Happy Birthday!
Are you cooking Mexican? I’m cooking Mexican and tossing the diet overboard today! Any excuse is a good excuse to eat whatever the hell I want!
Woohoo Christopher! We looooooooooooooooove Mexican food.
Happy Birthday Mr. Teenager
Today all diets are off the table!
I try. I really try but, Mexican food is among my favs and dieting is one of the least favorite tasks I face (oh, those 20 extra pounds!), so let’s party today!
Guacamole, enchiladas, and pinto beans at my place. Be here at 2pm!
Yuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuummy. How much fun it would be to have Mexican with you Christopher.
Happy Birthday, Kay’s SON!!!!! 13 is such a milestone. I bet your boy is just beside himself with excitement. OMG! He’s a teenager!
Both of you have a wonderful day. Enjoy. Enjoy. Enjoy!!!!
He’s so cute today Hill like he is on every birthday. He just has that “older” feeling. I love it! He’s a guitar player (self-taught) and the only thing he wants for his birthday is a Line 6 Pod which is a effects mixer that he hooks his guitar up to. He can also hook up the Internet to it and record what he does. Very cool…and expensive, but he’s worth it. I’d rather have him playing guitar at home (or at his friend’s houses) than wandering around will all of them getting into trouble. Zach has one friend that has severe problems, but other than that…he has a great bunch of friends. I like them all.
We’re heading out shortly for him to pick out the mixer he wants.
Very cool! Creative and a guitar player.
Happy Birthday…..Here’s a margarita from Texas (for Kay not the boy)
And let’s not forget the Kentucky Derby. Boy am I gonna be hungover after mixing tequila with Southern Comfort.
Ole! Happy Birthday! And here’s to my Old Kentucky Home.
NYTexan, yes…the Margarita goes to Momma!
Asta, there’s lots of talk about the Kentucky Derby today.
Well, I’m sucking down a margarita, looking over the names of horses running in the race. Last year I picked Barbaro because I liked the name. (That’s how I pick ‘em, to hell with the stats.)
By the time the race is running, I’ll be having another Margie-Ritas (having gotten more chummy with the limes and all) and trying to make chile rellenos without burning down the house.
So, who are we betting on tonight, Kay? I’m going with Cowtown Cat because I like the name.
(I hope the winner’s future will be brighter than Barbaro’s. I cried that day.)
Asta, it was so awful what happened to Barbaro, though it’s not uncommon for that type of injury. When I was in high school, my cousin Karen and I worked for a top race horse driver here in Maine and it was tough to watch when one of the horses got injured in one way or another. Heartbreaking.
I haven’t actually been watching it today because it’s my son’s B-day, plus, he just went to a friend’s house for the evening and I’m getting ready to go out and spend a few hours at a Bath & Body products party. Should be fun. Loving the name “Cowtown Cat” name! Sounds like a winner to me.
Have fun! Tomorrow I will tell you how much money I lost, and you can tell me what to get at Bath & Body that will make me feel better!
I hope you didn’t lose your shirt, Asta, because the Bath & Body party I went to last night won’t help!
