My frat in 1958 had a kegger featuring porn movies where we sold tickets to guys in other frats. That was back in the day when porn was very much underground but we knew a crooked cop who had confiscated 8mm porn films and rented them for a good price. So in a basement "rec" room packed shoulder-to-shoulder, one "brother" goes out to the center to tap the keg and it started to blow up, spraying the whole room. That quick-thinking brother, like a Marine in a John Wayne film, threw his whole body on top of the keg, saving most of us from a soaking. It was funny seeing the beer bubbling up through his clothes, but he "saved the day". The old black & white porn films were scratchy, suffered from bad lighting, and often featured ugly and too hairy amateurs performing at some cheap motel. The best part wasn't the bad sex, it was the funny comments that kept flying from one side of the room to the other. Underage drinking and ILLEGAL porn...how BAD we thought we were in the innocent age of Eisenhower and "Leave It to Beaver" which itself sounded like a title to a porn film! UFL. Not sure if you're familiar with 13 year old lingo, but every other word is, "Dude". Yep, all day I've heard, "Hey dude, what do you think of this?", or, "Dude, is that Michelle on your page? Dude, scroll up! I can't stand her face, Dude!", or, "Yeah Dude, whatever you say, Dude". Hysterical. They even talk about their mothers, which is very surprising to me. You'd think at 13 they'd talk about everything but their mothers! Nope. Not these boys. One called home to see if he could spend the night (both boys are also spending the night) and at the end of the call he said, "I love you too, Mom". How cute! My son also says those words, but it was nice to hear his friends say it too. They're a great bunch of kids.
