Whatever the Bush administration says, under international law, 911 wasn’t an act of war unless a nation State was involved, and these five men are civillians. So they should be tried as civillians in the criminal courts and given due process. But if Obama criticises these show trials, the Republicans will paint him as soft on terror, and he can’t condone them without effectively reversing his position on torture.

Gage, McSame can’t pick the Lierman, as he just got ’schooled’ by Barack Obama in the US Senate yesterday, and now wants to hide in his mommy’s basement.

BTW this is the same reason Bill just realized he really doesn’t want Hillary becomin’ Barack’s VP.

He should check out Sen Macaca, after all he ain’t doin’ much and he USED to be a senator.

Or maybe Sen Man on Dog, he could help with Pennsylvania, and the man on dog vote, which I hear is a large constituency in the closeted right-wing world. (paging Larry Craig, mark Foley, and a whole host of repug, staffers.) It just might help McSame with the party’s base who doesn’t like him very much.

He could ask Jeb Bush, (he ain’t doin nut-thin’ right now.) Oh right he is tryin’ to say he really, really ain’t a third Bush term. Seriously the man tries to foist that crap with a straight face.

On the other hand he could ask K Bailey Hutchison, but she looks like a female version of McSame, which to most people reminds them of tales from the crypt, and that pleasant death warmed over look.

I guess he just might go into congress and ask which of the thirty or so sitting congress-criminals from the repugnant party who are gonna lose in November,(ask Charlie Cook)

Liebermann is who I expect he’ll actually pick, but I think McClone can be more creative than that! Here are some possibilities:

1. Ben Stine, (you know, the uber-conservative Clear Eyes guy.) He’s a monotone as well. Perhaps they’ll harmonize.
2. The ghost of Strom Thurmond.
3. Hey, wake up Fred Thompson and see if he’ll give it a go.
4. Barry Manilow. He can do the elevator music in the background when McClone gives a speech.
5. How about Hillary? If her devotees are truly going to vote for McClone over Obama, why not give them the whole
package?
