Oh wow. I bet they are. George Bush and Dick Cheney so badly want to take over the United States, because they feel they deserve it! Yeah, yeah, they ain’t losing no stinking elections to the American people who so badly want to kick their fascist asses to the curb, so they’ll just steal the next election any way they can. Since Nixon’s regime, Dick Cheney has argued that it’s the president who should have all the power and the Congress should not. Oh yes! Cheney believes America should become an authoritarian dictatorship rather than a democracy where the voice of the people reign! That idea is boring to them now! Hell, a stint of Reich Wing American Taliban Martial Law next year would be their most favorite Christmas-in-July present ever! They’ll be…

ISLAMABAD (Reuters) – Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf imposed a state of emergency in a bid to end an eight-month crisis over his rule fuelled by challenges from a hostile judiciary, Islamist militants and political rivals.

General Musharraf said he decided to act on Saturday in response to a rise in extremism and what he called the paralysis of government by judicial interference.

“I fear that if timely action is not taken, then God forbid there is a threat to Pakistan’s sovereignty,” he said in a midnight televised address, after purging the Supreme Court and rounding up lawyers opposed to him.

“I cannot allow this country to commit suicide.”

There had been increasing speculation that Musharraf, who seized power in a 1999 coup, might declare an emergency rather than run the risk the Supreme Court would rule against his re-election as president last month.

Geeeeeee, Musharraf doesn’t understand why his coup in the latter part of the 1990’s is not being embraced at this time! I’m sure George Bush can’t understand why Americans are not happy with the US Supreme Court who squashed the voice of Americans during the 2000 election by picking him to be our president instead of being patient to count all the votes! Wow. Why do dictators take so long to understand this concept? Huh. I wonder.

Maybe they believe the people will just forget it and move on? Hardly! No way will that ever happen!

The ROM (republican owned media here in America) has been complicit in the rise of George W. Bush and Dick Cheney. Oh yes. Georgie wanted to go into Iraq after 9/11/01 and the ROM ate it up! Banging their drums and waving their US flags in sync with each other, they used their own white noise to propagandize the American people by taking the lies, deceits, and distortions of the Bush Regime and running with them. Hell, they wouldn’t even include democrats on any of their panels for the longest time. Opposition to the fascists is never allowed when you’ve taken over the country! Hell, even Musharraf knows that…

Musharraf, who also suspended the constitution, banned the media from publishing anything that defames, ridicules or brings himself, the armed forces or government into disrepute.

Witnesses said troops were also deployed at Pakistan Television and radio stations. Most phone lines were down, and private television channels taken off the air.

That’s right! Banning the media from reporting the truth is not allowed under Martial Law. Oh yes, and don’t forget to ban the country’s Constitution! Ole Georgie & Dickie have worked feverishly to make the Congress useless by giving themselves over 800 signing statements saying they are above the law, are the law, and they don’t have to acknowledge any law they don’t like! Hell, without the help of Arlen Specter over the years who would slip in amendments in the middle of the night for Georgie & Dickie, well, they wouldn’t be having as much fun as they are. Awwwww, how cute of the fascists of America.

Always try to kill your opposition too! Paul Wellstone was dead-set against the invasion and occupation of Iraq and was extremely vocal about it too. Well, one night, the plane he was flying on along with his wife and daughter came crashing to the ground killing everyone on board. Oh yes. Well, Musharraf tried to kill his opposition, Bhutto, recently when she came back to the country after being exiled.

Musharraf also faced a strong political challenge from Bhutto, who returned to Karachi in October from eight years of self-imposed exile, a homecoming marred by the suicide bombing that killed 139.

Apparently Bhutto was under the impression she could work out a deal with Musharraf in sharing the power over Pakistan. Nope! Not gonna happen. Dictators don’t like sharing, correct? Oh no, they like the idea of forming the country to only reflect their views and they want their citizens to accept what is said and to not question why they do what they do!

I’m sure ole Georgie & Dickie are watching Musharraf’s exercise in Martial Law. They could learn a thing or two and with the important 2008 election coming up next year, they’re gonna want to hold onto power and the best way to do that is to either rig the elections again (using the RNC computers, of course, which is what transpired during the 2004 election. Funny how Americans woke up to a Bush win in Ohio after the computerized voting machines of that state went offline for 6 hours or so! Ooopsie. What the hell was Ken Mehlman and Ken Blackwell doing during those hours?????) or to put America into a state of emergency, you know, an “emergency” created by them! As dictators, they will consider the voice of the people against them an emergency for sure!

Yep, Gravel, Kucinich, and Dodd are the only ones running for president who are speaking truth to power, Smoke! The rest are just more of the same on the neocon front. No thanks! Even Edwards helped to write the un-Patriotic Act and after including a few amendments to it, he voted for the final version anyways! No thanks. I’m voting my conscience next year and I will not support Hillary, Obama, or Edwards if they get on the ticket. Even if one of these three is elected in 2008, I still won’t support them! The only way I will is if they move immediately to bring our troops home from Iraq which is now an illegal occupation with a civil war center. Our troops should not be there anymore! Thanks to Paul Bremer for disbanding what was left of the Iraqi Army, so the country COULD slip into chaos. No wonder he got the Medal of Freedom from the Bush Regime! Hell, even the neocons on the thread below worship the cowards! Must be in the neocon blood.

The gist was- Oh well, we will bluster and publically express our unhappiness but we have to support “Our major supporter in the region”. If you think about it, OM (Bill), what could the democrats do to stop it? Georgie & Dickie don’t recognize the Congress as it stands now and they sure as hell aren’t going to go to the Congress for approval to instill Martial Law…and if they do…they’ll provide fake intelligence along with fake documents to get what they want. Hey, fascists never tell the truth….the provide the “truth”, remember?

I recall she said she couldn’t make any protests last week BUT that she was going to one the following Friday (two days ago)….She is all talk and no action. You pegged her right when you said she’d rather have others to all the hard work. Oh and don’t be tough rough on her, she likes saving comments and sending them to the other blog owner to get people banned, and then she attacks others…hypocrite indeed and a phony activist! But then again her family is full of Lawyers.

George Bush is probably quaking in his flight boots wondering if the head of his BFF Musharraf will be paraded around Pakistan on a pike any day now.

Not looking too good for fascists like Bush and Musharraf these days. So strange that “Russian expert” Condi Rice never saw this one coming either but then she was probably out shopping and couldn’t be bothered to stay up-to-date on world affairs. Hey Condi, I heard the Berlin Wall may fall any day now!
