    For your information, Jenn is an atheist. Also, to broaden your knowledge of the threat you say doesn’t exist … research the Muslim Brotherhood and Wahhabiism.

    It also appears you’re against “jackboot” government, which is great, because that means you’re inclined to a small, less powerful and influential government. I’m with you there. A smaller government means more control and power is in the hands of the people. Government should be shrinking, and more and more responsility returmed to the people … don’t you agree?

She and Chris Matthews would be a quite a pair, yeah yeah, they could stand on the sidewalk and put down women for making medical decisions about their lives or for staying with their husbands if they were cheated on. Control freaks. Defending Chris Matthews is proof that Jenn has some women-hating issues.

    Darwin, the threat was there in the 1980’s. How come Bush Sr. and Ronnie Raygun did nothing? Oh that’s right! They love this terrorism shit…just look at what Dick Cheney & Georgie Bush have done! Happened on George Bush’s watch after he ignored the warnings and then on the morning of 9/11 he said, “That guy is a bad pilot” knowing full well a month before the PDB said Osama determined to strike the US using commercial airliners. If it wasn’t an inside job, then the assholes leading our country allowed the attack to happen. That’s how I see it.

    I’m not afraid of a bunch of yahoos wanting to kill Americans. Why? Because as an atheist there is no afterlife for me and I will live my life the way I choose to and will not be afraid.     Two people responded … not a mass of readers as you imply. No one “freaked out”, but merely replied. Since liberals seem to fancy themselves as protectors of the 1st Amendment, I find it odd that you try to stifle it by personal attacks. The key to guaranteeing free speech is to welcome all sides of it. To shut down even the most offensive, distasteful or even speech you don’t agree with is the first step towards totalitarianism. The constant use of the word “hate” and “haters” is one example of the left attempting to shut speech down. Whether one hates or loves is not, and shouldn’t be the concern of anyone … especially the government.

    As you do seem “freak out” in your own comments, I would suggest in the future you not project your “freakness”, or exaggerate the comments of others. Thanks.

    I blogged about Tweety recently.

    Apparently, he has a major case of penis envy because he thinks Keith Olberman — who wins the 8pm M-F timeslot, runs MSNBC and Tweety doesn’t like it.

    About his obsession with Hillary, well, I happen to despise Hillary Clinton. She voted for Bush’s Iraq war, voted for Bush’s USA Patriot Act, the reauthorization of the USA Patriot Act, she voted to recognize Iran’s Revolutionary Guard as a “terrorist organization,” she’s antigay to her core and I find her screeching, braying voice maddening. So, I’m not exactly bothered by Tweety’s comments about Hillary.

    What is peculiar about him is his endless remarks about the attractiveness of female guests. He shamelessly comments on how “attractive” or “pretty” a woman on his panel is and it makes the guest look uncomfortable. He’s like a 50 year old frant boy with a beer belly and a bad case of erectile dysfunction who can’t stop talking about poontang. I want to scream at him to grow up or STFU.

    I think his days at MSNBC may be numbered. He seems to be better suited for Fox Noise than MSNBC. I don’t think he will go to CNN because CNN is all about Leslie and AIPAC.

    Darwin I live in the United States of America and served in the United States Army, so what ever they do in Europe or Canada is NOT relevant to the USA, get it?

    I spend most of my time worrying what MY country is doing not over seas, even though In was stationed in Germany at one time.

    Even though I spent 6 months in the desert in 1990-1991, I don’t worry too much what Kuwait, Saudi Arabia or Iraq is doing, especially I do NOT believe it was OUR right to illegally invade Iraq and depose Saddam, THAT was the Iraqi’s job, NT our job, because i would fight just as hard as the Iraqis are if anybody invaded the US to depose bush, IT IS OUR job to either deal with the shrub, or impeach him, NOBODY ELSE has the right to do so.

    BTW bozo the democrats have NO plans that is a LIE son a dishonest lie and nothing more, in fact it was BUSH and the reichwingers who attacked people’s rights to free speech for the last 7 years especially after 9-11 NOT the democrats son.

    THAT is the truth even if YOU don’t like it.

    Clinton will inherit a world that will cause her to continue the fight against radical islam and the tyrants of the world … or capitulate to them.

    If, as President, Clinton deems it necessary to extract information from thugs to preserve the lives of others … I’ll stand by her decision. As President, one obviously has access to much more information than the average person. I would have to, to an extent, trust her, her judgement and that of Congress to do whatever they need to do to protect America, her citizens and her interests from the thugs around the world just salivating to bring her down.

    The world is infinitely more complicated than you paint it. If a democrat wins, and they have to deal with life or death decisions, we’ll see how you react to those decisions. I guarantee you probably won’t like what they do.

    Having said that,… there was a blog called “Open Letter To Chris Matthews” http://openlettertochrismatthews.blogspot.com and it was active from January through June 2006.

    Lots of documentation of his atrocious behavior. Lots of comments. Lots of letters written. Lots of nothing accomplished.

    Chris will have a show on MSNBC until MSNBC closes shop or one of the Manson family pops a cap in his crown. I really hate writing that but it’s the truth.

    It consoles me to know that Chris Matthews is livid over the thought that Keith Olbermann is top dog at the network. I hope Chris is steaming in his own juices, currently rated at 151 proof.

    Grow up Cliffy, the Saudi/US relationship was founded by Roosevelt, a democrat, and has continued with every US President regardless of party. Anything Bush has done with the Saudi’s has been a continuation of every President before him. I don’t care for the Saudi’s any more than you do and wish we could sever ties right now.

    The US by 1961 had a treaty to protect the country it created South Vietnam, and it’s President Deim, who was no longer living in New Jersey, but pretending to be the “popular” president of south Vietnam;

    After the widely discredited re-election of Ngo Dinh Diem in 1955, Landsdale is said to have advised Diem to revise the 98.2 percent victory he claimed down to 70 percent to make it more plausible, advice which Diem did not take.

    Well NO US President can by himself ignore a duly ratified treaty.

    So the Dulles brothers made sure they would be able to limit the choices the US administrations had because they created a government where one hadn’t existed, then forged a treaty with that US puppet government.

    And then used that treaty in the US to send in the original troops and advisors in the 1950’s which is why Edward Landsdale was there long before John Kennedy even ran for President;

    The treaty with South Vietnam is sort of very similar to the way Bush is trying to tie the hands of future Administrations in Iraq with the government he and his minions created, after the US kicks his sorry ass to the curb.

     Reagan felt the US was moving away from some core Constitutional principles … and he was right. Today’s democratic party should actually be renamed the socialist party. It acts pretty much the same as the socialist party in Europe. The republican party should be renamed the democratic party. It’s strayed so far from the principles of conservatism that it’s no longer recognizable.

     Reagan today, if faced with the current crop of candidates would probably vote for Kennedy. Kennedy’s platform is probably closer to a republican platform than today’s republican party is.
