminate “no-bid” contracts, but all of that is going to come with a price that fickle Americans may not want to swallow (i.e. the speed at which we can respond to threats or recover from disasters).

  10. WOw! Where do we get such men?!

Obviously NOT the college republicans yellow elephant chicken hawk brigade.

  11. (i.e. the speed at which we can respond to threats or recover from disasters).

Considering the “speed’ Bush and his sycophantic minions used in the Katrina disaster, ANY change couldn’t hurt and given the democrats do NOT hand out contracts to political cronies and their children (ie the Emerald City fiasco)the response might include enough COMPETENT personnel to help.

As usual your making predictions based on right wing talking points NOT facts or research, …….

  12. FEMA has ALWAYS sucked… I personally experienced after Hugo, Florida after Andrew and much more recently when they got hit by 3 hurricanes in the space of 2 months. Heck even MS which was hit by the Cat 5 winds (unlike LA which winds only made it to the Cat 3 level), is doing far better than LA. Strange how “red” areas recover so much better than the “blue” areas… Maybe it’s ‘cus those cities and states don’t sit back and wait for the Federal government to help them out…

As usual your making predictions based on right wing talking points NOT facts or research

LOL, you consider what you do, ie googling to biased web sites is doing research and gathering facts. You’re a riot, Clif.

  13. Well son FEMA did an OUTSTANDING Job during the righter attack on the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building in Oklahoma City in 1995.

But then again the Clenis put James Lee Witt in charge of FEMA and not some guy who’s resume was bases on running a horse program for rich SOB’s

and the Washington Post is biased?

    about YOUR personel gripes with FEMA;

    Hugo, Florida after Andrew

    Hurricane hugo …. September 1989

    Hurricane Andrew …. August 1992

Both FEMA responses directed by a Bush crony in charge of FEMA …

3 hurricanes in the space of 2 months.

That would be the year 2004 right son?

    Hurricane Charley … August 2004

    Hurricane Ivan … September 2004

    Hurricane Wilma … October 2004

All three FEMA responses directed by a Bush crony in charge of FEMA …

Ya know son, I think I’m detecting a pattern,

Don’t let a Bush crony near FEMA

Like they never should have let any Bush cronies near Iraq at all,

You know fooles like Donald Rumsfeld, Paul Wolfowitz, Douglas Feith, Richard Perle, Condi Rice, L Paul Bremer, Dan Senor,(CNN’s Campbell Brown’s Husband) Bernie Kerik, Jim O’Beirne (Kate O’Beirne’s husband) who BTW asked people

    1. Did you vote for George W. Bush in 2000?
    2. Do you support Rowe vs Wade?

before he would hire them to create the US fiasco in Iraq

Looks like he was the Monica Goodling of Iraqi reconstruction, which is probably why it has been such a abysmal failure.

Looks like you probably have a gripe with Bush Family cronies son, and the damage they do to our government, the military FEMA and everything else a Bush crony touched …..

Too bad the GOP is FULL is right wing Bush …. cronies eh?

  14. I’m going to try to stick to my new online rule of not responding to brainwashed and blind Bush water carriers like JFH. Reading
his twisted, misguided logic laced with his stubborn defense of the Bushites is like repeatingly pounding ones head into a brickwall and find responding to his foolish comments is a total waste of my time.

  15. It makes you wonder what else the Bush Regime has done? Maybe Benazir Bhutto’s assassination? Hey, why not. Spit. Assholes.

Uncle, the trolls are getting dumber and dumber. Just ignore them.

  16. Okay, I probably won’t comment here anymore… I’ve gotten what I intended. I wanted to do an experiment by trying to engage a left wing site with reasonable debate and have found that’s not possible.

I find it humorous and telling that all my opinions are moronic and stupid in you4 view. In fact, it’s not just my opinions, but that I’m stupid and a moron. That’s strange because by most objective measures, I’m pretty sure I’d be considered smarter than you. I finished in the top 10% at USNA, one of the most selective schools in the nation. I finished at the top of my class in nuclear power school which is even more select and qualified as a nuclear engineer (the first time, which after all this selectivity, is even more remarkable). I got my MBA with a 4.0 GPA. My GMAT scores were in the 99 percentile and my IQ is 144. My critical thinking skills and knowledge of logic and statistics probably far exceeds most of you.

Y’all however, seem to confuse facts with opinions and faulty conclusions (that doesn’t mean your conclusions and opinions aren’t wrong, but merely not backed up by what most people would agree with any level of certainty). My purpose was to gather these exchanges and produce (on another blog) a detailed analysis of why it is usually impossible to have an open exchange with many on the left wing of politics (any more than it is possible to have a religious discussion with evangelicals).

You are so certain you are right that you’re incapable of conceding any point or be opinion to any other opinion than your own. This is not meant to be condesending, but, I truly feel sorry for you as you cannot look beyond your politics and find any agreement on any issue with someone with different politics than you.

  17. JFH: ” Heck even MS which was hit by the Cat 5 winds (unlike LA which winds only made it to the Cat 3 level), is doing far better than LA. Strange how “red” areas recover so much better than the “blue” areas… Maybe it’s ‘cus those cities and states don’t sit back and wait for the Federal government to help them out…”

You’re wrong. Mississippi is no further along with rebuilding than we here in Louisiana. Some of the casinos have rebuilt, but all other commerce is lagging. Insurance settlement suits are clogging their courts just as badly as in Louisiana. (And, believe me, Mississippi has accepted every penny of Federal aid that Louisiana has per capita.) Mississippi was hit by category five winds, but the problem in Louisiana never is the wind. It’s the flooding. A good deal of our inland resources are below sea level. It’s a very different landscape from the Mississippi Gulf Coast. But what no one ever seems to mention is the fact that, while Mississippi was hit by Katrina, Louisiana was hit by two hurricanes in short succession. We got hit by Rita as well.

And I don’t know where you get the idea that Louisiana is a “blue” state, or that coastal Louisiana is a “blue” area. We’ve elected some Democrats, but they’re all bluedogs. I promise you, there isn’t any measure that makes sense anywhere else in the U.S. by which anyone can measure Louisiana politics. It’s a unique beast. But we aren’t a blue state by any measure. You’re just a bigot using the term “blue” in place of black. What you mean to say is that the blacks in Louisiana are waiting on a handout. Why don’t you just say it?

  18. Oh, and Hurricane Andrew didn’t just hit Florida. After it went across the peninsula, you might recall, it went back into the Gulf and then hit Louisiana. It ripped a hundred mile asshole all the way up the I-10 corridor from Grand Isle all the way to Baton Rouge. FEMA performed wonderfully and saved a lot of lives. Of course, that wasn’t George “Heckuvajob” Bush’s FEMA.

  19. Kay and friends: Thinking about Katrina reminds me of one of the silliest FOX moments I can think of. I remember while people were still in the Superdome, that Shep guy — the one with the two glass eyes — and Geraldo “Capone’s Vault” Rivera standing on the Claibone exit of I-10 pointing to a bridge saying, “Why can’t these people just walk out of here? There’s a bridge! Why can’t they just walk out of here on that bridge?”

Get out a map and look at New Orleans. The bridge Geraldo was pointing to was the Mississippi River bridge that would’ve taken him south of New Orleans. What do you see on your map, south of New Orleans?

  20. The republicans have a magnificent and tragic way of making it appear that government doesn’t work. See that is their goal, they want to privatize everything so that their cronies can create companies to provide services to Americans at a high cost. Lets de-regulate so that Wallstreet and corporations can police themselves and make obscene profits and then watch them cry and beg for handouts when the shit hits the fan. I believe we have seen what is called corporate socialism and the American people have become the insurance companies to Wallstreet and corporate America.

  21. Fester do you think the republicans should start a new campaign based on their bumper sticker mentality;

    Government doesn’t work;

elect us and we will prove it.

  22. Clif…LMAO! Well they have proven it since ’94 in congress and since 2000 in the White house.

  23. Bye JFH! We had a feeling you were a troll pretending to be a liberal. Have fun feeding at the trough with the rest of the Pigs at the Little Green Footballs or RedState or! We won’t miss ya.

  24. Cheney, Lieberman, McCain = The faces of the real Axis Of Evil. Of course if there was a Mt. Rushmore for the Axis Of Evil it would include the profiles of Bush, Rumsfeld, Rove, Wolfowitz, Rice, Feith, Addington, Gonzales, Armitage, O’Reilly, Hannity, Limpbaugh, Savage, Coulter…

Evil Fascists Rushmore. Wow. Can you imagine that, Uncle? There aren’t enough mountains on the planet to put all their faces on!
LMAO! Kay I was thinking that very same thing as I was typing it! :)
