John McCain’s first wife, Carol, suffered worst injuries than he did as a POW in Vietnam

(pic)

And what did Johnny McTeleprompter do when he saw his wife’s body in the shape of an Etch-A-Sketch (worse shape than his own) upon returning from Vietnam? He left her and started dating his current wife, Cindy, because Carol was no longer pretty.

Nice, huh?

You’d think the Big Bad POW guy would have not seen Carol’s wounds she suffered in a car wreck? You would have thought that after he was shot down and had similar wounds and had spent some days in his captivity being tortured, that he would have not judged his wife like that? Nope! Ole Johnny apparently felt he was more desirable not being able to lift his arms above his head and decided to dump the “ugly” wife for the younger wife who was the sole heir of a beer distribution company!

What an asshole John McCain is.

Carol McCain suffered 2 broken legs, a broken pelvis, had gained weight, and had a broken arm. She had at least 12 surgeries and by the time her treatment was over, she lost @ 5 inches of her total height. Her husband left her for a much younger pretty woman too.

And Johnny’s injuries as a POW?

He had 2 broken arms & legs (injuries incurred when his plane was shot down), spent some time being tortured (arms rebroken), spent time in a bamboo cage, came home & left his wife because he found her repulsive, and went on to became a US Senator where he experienced wealth & celebrity. To this day, his time as a POW comes in handy when he wants or needs something. He’s basically a mental case, but you’re not supposed to know that.

Anyways

Nancy & Ronald Reagan, Ross Perot and Ed Meese were the only people in Carol McCain’s life that took care of her, even though ole Johnny McTeleprompter said he would. He basically abandoned her while others took care of her. Nice huh?

Is this the kind of experience we want and need in the White House…..a guy who will abandoned anyone who isn’t pretty and not wealthy? Wow. No thanks!

Johnny McTeleprompter loves George Bush more than he ever loved Carol McCain his first wife….

There is some discrepancy as to when he actually married Cindy McCain. Was he still married to Carol at the time his marriage to Cindy was happening? Could be. You be the judge. Johnny is a man who is self-centered, selfish, narcissistic, and obviously views disabled people as the pond scum of the earth (OF COURSE, JOHNNY IS GETTING NAVAL DISABILITY PENSION BENEFITS BECAUSE OF HIS INJURIES and is married to a woman WHO OWNS 8 HOMES AND IS WORTH HUNDREDS OF MILLIONS OF DOLLARS!). It makes sense that he would rush to marry the new young pretty wife to get away from the horribly disfigured first wife and didn’t check to see if his divorce was final yet!

As far as I’m concerned….

Carol McCain is a stronger individual than Johnny McTeleprompter could ever dream of being. Carol is the TRUE HERO HERE….not Johnny. She’s been through way more in her life than he has.

John McCain is a scumbag who is not fit to be our next president.
In the question of morals and character McCain does not measure up. He left his first wife who remained loyal to him while he was a POW for 5 years. He left his first wife because her appearance had changed physically due to sever injuries she received in a car accident and hooked up with a younger, richer woman. Does this sound like a man we want as president. Someone with no loyalty, who will go where the grass appears to be greener? Will he sell out our country if it benefits him personally?

McCain’s health and mental state are and should be big topics of concern as he is trying to become the leader of our country. It is very questionable whether McCain has the stamina, vigor, mental capacity and temperment to deal with the complex problems that our country faces. As Reagans health deteriorated it is a known fact that UNELECTED members of his cabinet were pretty much running the show along with George HW. Bush and implementing their agenda. Is this what we want to go thru again?

Another big concern is McCains out of touch views with domestic issues including healthcare, social security and the economy. He also seems to be way out of the loop when it comes to technology, the information age, etc. Do we really want a man who is out of touch with the reality of everyday life and the technology used in everyday life to become our next president?

One of the most alarming traits of John McCain is his keen ability to deny things he stated weeks, days or months ago. Is it selective memory, a failing memory or is he just a bald face liar and panderer who would say and do anything that he knows will benefit him whether financially or to get votes.

Another alarming trait of John McCain is his judgement. To this day he believes Vietnam was a good and just war. He publically speaks of bombing other countries, he publically seeked the support of a KNOWN hate monger in Pastor Hagee, he has more ties to lobbists then a salesman has ties in his closet. Is this the kind of judgement we need in a man who could be our next president?

If the above red flags do not scare voters than his links to the Neocons should do the job as it has been their policies over the last eight years that got us into the disaster in Iraq. Oh they they had bigger plans. They orginally thought we could invade and take over Iraq, Iran, Syria and North Korea in one big, easy swoop. They underestimated the will of the people who do not want foreign occupiers in their country. Do we really want a president who will continue the failed foreign, scorched earth policies of the past 8 years?

Lastly, McCain is running as a war hero and experienced politician. War hero is questionable, but unlike George W. Bush at least he served his country during a time of war, BUT this does not make him a military expert or a better president. As for his experience, well yes he does have that over Barack Obama, but during his time as a senator what legislation has he passed that really helped this country. One could say that he has been paret of the problem of what is wrong with our government and now our country.

In the L.A. Times article Kay links to in the body of this thread, McCain, after coming back from Vietnam, seeing his somewhat disfigured and now a bit overweight wife, told friends she wasn’t the woman “he had married”! Of course she wasn’t, as Carol, a former model who suffered a near-fatal and horrible auto accident was now over 40…JUST LIKE JOHNNY PLAYBOY had become! Maybe he hadn’t vowed to take Carol “for better or for worse, in sickness and in health” when he married her (but then the biggest travesty is changing one’s mind about not taking public financing! /snark).

So Johnny traded wife #1 in for a new model with a new car smell, a 24 year old blond ex-USC cheerleader sorority girl and MOST IMPORTANT, the only child of a beer baron worth $100 MILLION bucks. Johnny was a “player” when he was learning to fly planes in Pensacola, frequenting “tittie bars” and even dating a stripper for awhile. He was 42, in his “middle-aged crazies”, when he met the 24-year-old blond bombshell, Cindy Hensley and started that affair. When I look at McCain I think of the old adage, “The tiger doesn’t change its stripes” although in John’s case I think he has painted on some new ones.

I love Nancy Reagan’s most tepid “endorsement” of McCain when he appeared with her at the Reagan Library in March, saying….
“Ronnie and I always waited until everything was decided, and then we endorsed. Well, obviously THIS [piece of shit] is the nominee of the party.”

Not sure what Nancy meant by “this” (I added the piece of shit) but I am gaining more respect for Nancy’s judgment of character. After all, she once told Cindy Adams of the New York Post (then denied it later), that George W. Bush was the “village idiot”! I don’t think there was much “love” between the Reagans and the Bushes and Junior could be a nuisance when his Poppy was VP. Nancy also wasn’t keen when Poppy Bush took over the presidential reins when her own Poppy was shot. She never seemed to like the ambitious Vice President Bush and there has been contention that Bush failed in a coup d’état to become president by having Ronnie bumped off by John Hinckley, of the Hinckley family that had had long time relations with George H.W. Bush starting with a friendship formed when both were in the oil business.

  3. kayinmaine says:

Grant, Nancy Reagan pretty much summed it up about how she felt about Dick Cheney and the New GOP….she shrugged Dick Cheney away from her when she was standing at her husband’s casket. I could tell she’s had enough of the New Right Wing Nazi’s bullcrap!

Okay, I’m back from State Representative Terry Hayes’ party and am going shortly to join my neighbor at her 3rd Annual Meadow Party next to the river. Good times. ;-)

By the way Uncle, you are spot on about Johnny McTeleprompter’s character! He has none. He’s a typical republican.

  4. Carl Nemo says:

Basically John McInsane is a capital grade “prick” during his few moments of lucidity throughout the day… : |

Anyone that’s enamoured with this guy needs either serious counseling or to join him in the boobie hatch where he so deservedly belongs…!

  5. Al Sack says:

McCain made his first Giant mistake apponting Sarah as his (running mate) they never call her McCain s choice for Vice President. It points to the flawed decisions McCain makes. But by accepting the call from McCain to be Vice President shows realy bad judgement of Sarah. She betrayed the Alaska voters that worked and backed her for Governer… not tooo smart.

  6. mary says:

John McCain was with his first wife for 7 years after he came home from Vietnam. It’s not like he took one look at her and ran away! They were only married for 15 years total and 5.5 of those years he was a war prisoner. They were married less than two years when he went to war and for 7 years after he got back. For the MAJORITY of their time together, she was disabled. If he had a problem with her post-accident disfigurements, he wouldn’t have lasted that long. It’s simply a case of two young people who endured traumatic events and changed into different people. Statistically, most marriages don’t survive those kinds of ordeals. Studies are now showing that divorce rates among New Orleans residents went way up after hurricane Katrina, and how much worse it would be to be a tortured prisoner of war.

  7. s k hunt says:

Everyone needs to stop listening to media and start listening to the candidates. The media is so bias that we are not getting a true picture of any of this. McCain is not a perfect man, neither is Obama. The Democrats sure jump on the r Republicans moral weakness but seem to have the ability to overlook the major errors of their own. What is important now is to keep this country strong, it does not matter which party does it we just need the right person in there. The media needs to be shut down until after the election, they are out of control.

  8. Grant in Texas says:

So I guess you are against a FREE press, want them shut down? That’s what they used to do in the Soviet Union, Nazi Germany, and even today yet in Red China. However, the very FIRST amendment to our Constitution was to grant “freedom of the press”! What about our Constitution don’t you like?

  9. Leprakans says:

I really could care less how many wives McCain has had or Obama for that matter. I don’t see any one taking Clinton to task for his numerous affairs. That sure was shitty of him to leave Hillary with egg on her face publicly when he said and I quote ” I did not have sexual relations with that women.” So don’t sit there and talk about morals. What is comes down to and what we should be voting on is which man you want and think can run the country.

In Hillary’s own words” John McCain has a life time of service to this country. Obama has a speech from 2004.” Even his own VP Biden said that he did not think Obama had the experience or was ready to lead this country… When asked will you stand by that statement? Biden said yes. So even Obama’s Democrat friends really don’t think much him… says a lot….

  10. clif says:

10 year OLD allegations is the best ya got?

You CLOWNS are really THAT desperate?

What about all the things Mayor 9-11, Gov nice hair flip flopper and Gov extreme wing nut religion says about Grampa McGrumpy?

    bhahwhahwhahwahwhaaaa,

  11. independent me says:

I’m an independent voter; however this year I will vote for John McCain. There are many reasons, including the fact that Obama is not actually a Democrat; he is a Communist. Both his economic plan and healthcare plan are based in Communist theory and will lead to an economic collapse the likes of which we’ve never seen. What is amazing to me is when I run across sites such as this when looking for information on the election, I am stunned by how it seems the “Democrats” are angry, name-callers, irrational, and generally unable to spell correctly. What’s up with that? Democrats used to be reasonable people – what is happening to that party?

  12. kayinmaine says:

Interesting, an “independent” who voted for a fascist at least twice, will do it again, but thinks Barack Obama is a commie, when really, George Bush is the real Commie.

Fascist neocons have for years online called liberals every single name in the book, but as we can tell from “Mr. Independent”, he doesn’t remember this because he was too busy participating in it and now is a big ole TYPICAL RIGHT WING HYPOCRITE.

Thanks for stopping by. Now leave. You won’t be missed!

  13. kayinmaine says:

Remember when the Swift Boaters who went after John McCain back in 2000 and are now Johnny McTeleprompter’s best friends forever? Oh boy. And you’re worried about Hillary flip flopping on Barack because she now knows better than to support the lying, stinking, old wrinkly guy?

  14. kayinmaine says:

I remember the neocons/repubs/conservatives blaming the liberals for everything THEY DIDN’T DO (BUT HAVE COMPLAINED ABOUT) WHEN THEY HAD THE CHANCE.

Why is it now you neocons can’t see how hypocritical you’re being? Is Ronnie Reagan’s ghost living in ya? Appears so. You’re just as stupid as he was!

  15. Grant in Texas says:

Obama is hardly left. In fact I’ve been arguing with some Naderites on another blog who are trying to get Democrats to dump Obama because they think he has been moving too far to the right.

I see the neocons, who hijacked my old GOP, are becoming SOCIALISTS today, bailing out Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, in a gesture of Wall Street SOCIALISM. Last year, for example, the CEO of Freddie Mac took home a cool $18,289,575. Fannie Mae CEO Daniel Mudd reaped a 7 percent raise in his pay to $13.4 million in 2007 while his company lost $2.1 billion and its shares fell 33%.

IOW, for the conservatives, corporatize the profits with runaway capitalism, but SOCIALIZE the losses to rescue all of the well-heeled big investors!

Republicans seem ideologically committed to these kinds of arrangements. In Medicare for example, conservatives have demanded that the government subsidize private insurance companies to compete with public Medicare, even though Medicare provides healthcare at a lower cost. When Bush and the DeLay Congress drove through the prescription drug bill, they included a provision that PROHIBITS Medicare from negotiating cheaper prices for drugs, effectively turning the bill from a benefit to Seniors to a multi-billion subsidy to private drug companies (not surprisingly, after Wall Street, the drug companies finance one of the most lavish and powerful lobbies in Washington).

Wow, what a bunch of nut-jobs on this site. Whew!!

  17. Uncle Fester Lurks says:

Of course Chuckie is talking about his fellow idiot reich wing nutjob trolls!

  18. Gorge says:

Seriously people?? If we are to judge McCain’s past then for those of us those of us who voted for Bill Clinton weren’t so blind to his acts of adultery. Even further back in history we have John F. Kennedy and his “lonely” nights. People are faulty and they are gong to sin, so what is the real issue behind the judgment?

  19. Uncle Fester Lurks says:

Gorge, Clintons affair already happened after he was elected, many of us were too young to vote for JFK. Yes people are faulty but most people aren’t running for the most powerful job in the world. Besides McCain is part of the reich who forgive their own when they have affairs or divorces yet they judge the rest of the country.

Don’t think that is what we are judging him on though. For me personally, his age is a huge factor. His health is a huge factor. His judgement is a huge factor. The polices he wants to continue are a huge factor. He is a war monger who seems to shoot from the hip just like Bush. His ties to lobbists like Randy Schuneman and Phil Grams and his legendary temper.

  20. Karen says:

I was too young to vote for JFK, but I do remember that election. Yeah, I’m old.

I actually met John McCain once and had a conversation with him, back in the ’80’s. I was impressed at the time. He seemed to be concerned about people, and health care.

    He’s had what – a quarter century – to make a difference.

Bush has managed to destroy the economy along with the strength and integrity of America in 8 years.

You wanna believe I’m voting for my ol’ buddy John McCain! He’s the man to get the job done! Forget his moral indiscretions (hasn’t anyone dug up one on Obama yet?), we know he’s the man for the job – hey, he was a POW in Vietnam! (hey, leave Vietnam alone – that was MY generation’s war!)

So, yeah, I’m voting my buddy John McCain, and his pal Palin – because she’s a woman and a fine one at that – refused to have an abortion, unconditionally supports her unwed pregnant teenager. I’m okay with all that, but what really impresses me is her credentials. Mayor of a town of 6000. Everyone in Alaska is behind her. I’m on the Republican bandwagon this year, I tell ya!

    NOT.

  21. don says:

Has your past been perfect? If “bomma america” gets in, you will think back and realize your past was pleasant.

  22. kayinmaine says:

“Bomb bomb bomb Iran” McCain was fine with 9/11 and didn’t shed a tear when hurricane Katrina wiped out the Gulf Coast. He hates Russia and should not be near the nuke codes if you know what I mean! Wow. Scary.

  23. loutre_des_mers says:

All the men would do the same. Statistically men dump their wife if she becomes ugly. It is human behavior and not McCain in particular. This is sad but Obama would probably do the same and maybe everyone of us ?

  24. Grant in Texas says:

Speak for yourself TROLL!!! And WHERE are you statistics??? But then TROLLS don’t ever give credible links to credible studies.

  25. kayinmaine says:

Only right wing men dump their wives if they become ugly. Liberal men love their women to their core and love them as they change through their lives.

  26. Grant in Texas says:

In religious ceremonies, we most often hear…to have and to hold, from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness or in health, to love and to cherish ’till death do us part.

And I thought the reich-wingers were religious???

  27. Winefred says:

Two important facts, the only ones that are of any interest to the public on this matter. Carol McCain has said that she will vote for her ex-husband and that he would make a great president. Their three children have made peace with both their parents and support McCain. BTW, their two eldest sons are only McCain’s by adoption, since Carol was married to another man, their father, when she met John, and left her husband for him. This is not to imply that there was any justice in her being abandoned by John — it’s still wrong — but she certainly was one who knows how fickle affection can be. McCain has paid all her medical bills, and settled her with a home and a comfortable living. He calls his marital failure the worst thing he has ever done. She has made peace with it, and with him. Get over it.

  28. clif says:

    Yo winefred …

    Mccains a losin’ ……

    So like you said;

Get used it …. or get over it.

  29. Kay is KrAzY says:

"Only right wing men dump their wives if they become ugly. Liberal men love their women to their core and love them as they change through their lives."
    Really Kay?
Do you think that just because Bill and Hillary are still together , he stayed faithful to his marriage? Hes Liberal. How can you make such generalizations?
I am 100% Democrat and you make me ashamed to be part of the party.

  30. Grant in Texas says:

    I am Martian, too!!!

  31. kayinmaine says:

Join the republic party, Loser! We Democrats won’t miss ya since there are way more registered Democrats than republics at the moment. Bye!

  32. kayinmaine says:

By the way, Bill & Hillary are still together. He didn’t dump her. She made peace with him. End of story. Meanwhile, republics are tearing their families apart because their wives have become ugly! See? Your theory doesn’t hold.
