19 interrogation techniques is not enough for the Bush Monster

(they’re rearing their ugly heads again!)

I bet the Hillary Monster would also agree using ONLY 19 interrogation techniques on the people our CIA captures and doesn’t charge with a crime is not enough to keep our nation safe. Right Hillary Monster?

Bush thinks WATERBOARDING must be added and he will veto the Bill in front of him, because without this technique, our nation will be attacked in 34.6 minutes. See? Spit.

From the Associated Press:

WASHINGTON (AP) — President Bush is poised to veto legislation that would bar the CIA from using waterboarding — a technique that simulates drowning — and other harsh interrogation methods on terror suspects.
>
The president planned to talk about the veto in his Saturday radio address.
>
Bush has said the bill would harm the government’s ability to prevent future attacks. Supporters of the legislation argue that it preserves the United States’ right to collect critical intelligence while boosting the country’s moral standing abroad.
>
“The bill would take away one of the most valuable tools on the war on terror, the CIA program to detain and question key terrorist leaders and operatives,” deputy White House press secretary Tony Fratto said Friday.

Of course, the McCrazy Monster (John McCain), who was a POW during the Vietnam war, thinks WATERBOARDING SHOULD BE ALL THE RAGE FOR THE CIA! Oh yes, I’m sure a POW running American would bring about peace throughout the planet, don’t you? McCrazy, I’m sure, would have no problem with the CIA putting someone in a cage for six years and ripping his or her arms out of the sockets and waterboarding them at the same time either.

How many more Monsters will it take for Americans to realize we don’t need any more Monsters running our nation? Huh?

  1. Actually McCain (Bush may hold different opinions) was against the Bill because it limited the CIA to only those techniques specifically allowed under UCMJ. He said flat-out that waterboarding was torture.

Since torture is illegal, we’d all be better served by creating legislation that clearly defines what torture is rather than the “feel good” measures we’re trying right now. But then maybe the Dems don’t want to end torture as much as they want to attack the Reps.

  2. Jonolan, he may have said that outloud, but as soon as he went back into the Senate, he voted against the Democrat’s anti-waterboarding bill. He loves torture now because he’s running for president and wants to impress the knuckledraggers of the Neocon Party! See?

Waterboarding is clearly defined as being torture and illegal in the Geneva Conventions. Ask Bush what he and Dick Cheney think about the Geneva Convention. They spit on it!

This explains why Bush refused to keep America’s signature on the International Criminal Court back in early 2001. War criminals….every last one of them.

  3. Well, at least there won’t have to be an investigation at the Hauge. Our president admits it all. ..telecom immunity is writing law that violates the constitution. Send ‘em all back to where they came from.

  4. Molly, exactly. We have a criminal president who has to break the law to make himself feel like he’s within the law. See? He should be dragged to the Hague if you know what I mean. ;-)

Gage, a snake is a snake is a snake. :-)

  5. It’s 2-headed like a Monster, Gage. LOL I think it’s appropriate considering the Monsters we have in government and running for the presidency right now. Agree?

Lots of snakes in the grass. ;-)

  6. Kay, the Dems “anti-waterboarding” Bill was actually a Bill to limit the CIA to ONLY those practices allowed by UCMJ. It was not a “you can’t do…” Bill; it was a “you can ONLY do…” Bill. I hope you can see the difference. That was McCain’s complaint. Bush may well have a different agenda.

I’d like – not that it matters – them to come up with a US legal definition of torture that isn’t completely subjective and “fluid.” I think it would do more lasting good.

BTW: We’re in agreement on waterboarding being torture.

Also, that’s a king snake, not a milk snake, Gage. LOL! Wouldn’t hurt anything except rodents and other snakes.

  7. Exactly. The Dems have no problem with 19 INTERROGATION TECHNIQUES, but they do have a problem with waterboarding….as does George Bush. Everyone seems on board with this. Me? I think if we’re going to torture those we capture we have no right to call anyone in another country a terrorist if they’re torturing the Americans they capture. See? If 19 isn’t enough, then why on earth torture in the first place?!!!!!

The Geneva Convention was fine before the Bush Pigs came around.

The 19 interrogation techniques used by our military over the years was sufficient, but not according to those who are profiting from George Bush’s illegal occupation of Iraq and his so-called waronterra.

  8. For those Abloggers who have arrived here after I was banned by Karol two minutes ago, here’s the comment I made that didn’t get posted:

“Hillary attacking and going against Barack shouldn’t be a surprise, because this kind of thing has been happening since the 2006 mid-term election. Instead of attacking the right wingers of our nation, we’ve decided to attack our own because it’s easier and less scary. Me? Attacking the right wingers is what we should be doing. Oh, but what the hell do I know!!! LOL It’s my understanding we now have to join hands with the trolls to show the nation we are nice and don’t like to fight. Booooooooring.”

See? Freedom of speech is only for the right wing trolls and the former republicans who pretend to be progressive liberals over there on Ablog! What a fascist right wing site Ablog has become! Loving it.

  9. I know! Wow Ox! Poor Karol Egor with the hump and bulging eye! She can’t stand the fact that I’m liked over there no matter what she and Johnny tell themselves. They’ve made Ablog into the newest Little Green Footballs of the Internet all by themselves! I love it. Today was proof that they prefer right wingers and ass kissers. LOL!

  10. What does it mean, Ox? Is Johnny Foo Foo working on it or is Haloscan down which has caused Ablog to go down? I don’t know but it sure is freaky! LOL

  11. Me too. And you know what? I honestly don’t care if Ablog is up or running. Why? Because it’s a laughable right wing site now. Lurking over there is like listening in on a Nazi Pancake Breakfast. LOL! And don’t even get me started on how dull some of the Nazis are over there either. Dave of the Jungle is one of the few who is consistently funny and shows a personality. The rest just click their jackboots together, grab their crotches, and sing, “We love Johnny! We love Johnny! We love Johnny and we hate to see right wing trolls banned!”.

  12. Actually believe it was just a coincidence because in the past two days numerous sites that are anti-neocon have been hacked. Anyone who speaks against Hillary is having problems, and she has been a neocon since the mid 1980′s.

  13. Really Ox? Why is my blog still up? LOL You’d think it would have been eaten like my last White Noise Insanity blog! Maybe the neocon’s tummies are full? Could be.

  14. I don’t see Ablog as being anti-neocon, do you? The fact that a few regulars made nice comments to me after I was banned tells me the neocons crashed Ablog in retaliation to those Kay Likers. See? LOL When it’s a Kay Hating blog the neocons and the neo-liberals run around throwing rose petals and singing Nationalist songs!

  15. Does that two headed snake represent our government or did Kay come across a photo of Karol and mirth? Sorry I just couldn’t resist! :)

  16. It was a toss up, Uncle, on the picture. I couldn’t decide if a 2-headed snake or a picture of 2 Lonely Women would be the best pick. Bah hahahahahahahahahaha!
