Monica Goodling is a good little sheep
It’s all about covering for Karl Rove & Harriet Miers! That seems to be the name of the game lately and Monica Goodling spent a few hours yesterday ‘not being able to recall anything’, admitting that she crossed the line by using politics herself in the hiring process, but she couldn’t bring herself to admit that Karl Rove & Harriet Miers were using the Justice Department for political reasons to get the department to fire the US Attorney’s who weren’t following their political play book exactly.

After weeks of wrangling about the ground rules for her appearance, Goodling — testifying under a grant of immunity from prosecution — acknowledged that she had taken into account the political leanings of applicants for jobs at the Justice Department, including career prosecutors and immigration judges. That may have violated federal civil service laws, and Goodling conceded she may have “crossed the line.”

The admission, before a packed House Judiciary Committee hearing, was the strongest evidence yet of Bush administration wrongdoing turned up by congressional investigators. For Democrats, it confirmed suspicions about the depths of politicization at the Justice Department under Gonzales.
Well, I suppose since Monica GoodSheep is a graduate of Pat Robertson’s “law school”, Liberty University, it makes sense that she would be loyal to those who could give a flying rat’s ass about her, you know, Bush’s White House. I’m sure that’s the number one lesson taught at this law school: ONE MUST BE LOYAL TO ALL GOP LEADERS.
One thing she did do in her testimony yesterday is prove that Gonzales lied about talking with others in his office about the US Attorney firings:
“He then proceeded to say, ‘Let me tell you what I can remember,’ and he laid out for me his general recollection … of some of the process regarding the replacement of the U.S. attorneys,” Goodling said. “He laid out a little bit of it, and then he asked me … if I had any reaction to his iteration.”

“It made me a little uncomfortable,” Goodling continued.
She also did admit that she attended a meeting with Karl Rove and that Harriet Miers had contacted her via email, but didn’t go into detail about either. See, that right there would have been the one thing I would have pushed yesterday in her testimony. I would have lambasted her with questions about this meeting with Rove and what Miers was saying to her.
The key player is Karl Rove in this case. It’s more than the US Attorney firings for political reasons. It’s the use of the Justice Department by Karl Rove to pull off election fraud in this country. His emails (that are conveniently missing) are key to this investigation and the democrats need to push harder to get these loyal underlings to admit that all roads of criminal activity leads to Rove!
“The only way we can get to the full truth is if Mr. Karl Rove is sitting in the very same seat that you’re sitting in,” Rep. Sheila Jackson-Lee (D-Texas) told Goodling. “And he needs to be here. And he needs to be here posthaste.”
TO THE DEMOCRATS: SUBPOENA KARL ROVE AND STOP PUSSYFOOTING AROUND ABOUT IT! He’s the criminal mastermind (in addition to Cheney) in the White House and he needs to be put under oath……….NOW!
It’s really quiet this morning because everyone is probably standing in line to get their cars fueled. I would suggest taking along some bottled water, a snack and a good magazine.

VOTE CAGING is why Bush stuttered and stammered that congress needs to shut down the DOJ investigations. He knows he is f***ed if they keep going down that path.
I watched her testimony yesterday and all I kept thinking is man she is definitely covering for someone. Even with immunity these guy/gal will still protect their cronies. It is truly disgusting.
What pissed me off even more was how the republicans were praising her courage and her attendance to the holy roller schools of Pat Robertson. I don’t recall anyone one of them asking her a question. Typical of the GOP cover up everything.

It is amazing that GOP followers can overlook a crime or brake the protocol rules of a civil servant. With that attitude they’re all cute.
Monica may be cute and attractive,but she is also an attorney. I have been in the legal field long enough to know that male or female the are all actors and actresses and can be cute and attractive at the flip of a switch.
Monica GoodSheep is proof that if one is attractive, one can be a liar. Hey, she’s the only attorney at the Department of Justice who TAKE THE 5TH AMENDMENT because she knows that every word out of her mouth will be an effing lie! See? Its amazing that the GOP and its supporters can look past breaking the law (which she obviously did or she wouldn’t have ask for immunity) and the violations of protocol for civil servant. But sh’e cute.
Yes she’s cute, but she is also an attorney. I have been in the legal field long enough to know and recognize that they (attorneys) are all actors and actresses and they can turn cute on very fast.
