Bush Paranoia…it will destroy ya!

From the Washington Post (I’ve highlighted the important part):
The cameras are off, but that doesn’t mean the microphones are off, too. The House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform grilled General Services Administration chief Lurita Doan on Wednesday over allegations that she tried to give a no-bid job to a business associate, intervened in a contract dispute with a technology company, and had a White House official brief top political appointees at the agency on targeting Democrats and helping Republicans in 2008. All that in just 10 months running the agency.
After a couple of hours, Chairman Henry A. Waxman (D-Calif.), had to call for a quick recess so members could go to the House floor for a vote. The camera lights went off as the lawmakers scurried out and folks at the hearing milled about.
Doan, apparently not realizing her microphone was still on, turned to an aide and said: “Take my water, and my glass. I don’t want them to track my fingerprints. They’ve got me totally paranoid.” (To listen to the audio snippet, go to washingtonpost.com and click on today’s In the Loop column.) Doan’s husband and her chief of staff both have a military-intelligence background, and she has sold surveillance equipment to the Department of Homeland Security and other agencies — so she knows how these things work.
Wow! (CLICK HERE FOR THE VIDEO OF PARANOIA DESTROYING BUSH CRONY DOAN)
The Bush Mafia is losing their minds, they’re looking over their shoulders, and their paranoia is slowly destroying them all. Ha ha. Good. This is what happens when one lies for years, does shady business deals, and covers up their own crimes.

Am I the only one who thinks Lurita looks like a man?

LOL Lurita is a Bush jackboot licking supporter, Christopher! Of course she’s thrown her femininity to the wind for all of them!
Poor thing….she’s paranoid now.

Kay, O/T but are you feeling a change in the direction of the political winds as I am? The “I” word may be closer at hand than we had thought possible.

Oh yes I am Christopher! The Gonzo scandal could be just the thing to tip the scales in that direction. Seems that Rove, Miers and others have a lot of explaining to do. It was pointed out recently that if the Bush Regime had originally said, “Hey, we fired these US attorneys because we wanted to and we don’t have to give you a reason as to why!”, but they didn’t (though that probably would have made us all pissed off too). What they did do instead was they said, “We fired them because their job performances stunk”, which, when looking at the records of these US attorneys we find that all of them were in good standing. Now the Bush Pigs are backtracking! Love it.
Bunch of liars they are. Gonzo being the proven liar at the moment, but I see more proven liars coming.

Americans will take anything to get the Pigs to impeachment. Americans are sick of these warmongering, lying, thieves.

I find this story hilarious.
Does anybody remember the story that, when Bush goes abroad he has Secret Service people assigned to make sure his feces and urine don’t get into the wrong hands? Talk about paranoia – but probably justified by the fact that Chimpy’s mental state is kept in adjustment by Big Pharma’s most advanced anti-psychotic cocktails.
As juicy a scandal as Gonzogate is, I don’t think it is the main story, nor that it will bring about impeachment. I think the Democrats should be concentrating on a three pronged approach of investigations, with the goal of eventually tying all three into one major impeachment push. The triad of deceit they should pursue?
1)Cheney’s sacrosanct energy policy meetings early in the administration’s first term – even before 9/11. The amount of effort they have put into keeping everyone in the dark about this tells you how scummy it is. Maps of Iraq’s oilfields were distributed to participants.
2)All the bogus intelligence generated to justify the invasion of Iraq, including the outing of Valerie Plame, an act of treason in and of itself.
3)The wholesale funneling of YOUR tax dollars to entities like Halliburton, Blackwater, etc. through no-bid cost-plus contracts ALWAYS going to close Repuglican cronies. The disappearance of literally billions into thin air. And what about the vast oil revenues that Wolfowitz promised would pay for the war? I believe those revenues (HUNDREDS of BILLIONS) have been diverted into the Repugs main project – the final suspension of all civil liberties and democracy itself in the United States of America.
But hey, they kept their SOTU promise to protect everyone from man/animal hybrids – OR DID THEY ?!?!? Take a close look at Cheney – I’m sure he has the heart of a pig beating in his chest. Swineman.

SBT,
An obscure thing will bring these assholes down because it will catch them off guard. So far the Gonzales scandal is leading right to Rove and the rest of the Pigs in the White House. This could be it. We’ll have to wait and see.
