Today Bush will speak at Virginia Tech (*rolling eyes*) about the tragedy that unfolded yesterday before our eyes. How many times will he bring up 9/11, Iraq, and Iran in his speech? Who knows, but I bet at least once.
Alberto Gonzales will not be appearing before the Senate Judiciary Committee today because of yesterday’s tragedy at Virginia Tech. It’s been moved to this Thursday which gives the Lying Czar two more days of studying to get his lies & deceits straight.
What a week we’ve had already. The horrible event at Virginia Tech is a reminder to me that violence and killing doesn’t result in peace and prosperity. It results in dead people and no winner. I wish Bush would pick up on that fact and run with it! We can win wars without torturing and killing, but you can’t convince some people of that who support terrorism, which is exactly what yesterday was at Virginia Tech.
Have a great day and think of the families and students affected by our nation’s worst school shooting in the history of our nation. I’m not proud of this ‘accomplishment’ at all.
