How’s the Army doing under George Bush’s leadership?
If you watch George Bush on any given day, he acts likes everything he touches turns to gold. He’s always under the assumption that if it leaves his mouth, it’s a good idea! Oh yes. Hell, on most days, he believes when he clicks his jackboots together and stretches his arm out to the American people and the military, he’s getting the same response back. Nope! Over 70% of the country thinks the man and his illegal occupation of Iraq is atrocious and now we’re finding out the military is also defecting away from this madman and what he perceives as a noble cause in Iraq…

The Army defines a deserter as someone who has been absent without leave for longer than 30 days. The soldier is then discharged as a deserter.

According to the Army, about nine in every 1,000 soldiers deserted in fiscal year 2007, which ended Sept. 30, compared to nearly seven per 1,000 a year earlier. Overall, 4,698 soldiers deserted this year, compared to 3,301 last year.

The increase comes as the Army continues to bear the brunt of the war demands with many soldiers serving repeated, lengthy tours in Iraq and Afghanistan. Military leaders — including Army Chief of Staff Gen. George Casey — have acknowledged that the Army has been stretched nearly to the breaking point by the combat. Efforts are under way to increase the size of the Army and Marine Corps to lessen the burden and give troops more time off between deployments.
Georgie believes it’s good to use the same soldiers over and over and over and over and over again to fight in his illegal occupation of Iraq, so much so, he’s even forcing his twin girls to sign up! Bah hahahahahahaha, oh Jeebus, what am I saying? George Bush send his girls over to fight the noble cause in Iraq? Oh please! Their daddy’s illegal occupation is only for those whose income is low. In fact! Ole Georgie is only paying our soldiers $1200/month! Georgie’s girls couldn’t live on that income. Hell no. They spend that much a day drinking in bars across the planet! And besides, the girls don’t like getting dirty. They’ve lived amongst the Haves and the Have Mores and know that cleanliness is gawdliness and they believe they are the Chosen Ones because of it.
By the way, the following soldier didn’t desert his post. He decided to do what QUITE A FEW OTHER SOLDIERS have done since Georgie’s bright idea to invade a sovereign nation, illegally occupy it, and ignore the Saudis funding the Sunnis who are killing our soldiers:
Yep, Georgie’s Army & National Guard is out of control, but not in the “We’re gonna win today in Iraq! Let’s party!” kind of out of control. Nope. Georgie’s Army is worn out. The soldiers are fucking tired. They’re tired of leaving their children and their families for an occupation of a nation that didn’t attack us and that had nothing to do with 9/11/01. When did Saddam Hussein ever say, “Death to America!”? Never. Did Iraq attack America on 9/11/01? Nope. So what is the NOBLE CAUSE our soldiers have been put in Iraq to fight for? Oh that’s right. It’s the oil/gas stupid!
Not only are our soldiers defecting out of the military and/or killing themselves, but we even have gas station owners killing each other too OVER THIS NOBLE CAUSE.

Our soldiers are sending home to their families $1200/month, so how the hell are our soldier’s families going to afford this kind of bill this winter? I’m thinking they’re going to have a very tough time! Luckily for Georgie, the price of oil is going to go up this winter and my bill (and the bills our soldier’s families will be receiving) above will be nothing come January/February 2008! But hey, that’s okay to Georgie, because HE AND HIS PIGS ARE BENEFITING FROM HIS NOBLE CAUSE IN IRAQ….isn’t that right Georgie? I spit on you, you fucking asshole.
My Christmas wish for 2007: THE AMERICAN MILITARY STORMS THE WHITE HOUSE, CAMP DAVID, THE RANCH IN TEXAS, BUNKERS THROUGHOUT THE COUNTRY, AND OTHER PLACES THE PIGS IN THE WHITE HOUSE RESIDE………….AND ARRESTS THEM ALL!

Well, Kay, as you know, the pipedream Chalabi sold to the bush cabal just didn’t come true. Oh, the Iraqis are grateful to be out from under the yoke of Sadam, sure, but how far should they extend that gratitude? Should they give over 70% of their oil interests to western oil companies the way bush’s Iraq Oil Law prescribes? For some insane reason those pesky Iraqis in Iraq’s parliament just won’t sign on to that law, and it looks like we’ll just have to continue to occupy their country until they do. Afterall, do they think we’ve gone through all this time and expense just to leave without securing the oil for bush’s favorite campaign contributors? What? Does Iraq think it’s a sovereign nation or something?!
So, anyway, it’s the Iraqi’s fault that we won’t leave. Give up the oil and we will. It’s that simple. In the meantime, we need more young people to replace our tired and weary troops. A draft is called for, and we can start with the bush twins and the College Republicans. Hey, they support this war. Let’s give them the opportunity to REALLY support it. With their ASSES instead of their mouths.
